--- I think a lot about how, despite having the void between stars quite literally at his finger tips, when playing the role of the bartender he prefers far more physical means of dealing with troublemakers.
In fact it's that selfsame desire that leads him to keep the rather ornate looking cane by his side at all times. If one is to look close enough they can spot a button beneath the handle that tells of the hidden intricacy within that wood.
Alas, his presence alone usually demands order and respect but in the moments where people decide not to obey his simple rules deft hands have already drawn the blade from his side unnaturally fast.

He could hardly remember the last time he'd looked upon the mortals, back when they had merely begun to experiment with flame.
Oh how delighted he'd been to find a mortal that had so willingly allowed him to latch his existence upon, in exchange for an unclaimed boon from them. Truly if he hadn't known better he'd assume himself the sire of the once mortal who delightfully spread chaos disguised as Madness, and to fall for a demon in the process? Well truly he couldn't have been happier to leave the body in return for a promise to continue to revel in insanity.
He couldn't deny having picked up the trick to appearing human from the man, leaving his true body inside that singularity to carve his domain upon the world with outstretched claw. Mortals, he found, had such an innate desire for information there was a trade in it not unlike the summoning he oft participated in. Those who did not pay with coin paid with favor after favor, and he could never quite refuse the idea of mortals owing him something.
Now he could scarcely remember a day where he didn't introduce himself in terms that mortals and lesser demons alike could comprehend, he was the many faced hunger after all, the being with a thousand thousand names, even if only two were ever used.
