What is Art?
Every work of art has 3 parts.
Subject: The subject is the object you can recognize in the artwork. If a work has no objects, the elements of art are the subject.
Composition: The composition is how the elements and principles are organized in the art work.
Content: The content is the message or meaning of the artwork. When the work of art is functional then the function of the work is the meaning.

What owl nests underground, has long legs, and is active during the day? If you guessed the Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia), you’re correct! It has a wide range across western North America, Central America, and South America, where it lives in open habitats such as deserts or prairies. This unique owl often makes home in old prairie dog and ground squirrel burrows, or in burrows that it digs itself. In fact, if threatened, it’ll run away by foot or compress itself against the ground instead of flying away.
