Did not wake up dead. Did wake up at 3a to my weather radio going off. Severe Thunderstorm Warning. Didn't hear anything outside, so I knew it must be a leading line of storms. Checked time. "May as well get up." Turn off alarm clock on phone. Go to door to go to bathroom. Roommate in bathroom. Weather radio goes off again.

Me, looking at radio like, "Please tell me you didn't upgrade the storm in about two minutes time." Sure enough! Tornado Warning now.

Me, Googling radar from NWS, "Where? Where is it? Which way is it going?"

This fucking thing passed northeast of us, and east of where my job is.

Also, there's 5 dead from the Columbia storm so far. News is only saying one so far, but a coworker talked to a sheriff before work.

Also, just so y'all know. So far there's been like 5 tornadoes uncomfortably close to my house tonight. And it's still going! And will until like 3a!

can't speak for anon but if you can gargle water, do the same breathing thing at the back of your throat, and practice until you can do it with your teeth together. Once you can do that you can adjust your pitch until it's about the same as a large housecat.

I had a friend who could make the sound come out of her upper chest but I've never managed that

This just hit Columbia, TN. It was labeled a Tornado Emergency by the National Weather Service. Was headed north of us but I think it lifted before it got there.

My blorbos are great anti-role models, it goes like this. First you ask "what would Mike Walters do?" and if you're doing that you vow to be less shitty and figure out who you have to go apologise to. Then you ask "what would Viktor Arcane do?" and if you're doing that you vow to take better care of yourself and go the fuck to sleep. If it gets to "what would Caleb Widogast do?" you figure out a safe and preferably legal outlet for your desire to set some shit on fire.
