Shance [Dark!Shiro x Lance] (NSFW)

Finally! My contribution to @shanceweek! I’m sorry that it took me so long, I was hella busy. And since I missed the respective days, I took the liberty to write a fic for two days. This story here has Day 2 (Hero/Villain) and Day 3 (Confidence/Insecurity) combined. Somehow the story and my writing didn’t turn out well, but whatever. I just needed to contribute to Shance week with anything I was able to create while having little to no time granted. I love that ship so much. Have fun reading!

“Shiro, do you want to go out star-gazing with me?” Lance asked his boyfriend out of the blue, Shiro reacting as surprised as the question itself was.

“Uh,” he stuttered, loss for words, “star-gazing?”

“Yeah.” he replied as seriously and at the same time as casually as he did when he came up with his idea seconds prior.

It wasn’t like Lance didn’t have any reason behind his suggestion.

“After all our trainings and fights, I think it would be a good idea to star-gaze. I just want to be close to you. We couldn’t have much time for ourselves the past few weeks and now that things have evened out after your second captivation by Zarkon and our mission to rescue you, I’d like to… well,” Lance averted his eyes, a very faint blush painting his cheeks discreetly, “I missed you. And I was scared to death when I found out that you were captured by Zarkon again.” His expression saddened, reawakening the memories and feelings of those days in which Shiro had been taken hostage, Zarkon having demanded the five lions in return.

detective!keith discovers a HUGE human trafficking operation in JPN, and manages to get most of the people involved behind bars, and the victims to a shelter, but doesn’t realize that some of the ppl maneuvering the trafficking are part of the police force :Ua tldr lance ends up from one bad place into another, this being in the arms of Shiro, a cop working for the Underground/mafia/yakuza/etc who chooses to keep him. It’s an added bonus for Shiro when he finds out Lance doesn’t understand JPN so it makes keeping him hidden away that much easier.

obv poor keith has no idea what’s going on but he’s nosy and suspish so he ends up involved more than he should, and while shiro’s thinks of Keith like a lil bro, he’s not gonna let Keith snoop around as he likes >:U

“Lance, look out!” Keith’s voice rang as the room around the Altean prince started to come down. Lance was frozen as he watched a part of the roof came closer when he was shoved out of the way. He slammed into the wall, out of the way and he could feel something hovering over him. He opened his eyes and looked up to see golden eyes looking back down at him. Galra golden eyes. He pressed himself closer to the wall and tried to reach his Bayard, when he hesitated. The person on top of him was human. He had black hair cropped short but white fringe hanging in front of his forehead. The scar on his nose was so prominent on his face. He noticed that his left arm was made of metal. It was nothing like Sendak’s arm, it was sleeker, minus the claws it had. Noticing the prince’s attention, the human looked down at him and gave him a smirk, revealing the fangs he had.

“Can’t have his highness getting hurt now can we?”

Keeping Promises- Shance Week Day 7

‘He’s in his room. Guards are switching in 2 minutes, go now’

When that text came through, Lance threw his covers off and pulled on his blue high-tops. He looked across the room where Hunk was snoring away. He had to remember to get back before Hunk woke up. He already suspected something and honestly, he loved Hunk, but the guy could not keep a secret. He snuck out of his room, keeping his ears open for the guards. He was able to evade the guards all the way to the teacher areas. He put in the lock code and entered the building quietly. He didn’t spot anyone in the hallways, and quickly sprinted to the door he need.

He knocked on the door, and looked over his shoulder, hoping he didn’t alert anyone. The door opened and on other side, Takeshi Shirogane looked down at his boyfriend in surprise.

“Lance? What are- get in here.” He pulled the student in, before making sure no one had seen him.

Lance couldn’t help but smile at Shiro’s caution. When he got the news that he’d be going on the Kerberos mission, Shiro was moved to the teacher barracks, despite him only really being at a graduate student status.

“Lance, what are you doing here? You could have been caught.”

Lance wrapped his arms around Shiro’s neck and looked up sweetly at his boyfriend. “Come on, I may be a cargo piolet but I have pretty good grades at stealth.”

Shanceweek Day four AU (WWII)

Tears fell onto the parchment, this was a nightmare. It had to be.

His love. Captured. Basically dead, the note read.

“Shiro…”

Its been weeks, Lance could hardly sleep, the stress was getting to him. He’s never felt so helpless in his life. His days were spent walking around his empty house. Lance would spend hours just standing at the doorway of Shiro’s bedroom. Tears silently rolling down his cheeks.

His life was empty, entirely pointless without Shiro.

Months rolled by.

And before he knew it, years.

Hope slowly slipped away.

Eventually a rope hung from the rafters. But he was too afraid to do anything other then stare.

Now, four years later. Lance stared at the folded flag that was given to him recently, the note with it told him to move on. That Shiro was dead.

His heart had shattered that day. What was the point anymore, if he had the guts, perhaps he could see his love once more.

The days passed on, Lance was just a shell.

His friends and family has given up on him, if he wasn’t going to move on with their help then he can on his own.

But one day a knock was heard at his door, strange, considering he doesn’t get visitors anymore.

Slowly Lance walked to the door, having hardly the energy to move around. He sighed and cracked opened the door.

“Hello?”

That was when time stopped.

“Sh-Shiro.”

Shiro opened the door and hugged Lance, “sorry I’m late.”

Lance was stunned, this… this wasn’t real.

“Shiro.”

Shiro held his face seeing his lover’s darkened eyes and sunken face, “oh Lance, and here I thought I looked awful. Haven’t you been taking care of yourself?”

Lance’s bottom lip trembled, “they… they said you were dead.”

Shiro captured the younger man’s lips, “shhh, not killed. Only…. Captured.”

That was when Lance noticed the metal arm. “Shiro, what happened?”

Shiro stepped inside the house and shut the door, “things happened Lance, things I can’t quit remember. It’s all hazy. ”

Lance lifted his hand, and touched his lover’s check, seeing Shiro’s scrunched up face, ‘he’s real. He’s actually here’

Noticing Shiro’s face scrunch up in thought he stroked his cheek, “shh, don’t stress yourself. You’re here now, and thats all that matters… I love you.”

Shiro smiled, kissing Lance, “I love you too.”

Lance finally felt warmth in his heart once more, after so many years of nothing but cold, “I’ve missed you so much.”

“I’ve missed you too my love. I’m so sorry I was gone for so long.”

Lance buried his head into Shiro’s chest and shook his head.

Now, they can finally start to heal.

Day Seven: Pitch Black, Pale Blue

The first of many glances occurs after Shiro stirs awake on a makeshift cot, far away from the Garrison’s cold examination table. For a brief second, dark gray eyes finding blue ones sheepishly after gathering some clothes and easing exhaustedly into a small lavatory. It’s privacy he wants to afford himself, especially after being put under by people he thought he could trust.

At first, other than Keith, these strangers created a tension in Shiro’s back that stiffened his shoulders and make his stomach churn. They aren’t the Galra, by no means, far from it, and he tells himself in the dimly lit bathroom as the water runs, he’s safe.
