moreover, this logic becomes even more frustrating when it comes to so-called trans-inclusionary spaces. in order to validate their "nonbinary lesbian" identity - which often comes from the place of internalized misogyny, since a "lesbian" in this context is often a cissexual individual who does not experience any GD - they throw trans women under the bus.
if you believe wittig's essay, in this case you must believe that trans women transition only in order to escape the "oppressor" class and go to the "oppressed" class. and trans lesbians by your definition can never be women anyway.
no.
being a woman is not just a class, it is a gender. gender is innate. trans people who live in extremely conservative countries without access to lgbt information still can - and do - experience gender dysphoria. gender = class only in the way that men are always going to be seen to be superior to women under patriarchy, but it does not make sense to insist that gender labels like “men” and “women” only exist as class distinctions, instead of biological components of human beings.
the only reason you "feel a disconnect with womanhood" is because you have internalised misogyny. get real with it.
there are debates going on online if being a lesbian can be a gender in itself and if being one is compatible with being a woman at all.
people's arguments? "i feel disconnected from womanhood, which is male-centric". there's an essay by monique wittig "one is not born a woman" where she states that lesbians "escaped" the woman label because they are not sexually exploited by men.
lesbians get stripped of the title of being a "real woman" by men as well - she is seen as something else, nonwoman, who is seen as predatory to "real women".
if this is the logic, then i'd like to ask a question: what have the feminists been fighting for for centuries? why is it acceptable in 2024 to define womanhood through male-created lenses? and to go as far as to apply male logic to what a lesbian is, as well.
how is it revolutionary to adapt a new identity and denounce being a woman instead of reshaping what womanhood is? this is seriously "i'm not like other girls" rhetoric painted in rainbow colours.

hi, i am Marharyta 🌸
i am an adult, lesbian, radfem and i advocate against transmisogyny as well
i believe gender is an innate, biological part of each person, but categories like "men" and "women" are classes as well. there is a distinction, and imo what people want to destroy is *classes* that oppress us
i believe you can be nonbinary if you have gender dysphoria, much like binary transsexual people. if you are a cissexual who just goes by different pronouns and demands access to spaces that are very much defined by being binary - such as lesbian spaces - then i do not have any respect for you
i am into shojosei + yuri + general artworks created by women. sadly i also like fe and some other games created by weirdos
