“Alright then.” Rylan shook his head, smiling. He wanted to let loose and actually have some genuine fun rather than suffer through the awkwardness. So he refilled his cup, guzzling down the bitter juice. Soon enough, one more drink turned into two, then three, then four, until he lost count of how much he’d had. Everything started to have fuzziness to it, as well as an odd hilarity. He began slurring out ridiculous jokes that made barely made sense as he tried to maintain his balance. “This stuff is – all-right.” He cooed, setting down his drink.

Chey could already feel the alcohol start it’s way into her bloodstream, her fingertips tingling. “Done? I’m only just started,” she said, taking the cup back, she refilled it herself and dropped it back thirstily. How much of the stuff did it take? It didn’t taste very good, why couldn’t she just get drunk fast and not have to drink anymore?

"The funniest." Rylan added, rolling his eyes. He poured himself something to drink as well, and took three long swigs to finish it. Once she passed him back the cup, he cocked his eyebrows. "You done already?" He questioned daringly. 

Chey frowned and gave him a look, setting down her cup. “You just think you’re so funny, huh?” She took the other cup from him and downed it, the stuff going down a little easier this time. Smirking triumphantly, she handed the cup back to him and raised her eyebrows.

Rylan watched her drink the punch and held in a laugh from her reaction. This was all very amusing for him and he tried his best to bite his tongue and not say any snide remarks but sometimes he couldn’t hold it in. “Alright, badass.” He taunted and held up another cup full, offering it for her to drink. “It’s not that bad, right?” He mocked, eyeing her curiously as he smiled.

Chey took the cup from him and smelled the liquid inside surreptitiously. She balked at the smell, crinkling her nose at the strong scent of alcohol. Seeing that he had already finished his, she knuckled down and did her best at chugging the fruity mixture. It took a couple of painful swallows to get it all down and when it was all gone she let out a cough or two, shaking her head a little. She smiled uneasily and tried to respond nonchalantly, “It’s not that bad.”
