And btw I'm not saying this because I'm a hater and I want to gatekeep I have strong feelings about Choices Matter type games for things unrelated to romance but I also really enjoy romances in plot-heavy stories and I literally just want them to be better than they are. Because as it stands even the best ones are kind of bad.

Maybe controversial but I think if you're going to die on the hill that you want a game where your Choices Have Impacts then it should be significantly harder to romance most characters. I do not think it should be the default that if you have a high enough friendship number that a character will immediately want to date you I think if you have made choices that would make your character and your romance option incompatible in the long term they should be able to choose not to date you depending on how much this suits them as characters. They should be able to break up with you for reasons other than Number Go Down. I genuinely dislike most video game romances I do not find it fun or rewarding to engage with them when I feel like it's just a given that they'll want me if I just pick the obvious correct dialogue choices. I don't want my companions to mindlessly throw themselves at me I want to feel like my progression in any aspect of a video game is unique and earned

Alarming how many people who are otherwise opposed to stuff like KOSA are in favor of a legal tiktok ban because they hate tiktok and think it has caused a lot of bad things. Like. I think if people stopped using tiktok that would be a good thing too but like you understand how the government banning a social media platform because it platforms ideas that they do not like would be an unequivocally extremely bad thing and worse precedent to set right. OK KO was not a very good show but far be it from me to say the story was lacking in an episodic children's cartoon which kind of had no reason to have a Plot in the first place. It was cute but any adult who watched it 100% only did it because they were attracted to that snake guy

I am very passionate about cooking and I am passionate about feeding people and nutrition and if I could make good enough money off of it I would love to be a career cook in soup kitchens for the rest of my life. Unfortunately I will have to limit my soup kitchen experience to the odd day where I am able to volunteer. Sad

It fucks me up so bad every time I think about how many people my age and older just do not know how to cook like on the most basic level. Not even said judgmentally your education system and everyone who raised you legitimately failed you it makes me sad that so many people eat so badly because they don't even know enough to follow recipes. And since they've never done it they've never developed any cooking intuition or skills and think it's something they just default to being bad at and understandably do not want to waste the money and time on something they have no particular passion for the mechanics of. And so much online content about it is so inaccessible and focused on "fancy" high skill food and expensive ingredients instead of things it is practical for people who don't want to make that kind of thing and don't have special equipment to do. It's sad. I think everyone deserves to eat well...
