The cabin is at the top of a hill and with the valley below and the hills beyond the thunder echoes and goes on and on and on. And with every rumble, the wind blows and the trees dance.

My house is officially for sale and we've got two showings for today already plus open houses on the weekend. I'm heading up to Oklahoma to get out of the way and am staying at a nice cabin. It's supposed to rain the entire time. Good thing there's a pool table. And a hot tub. And an outdoor fireplace. And a sauna I think? I was really excited when I booked the place because it was one of the few that accepted dogs over 20 pounds.

I'm attempting subliminal persuasion by having that word visible on the coffee table.

"Beautiful. Yes, that's the right word. What a beautiful house! Let's buy it."

The eastern most point in the Continental U.S. Lubec Me. Population 296. It’s actually in the Atlantic time zone. And other than this lighthouse, there’s nothing else there. It kind of reminded me of Bodega Bay in “The Birds” it was that quiet and forlorn. And there’s no place to eat. Luckily there was a very small grocery store where we found food
