How do you come up with character designs? I’ve been struggling lately to make them for my own characters and was wondering if you had any tips or tricks

also I put a ton of symbols into my characters of what they represent and their personalities, like space themed Elise because her middle name is Halley’s Comet, also I like subtle hints :D
