Casually bringing back this old post since I am really beginning to think about it more. Think it would really illustrate how Tony is the ring leader in all of this, using his subjects as personal pets to go out and complete tasks that he ordered them to complete. Like puppets on strings.

What is a boss without his obedient minions?

Okay, I saw something that made me think a bit- While I do Imagine the wiseguys as a big dysfunctional family there are some other points to their relationship in the actual show that alters my personal imagination. For one, Yes I love including the found family trope on those cute babies but another factor that I have been thinking about for a long time now is-- Well, Tony is this big and menacing mafia boss, he holds great power over his minions so I think it would make the most sense if he saw his employees as nothing more but his own obedient pets.

Look, they're confined to him. Tony used subtle ways to break the will of his men, reducing them to being nothing more than submissive minions. And they sort of are in reality, they work for him and owe him their lives in exchange for their services. And what are pets without their much needed collars, to symbolize their ownership to Tony and reducing them to being nothing more than obedient puppies under his control, he is the big boss after all and a menacing character at that. He can easily turn his men into his personal slaves, using this tactic to display to his other rivals that he's not a man to be messed with as he managed to dehumanize his own employees. Going so far that they are destined to stay at Tony's side forever, their minds are blank, their brains do not function as they did in their previous lives. Every movement, every sentence, every command is ordered by Tony. Like Puppets on strings. They dance for Tony's enjoyment.

They're a crime organisation so of course it's not gonna be filled with kittens and flowers. Don't except to be treated like one of the family that easily. First you're gonna have to learn how to obey.

Hi!

I just wanted to say thank you. Your ao3 fics inspired me to write fanfiction of the Springfield wiseguys myself. I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to show it to anyone, since it's an oc insert and kinda self indulgent, but the process of writing and exploring the characters in itself has brought me great joy. I hope to see more of your writing in the future :-)

What are your favorite episodes of The Simpsons?

Oooh! I love getting these kinds of questions. I myself can't choose between even one, I have several, mega ton lots of episodes spanning across all seasons. One favorite episode for each season. But my all time favorites! MY NEVER DYING LOVE FOR THESE EPISODES The ones that I never get tired of rewatching over and over are --

"Kamp Krusty" - Season 4, episode 1 "Pixelated and afraid" - Season 33, episode 12 "Wild Barts can't be broken" - Season 10, Episode 11 "Scuze me while I miss the sky" - Season 14, Episode 16 "How I spent my Strummer vacation" - Season 14, episode 2 and of course "Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk" - Season 3, Episode 11.

Do you have any headcanons for Legs x Louie?

Mm-- Not really, I do headcanon that whenever they're cuddling or sleeping in bed that Louie is the small spoon and Legs the bigger one.

Call me crazy but Louie definitely seems like the clingy type to me so I feel like he would be super touchy with Legs, always craving hugs and cuddles.

Woah I just thought about an idea and I just wanna share it using Anon Like you know fit-fat Tony-- what about Fat Tony he did die right, like about fanfic where Legs and Louie and some of the original Goons meet their dead boss Fat Tony it'll be emotional like Louie always wanna please their boss Fat Tony so when Tony died it would hits badly for him like Legs try to comfort his friend but also in a rough time as Tony was their childhood friend bestie- I mean he is usually calm right? but how about he lost that cold persona and just breakdown at the death of their dearest friend and what about Michael? not really sure about him but I know it would be very emotional like losing his father I mean he already lost his mother so it would become so hard for him I mean quickly replacing Fat Tony with his identical cousin Fit-Fat Tony must be shocking to Legs and Louie and especially Michael I mean losing your father and meeting his identical cousin I'm just ranting- anyways love ya account

Mm, Mm, I see your point. No I definitely did not feel okay when I found out that the original fat tony had been replaced by-- you know, an identical lookalike. Like that didn't make much sense. Now thinking about that in the plot type of way, I think it would have been ridiculous to both Louie and Legs that Tony's cousin just decided to replace him. In the last scene of "Donnie Fatso", Fit Tony was shown to shake hands with Louie, having managed to gain their trust most likely because he was Fat tony's direct cousin and with that family.

Especially to the two hit-men who spent their whole childhood growing up with Tony and now they were just supposed to be pretend that Fit-fat tony was in actually the original Tony just for the sake of the mob business. Heck nah, they'd riot.

Then there's Michael, Tony was basically the last one he had on his own family so I imagine his death would take a serious mental toll on him. He likely locked himself in his room, not wanting anyone to find him and just trying to cope with the death of both his parents now.

Finally the mob get another appearance in an episode. And they just had a centric episode, It felt like "Saints of Springfield" was like a whole year ago.

Love how Tony just decided to screw with Krusty like that Also, Tony somehow managing to get the elephant on his side is such an underappreciated joke

Don't see anybody talking bout this but in "A Made Maggie", In the ice ring when Johnny was revealed to be the itchy ice skater- Did he like? Does he know how to ice skate?! And also I find it pretty hilarious how Johnny just went on the whole show with performing as Itchy. As if he was prepared for both the show and the assassination?! Talk about being dedicated.
