What the shit...  TSN Q:  Who would you pick first - Crosby, Stamkos or KESSEL?  #WTF http://t.co/EShYnaOF
Obviously TSN is desperate to make that MLSE purchase pay off.

So yesterday this happened...
http://www.the6thsens.com/2012-articles/october/melnyk-looking-to-sell-the-senators.html
And then today this happened...
http://www.senatorsextra.com/main/melnyk-i-will-never-sell-the-senators
And last year this happened...
http://www.senatorsextra.com/main/senators-ownership-chatter
To recap, once again Nick Kypreos is spreading rumours about Melnyk selling the Sens.
Nick, we get it, you don't like the Sens would love to see them fold, move, go bankrupt, whatever. You enjoy planting false rumours to stir up controversy and rile up Sens fans. It's getting really old.
At what point does the bias coming out of FAN 590 stop being news and start just being noise that we can all ignore?

Well-connected former New York Islanders exec Chris Botta of Sports Business Daily confirms via a source: "Isles set to play in Brooklyn in 2015."
It looks like the Isles are moving to Brooklyn.
Can't say I feel all that sad. Sure there is some history there, but the team is technically staying on Long Island and was just a shell of a franchise in Nassau.
Many are talking about the Barclay's Center seating capacity for hockey, a relatively small 14500.
A few points on that. First, 14500 is more than the Isles have averaged in nearly a decade. A sold out small building beats a half-full large one any day.
Second, the Islanders (they are apparently keeping the name) can easily make up for this by raising ticket prices. A new team in Brooklyn will be a hot ticket, and could easily support a 20 percent increase to make up the difference.
The Isles 2011 average ticket price was $49.06. A 20 percent increase would bring the average price to $58.72, still 12 percent cheaper than the Rangers average price of $66.20. That's means a sellout at 14500 is really the equivalent of a crowd of 17400 at the old Nassau prices.
Add in better concessions, parking, broadcast and merchandise revenue (so long as they let Jay Z design the jerseys), and they are far ahead of where they were in Nassau.
Finally, and this is a concept I have been pushing for the Sens, bigger isn't always better when it comes to seating capacity. A smaller, state-of-the-art venue in the heart of one of the richest and most vibrant communities in the world is bound to drive up demand and make those scarce tickets a hot commodity.
The only problem, Wang and Snow are still running the team. I wonder if HOVA can skate?
