laying in bed rather than on the floor makes it seem like you have some respect for yourself. but the reason behind going just above the bare minimum makes it clear that the only reason you did that was so you wouldn't catch yourself "being depressed", i guess. which probably means you have less respect for yourself than i thought if you're in this much denial.

i wish i could give you a hug. but you probably wouldn't take it, saying that guys like you don't need it or whatever.
