Alexander bid everyone farwell before returning his attention to Nana.
"That's a good idea. It's been a very exciting day."
The prince replied, saying as the newlyweds exited the great hall.
Soon, they arrived at the summer palace.
"Wow, this beautiful." Alexander, looking around at scenery, gently squeezing his beides hand.
"Should we go inside My Lady?" He asked with a soft smile.
"Of course I would. That's what family's for!"
Hunter replied with a mischievous grinned finishing treat before catching the Mason prepared to leave.
"Well, it looks like these three had a good time."
He chuckled, dusting some crumbs out of the boys hair.
"I was wondering if I could borrow Lucas for a bit if you don't mind, Darlin."
Kori nodded. "Sure, we'll see you at home, Lu!" She answered, kissing Hunter's cheeks before following her grandparents.
"Really? I certainly didn't know that. How did she end up serving Nana?"
Njord asked, quite surprised.
"Ah, good old 'friendly' rivalry, at least it keeps things interesting!"
Hunter joked, grabbing a piece of cake.
" How about this, I'll talk to Luke and get the ball rolling for you. I'm sure he'll come to his senses of a little encouragement."
The Nordic prince added as watching the Mason's little cousins enjoying their treat.
"Awe, it looks like those three are having fun."
"I noticed Hunter has become quite infatuated with the young lady, I was wondering what you could tell me about her? My eldest has a tendency to act without thinking, as you know."
Njord chuckled, drinking his mead.
After a few hours of fun, the Mason approached the newlyweds.
"We're going to head out now, you two. Three certain kiddos need a bath." Kori joked gesturing the child now covered in frosting and cake crumbs.
"I'm surprised they ate any of it." Alexander mused, making the little ones laugh as they waved goodbye.
"Have a good night, guys. we'll see you later." Kori snickered, hugging the couple before saying goodnight to the others.

Anna widened her dark eyes at Hunter's suggestion, pleasantly surprised. "You... you would do that? I mean, sure... that would be nice. Thank you." The princess smiled, happily eating a bite of her cake.
Meanwhile, the Emperor chuckled at his fellow ruler's comment. "Well, I could tell you she's a very decent young woman. Strong and opinionated, but also very loyal. Plus, if it's something that matters to your lineage, her grandfather is a chief on the island they originally come from, so she can be considered of royal descent, I think. Overall, I think she'd be a good partner to your son." The Emperor mused, also taking a sip of his drink.
As the Masons approached them, Nana chuckled at Kori's comment, observing the little children covered in cake. "I'm really glad everyone had fun!" The princess commented, hugging her friend. "We will, thank you! See you later!" Nana grinned, turning to her husband. "Should we... also head out to our palace?" She suggested, blushing a little.

"Sounds good to me!" Hunter grinned heading over to the cake station.
"Have you thought about telling Lucas that you like him? It's also possible he doesn't know your actual feelings towards him, especially with you and Takumi dating and all."
The prince suggested getting in line behind the younger princess. "Although it seems like Ichinose tends to get kind of quite competitive with any guy giving you girls attention."
He added, shrugging at his observation.
"That's wonderful. we're so happy for you!" Kori beamed hugging the bride and groom.
"Thank you, we owe a lot of it, you guys." Alexander chuckled, returning the embrace.
"Maybe Luke and Anna might be next?" He whispered so Luke didn't hear as Kori laughed.
"Well, anything is possible!" The maid joked. If Lu and Anna did decide to take it that far, then she would, of course, support her brother, but that future remained uncertain for now.
"I'm glad to see everyone having a good time!" Njord said, digging into his cake.
"Mmm, I may have to get this recipe from your cooks, Raiden it's delightful!"
The Njord ruler added, covering his mouth, watching everyone.
"Do I have a few questions about your daughter's handmaid. After tonight, of course."

Anna frowned slightly at Hunter's comment, blushing a little. "But I... Takumi and I aren't officially dating... we've known each other for the longest time and are just friends... we just have a good time, that is all..." The younger princess tried to explain, a little embarrassed. Then, the Nordic prince's remark made her laugh. "That is true! He even gets super competitive with Kenji, everything turns into into some kind of contest for them, to see who's better at this and that..." She added, shaking her head.
"Thank you so much, Kori!" Nana smiled wide, returning her best friend's embrace, while the Emperor smiled at his fellow ruler's comment. "I'm sure they'd gladly pass it on to you. Or maybe not, just so we could count on your visits more often." Raiden joked, then nodded. "Of course, anything."
With everyone having a great time at the wedding party, dancing and drinking, time surely flew, and soon some guests started to say their goodbyes to the royal families, giving their best wishes to the newlyweds once more.
"Sounds good to me!" Hunter grinned heading over to the cake station.

Hunter said, mostly thinking out loud as Nana called everyone's attention.
"I'm sure Luke would be more than willing to court you if there is to ensure his and his family's safety.
He with added shrugs as the Mason siblings took the kids up to get a slice of cake.

"Well, this is gonna be fun." Kori giggled, feeding a piece of strawberry to an excited infant.
"I bet most of that either ends up on the floor or their clothes."
Lucas joked as Sisa demanded more.
"Okay, okay, cool your britches, Kid." He chuckled feed the baby some of the frosting.
"So, how's it feel to be officially married?"

"That is true..." Anna sighed, taking a sip of her drink. She'd never thought about it like that, but she knew Hunter was right. Still, she thought that if Luke really wanted to court her, he would. It was no secret that her Father had a soft spot for the Masons, so there was no way he'd let anything bad happen to them. Plus, ambitious as he was, she knew Takumi would go against everything and everyone to court her, and secretly, the princess hoped Luke had the same courage. However, now was not the time to be somber, so Anna tried to put on a more happy face for her older sister. "Come, let's get ourselves some cake!" She smiled at Hunter, motioning for him to follow her.
After serving cake to all of their guests, Nana smiled, also enjoying a bite of the sweet treat. "Mmm! It's even more delicious than the one they served at our rehearsal dinner!" The princess commented with her husband, before turning her attention to the Mason siblings. "It feels great, actually! Much better than I'd imagined not too long ago." She mused with a smile.

"Ah, well, if Lucas is anything like his sister, he's probably a little hesitant because commanders tend to get in trouble for courting royal right? "
Hunter replied, taking a shot.
"Maybe that's why."
The Nordic heir added with a shrug.
Kori gave her brother a sympathetic smile while rubbing his back.
"If it makes you feel any better, You'd be a WAY better suitor than Tak."
Luke snorted, shaking his head.
"Thanks, Kid." He joked before cheering for their friends.
"You're quite welcome, dear." Njord replied, patting his son's shoulder.
"Thank you, Father." Alexander said, turning his attention to Nana.
"Goog idea, My Lady, looks like the little ones are more excited for the treat than we are."
He mused noticing all the children staring at the tall dessert.
The prince offered his wife his hand as they made their way to the sweets table.
"Wow, the chefs really went all out today."

"Oh..." Anna widened her eyes at Hunter's suggestion. "I guess you're right..." The princess admitted, taking a sip of her drink, a little embarrassed that she hadn't taken into consideration all the possible repercussions for Luke, while for her it would be a pleasant, fun time.
Listening to Alexander's comment, her eyes followed his line of sight, landing on the little children that had gathered around their wedding cake, admiring and craving the delicious-looking treat. "They surely are!" She laughed, nodding in agreement and accepting his hand, letting him guide her to the table. "Yes! Father would never have hired them, otherwise!" The princess chuckled, lifting an empty glass and clinking a spoon against it, trying to get the guests' attention. "Cake time, everyone!" She announced happily.

"Mother loves this song." He mused, dipping his bride.

"I swear I'm starting to think she could be a seer at this point."
He chuckled, pulling Nana a little closer as the guests awed.
"This song was practically made for them." Luke whispered as Kori giggled in agreement.
"It definitely seems like it." The maid replied, watching the newly wedded couple.
"I hope Kenji and Anna's future partners are half a good of fix as Blue and Nan are."
Lucas nodded. "Me too, Munchkin." He blonde replied, glancing over at the younger princess.
While at the royal table, Hunter noticed the fellow blonde's constant staring.
"Seems like you've caught one of the Mason's attention, Anna." The older prince quietly teased so their fathers wouldn't hear as his little brothers rolled their eyes, like he didn't have his eyes glued onto their sister-in-law's maid.
"He knew he's not that suttle, right?" Charlie asked Kenji and Toby, who snorted.
Soon, the song ended, and the guest paised the noble pair.
"Well, that brought back a lot of memories, Love choice you two."
Njord said briefly, wiping his eyes as the couple entered.

Happily dancing with her husband, Nana smiled wide at his words. "I feel like I'll really get along with your mother, and I truly look forward to meeting her! If anything, we already have something in common, our unconditional love for you." The princess mused, looking lovingly into Alexander's eyes.
Sitting at the table, Anna felt Luke's eyes landing on her, so she naturally smiled and waved at him. Hunter also noticed it, and his teasing made the younger princess laugh. "Oh, he also caught mine... even though he likes to play hot and cold with me... I wonder why, though." She mused, speaking almost in a whisper, so only her new brother in law could hear it.
Once the music was over and the newlyweds rejoined their families at the table, Nana smiled and bowed politely at King Njord's words. "I'm glad you liked it, Your Majesty." Then, she turned to Alexander. "How about we cut our cake now, my love?"
Alexander nodded, leading Nana to the floor, carefully placing a hand on her waist as the band began to play.

Njord chuckled and nodded, downing his own beverage as the guests followed his lead, as they chatted the Nordic phase.
Kori laughed, tapping her glass with her family before taking a sip as the bard continued to play.

The Mason siblings cheered as the royal couple took the floor.
"I wonder what song they chose."
Devon thought aloud as Little Sisa babbled the demanding more cake.

"Oh... oh, right... Anna!" Nana widened her eyes at Charlie's reply, laughing at the little misunderstanding. "I see... I think that would be lovely too! They seem to fancy each other!" The princess mused, letting out a soft giggle. As Alexander pulled out the chair for her, Nana smiled up at her husband, taking her seat. "Thank you, my love."
Just as everyone had started to enjoy their meal, Lucas entered the hall, accompanied by a bard, and much to Nana's surprise and delight, they started playing the song from her and Alexander's first meeting, the day they were both undercover at the village's tavern. "They really do, my love!" The princess beamed, feeling Alexander's arm around her, and she rested her head on his shoulder while her hand searched for his, lacing their fingers together. "Looking back, who would have guessed we'd be here today? Happily married, surrounded by both our families!" She mused, looking up to place a kiss upon her husband's cheek.
Who also watched the performance with particular attention and admiration was Anna, whom Nana could swear cheered the loudest once it came to an end. Then, King Njord took it upon himself to thank the performers and do a short, yet deeply moving speech, which pleased the Emperor. "May both our legacies prosper together, my friend." Raiden added, also raising his glass. "Skol!"

Charlie snickered at Nana's question.
"Well, I technically meant Anna, but who knows, Hunter... isn't much of a committed type, but he's never been this affectionate towards a girl aside from Sunny's mother, so it's possible we may get another sister!"
He replied as they follow they're family to the table.
"What were you two whispering about?" Hunter asked as Alexander pulled out the chair for Nana.
"Nothing, Big Brother, just congratulating the happy couple."
The younger prince answered as he began preparing his plate.
After everyone was settled, the bard appeared along with Luke.
"This is a little something for the newlyweds. Congrats on tying the knot!"
He said, making everyone laugh as he began to play the song from Nana and Alexander's first meeting.

The groom smiled hearing the melody as he wrapped his arm around his wife.
"The Masons really remember everything, don't they?"
He mused touched by the thoughtful gesture.
Meanwhile, Hunter spent most of the performance watching Kori with her family humming along to the tune but quickly looked anyway as the guests cheered once the other young man was finished.
"That was beautiful, Lu." Kori grinned as the brother sat down. "I wouldn't be surprised if you just caught yourself some new admirers"
The maid teased as Luke rolled his eyes just as the Nordic ruler made an announcement.
"Thank you for that wonderful piece, Lucas. It warms my heart to see my boys in such talented company.
It also brings me great joy and honor to unite our house with another, such as the Serizawa empire, I pray the gods bless everyone here with good future and endless happiness!"
Njord exclaimed raising a glass. "Skol!"
"Skol!" The guests replied, downing their drinks.

She asked in a low voice, so only the young prince could hear her, letting out a soft giggle and feeling happy for her best friend, had it been the case that she'd also found love.
"Thank you so much, Kori!" Nana beamed, accepting the drink and taking a sip, and their comments about Takumi made her laugh. "Even Takumi knows when to yield from a battle... and he never stood a chance against my Viking prince!" Nana replied, looking up at Alexander, her eyes full of love and admiration.
Taking his place at the table, the Emperor gave the order for the feast to begin, and the servants brought out all the delicious food that had been previously selected by the newlyweds β€” a mix of Japanese and Nordic cuisine, as well as the strawberry wedding cake.

"So do I, my love." Nana grinned happily at her husband, letting him take her hand and guide her to the great dining hall, in order to greet their guests. "Thank you so much, Your Majesty! It is my honor to become a part of your family as well." The princess smiled at her father-in-law, as he and Alexander's younger brothers congratulated them. Then, she laughed at Charlie's comment. Taking his place at the table, the Emperor gave the order for the feast to begin, and the servants brought out all the delicious food that had been previously selected by the newlyweds β€” a mix of Japanese and Nordic cuisine, as well as the strawberry wedding cake.
"I certainly look forward to that." Alexander grinned, taking his bride's hand as they made their way to meet their guests before spotting Raiden as they walked through the door.
"Thank you, Your Highness. It is a great honor."
The prince replied as his father and brothers greeted the couple.
"Congratulations, you two, the ceremony to beautiful, and we are overjoyed to have you as a part of our family, Nana."
Njord said proudly as the younger princes hugged the pair.
"Yes, we've always wanted a sister, now we have two!"
Charlie exclaimed as Toby laughed in agreement while Kori brought some beverages to the newlyweds.
"Cheers to the happy couple! You both did amazing!"
She smiled.
"You did! I'm honestly surprised Ichinose didn't try objecting or something."
Hunter joked as Kori laughed.
"Hey Takumi, isn't that big of a jerk. Well, not most of the time anyway."
