First of all I had to come up with a fullbody design for her since previously I'd only drawn a headshot of her haha
Still not 100% on this but it's a start haha. She's obviously inspired by an echidna! She can't fly but if you look closely you might spot her vestigial wings :3
So as for her free time, most of her time is spent tending to her fruit trees and bushes. I think it can digging for tubers
As for other hobbies, Gaff goes to some of Hunaja's exercise classes, since she's not as young as she used to be and gets a little stiff and sore from time to time... pilates helps keep her moving! She likes to stop for a cup of tea with friends and neighbours, take long naps in comfy hammocks, and play mistal mahjong :3
Is there any interest in cybernetic/cyberpunk skins? I really love Augment and wanted to push it even further, but I'm unsure if this genre holds interest for y'all ;u;
I thought I might as well upload the few oldschool Flight Rising screencaps that I have. I thought I had more, but I might've lost a few, but these are the ones that survived:
- 2016 registration
- old Coli loot tables
- old achievements (these are actually still viewable if you go back through the activity feed of users who were active during this time, but I thought it'd be fun to show a few screencaps of it anyways)
I've seen posts asking for the connections to native mythology to be changed, to be erased. I saw one saying coatls should have their name changed because of its connection to quetzalcoatl. I think the belief that staff can't pull from indigenous mythology is unfair both to staff and to natives, when fantasy itself as a genre exists almost entirely based off of cultural mythologies. Dragons themselves are mythology. Yetis are mythology. Quetzalcoatl is mythology. There's wisps, there's dryads, there's kelpie. A game about dragons is going to have connections to mythology around the world, it is the nature of fantasy.
I love how much the FR community supports one another, but please don't ask native mythology to be removed. We exist and our mythology is the same as any other, and I think it's lovely when it gets explored and inspires creativity. Ask for it to be done tastefully, yes! But don't ask for it to be removed entirely, please.
