hello all, i don’t even know where to begin writing this post. i’m not really the type to talk too deeply about my personal life on the interweb and never in a million years would i ever have thought i’d be asking something like this but, i need help. may has been brutal month financially for my family. at the end of april my sister, cousin, and i were in a car accident that totaled my car. ( link to videos from said accident: one, two, three. ) as a result my sister and cousin both haven’t been able to return to work due to injuries. which has left me the main money maker at home. 

i’ve been managing as best as i can but it hasn’t been easy due to the fact that i’ve missed quite a few days in may due to accident as well. i don’t have any benefits at work so there has been no paid or sick leave to make up for my lack of hours and i’ve already blown through most of my savings. i currently have less than 50$ in my bank account with a multiple bills due. a 220$ electricity bill, 100$ renter’s insurance fee that my landlord forces us to have, 50$ cellphone bill ( i work as a home health aide and need my phone to clock in and out ),and july’s rent is right around the corner just to name a few. plus the rental i’ve gotten since the accident  is a gas guzzler which means i’m constantly burning through money stopping for gas which is still pretty high in my neck of the woods due to the pipeline shut down a couple weeks ago.

in conclusion: i’m struggling college student supporting a household of five on her own until my sister and cousin can get back to work. if there is any chance that any of you have the means to spare a few bucks my way i’d really appreciate it. my cashapp handle is $ayeasha96 and my paypal is paypal.me/ayeasha96 . whatever you can give would help tremendously.

ramadan is over. finals are over. i am finally not working 50+ hours a week and i miss writing/being an active part of this community so.......someone(s) open up a light dark academia skeleton group with meeeeeee.

plot including: a beautiful campus hidden away somewhere in the swiss alps, an elusive and exclusive acceptance process, alumni that end up becoming presidents or ceos of fortune 500 companies or egot winners....just basically leaders and innovators of their field, eccentric and beloved faculty and staff (including a gatsby like dean), a diverse student body, "hey -insert name- i havent heard from you in a while? do you think you're too good for your home town friends now that you're at that school or something?", an odd sense of deja vu following you wherever you go, going to bed one day and waking up knowing a language you've never spoken before, "hey what year are you in?" "oh um third...i think?", smug grad students who seem to know something you don't, and a picturesque safe haven that's being invaded by nefarious figures.

if anyone is interested in making this a reality with me let me know i guess???? i got some skeleton descriptions and a loose plot summary written up if anyone want to take a peek! also i guess consider this sort of an interest check too? would this type of plot/group interest people?

my birthday is around the corner and i am once again reminded of how much i've isolated myself. nothing like a second birthday during a worldwide pandemic to wreck your mental health and bring back up all the loneliness you've been trying to ignore. i never had much of a social life before covid anyway but damn did it ruin the little i had. anyways if you're reading this i love you. sorry for disassociating for yet another -insert how many months its been since we've last spoken-. as always it's not you, it's me. consider this my yearly reminder to not mistake my silence for indifference. chances are if you are taking the time to read this that i think of you often and miss you infinitely.

Ma'Khia Bryant, a 15 year old Black girl, was fucking murdered by a cop in Columbus, Ohio, after calling the police for help because she was being jumped by another group of teenage girls, she had a knife on her that she had for self-defense and the fucker rolled up and shot her 4 times, apparently without telling her to drop the knife according to bystanders, and this happened roughly 20 minutes before Chauvin's verdict in court for the murder of George Floyd
