Controversal opinion, I don't think it's really ever appropriate for people to theorize about groups they're not apart of.

That's how you get things like "non binary people aren't oppressed" and "trans men are exactly like cis men in every way and therefore have male privilege" and "asexuals aren't LGBT" and "bisexuals have straight privilege" like maybe like, include the group you're theorizing about to talk about their experiences because it always ends up exclusionary otherwise.

Nothing annoys me more in GoT/ASOIAF fandom than the argument that since Cersei is ~crazy, she’s fabricating the wrongs done to her. 

The Tyrells ARE out to get her, Robert DID abuse her (he slapped her across the face in front of Ned and if he’s doing that in front of others, he’s doing worse in private), and Jaime DOES ignore her saying no during sex (the Sept scene is from his POV and she explicitly says no and tries to beat him off with her fists before eventually saying yes). 

But well, fandom will fandom.

There are a lot of hedging Jonsaesque comments like this on TWOW theories with no backlash on YouTube:

Sansa has to remarry at some point. Continuing the Stark bloodline is her duty and it will secure her reign as a ruler. Now the good question is who will she marry. GRRM has teased many times who this could be. It should be someone who fits the "High Lord who is brave, gentle, strong" description. It should be someone who is like the heroes of the songs (Prince Aemon the dragon knight and Florian the Fool) if not even better. It should be someone who is also willing enough to give up any claim or name and take up the Stark name. Now I can think of one person though, who checks off all this points, but I am not sure if I should say it

People, especially men, are willing to see the logic of the pairing so long as the word “Jonsa” is unmentioned. So stupid.
