I don't know who needs to hear this, but: Just because a woman's husband works a specific job, it does not legally require her to also work the same exact job. Even in less "enlightened" times, the wife usually had other duties to take care of. That's like calling your cousin an innkeeper just because they might also technically provide a service to the premises. She's "the farmer's wife" because she's not the fucking farmer.

Not enough people appreciate that being any kind of artist professionally requires you to have multiple skillsets/knowledge bases, law always being one of them. Whether it's screwing yourself over by accident, or not overstepping your bounds and legal rights, you need to know this stuff. I'm a little lucky in that I'm independent and keep enough documentation of my works that I can cover myself. I can afford a bit of a loose approach with my (currently small) audience. But there's still plenty I have to worry about.

This may sound mean, but...

If you send me an ask containing links to Good Omens fan fiction you think I should read, I'll delete it. Do it again and I'll (regretfully) block you. This is a general blanket sort of thing -- I don't want to read it, legally I can't read it, no I won't make it into the next series, and, no matter how pure your motives, it's crossing a line.

Everyone seems to wanna make you out to be a weirdo for liking the schoolgirl look, they'll always try to tie it back to some idea of youth. In reality that shit's just peak formal attire, not a lot of people that don't look good in it. Like a good blazer and short pencil skirt. It's got nothing to do with the actual intended use of the outfit.
