in further unexpected news... the inaros rework is great? i mean he's not saryn or xaku or any of the other really good ones but like he's usable now. he's fun. i love this. also no i totally haven't dumped 200 plat, a helminth ability, and 3 forma already into new cosmetics and mod polarizations because i became enamored with a new steel path build idea, why would you ask that.
i've only just downloaded the update and am not even past the update details screen but already this dante unbound soundtrack slaps

At the gate for my flight home from visiting friends and there's a woman here with a service Shiba Inu. No pics because he has a Do Not Disturb vest and taking pics of strangers is illegal but I need to stress how ON DUTY this animal is. Ears up. Eyes doing Lazer scans of everything. Examining everyone who passes within 10ft like a security guard. Ass planted on her feet. I have never seen a dog with such intense chivalric guardian energy before. He has tiny eyebrows and they are FURROWED with concentration.

How do you feel about the use of AI as a tool for writers? Not to make the writing for us, of course, but to ask for prompts or "chat" about plot points where you're stuck.
Friends are nice. If you can find some human ones. That's how Terry Pratchett and I became friends. He'd call me up when he wanted to chat about plot points when he got stuck.

Idea for future cosmere. Aviars that have been brought to Roshar so they can bond a spren. Animals seem to require a gem heart or binding, but then again Ryshadium are spren bonded horses and they don't originally have gem hearts(they might have one after but I don't think so).
Spoilers for Sixth of Dusk, we learn from Dusk that really any bird can become an Aviar, as long as they eat the invested parasitic worms from the perpendicularity. It might even be possible for other animals to do this, but it seems to be specific to birds. If I remember correctly, the majority of people believe that only birds born on the island can get the powers, but Dusk knows it's the worms.
So either these Radiant Aviar bond lesser spren and become huge and weird. I don't think an animal can ever bond a True Spren, I think their bond requires a being of at least equal sapient ability, but there are plenty of lesser spren that could make interesting combinations with the Aviar.
Or... Hear me out, a chicken from Scadrial eats a worm from Patj and gains Sapience and bonds with a Cultivation spren, becoming an edge dancer. Or depending on the angst and sense of justice of said Chicken, a Skybreaker.
