Medieval Toddler Outfits

Once again I got really envious about all those wonderful historical clothes I see for other Sims games. So I proudly present the child outfits from the Store’s ‘Humble’ set converted for toddlers.

Known issue: The meshes look weird around the shoulders when toddlers raise their arms to be picked up.

The dress is enabled for girls / everyday, formal

The ‘belted’ outfit is enabled for both genders, everyday, formal and outerwear.

The respective store clothes are not required.

Hi! I've been wondering something and thought I'd ask here in case someone else can use the help :) I've been trying to give my clothing four color channels but I can't figure out how, could you help me please? Thank you, I really admire what you do here ♥

Sure!

1. Makethe mask like you usually do, but make another color area (I usually use bluebut you can use whatever color) then save this as a dds and open it again.

2. Usethe magic wand tool to select the blue area:

3. UnderChannels, go to Alpha (if you cannot see channels, go to window > Channelsat the top)

4. Areathat is blue > white, all the rest > black:

5. Saveas dds as import as your mask into TRSW, you will need to select 4 Channels:

Robo Kitty CC Rescue

Robo Kitty’s has not been active for several years and now her site Kittyklan.com has been purged and everything has gone- except for her Mod The Sims Page here: http://modthesims.info/m/657501

I am a huge fan of Robo Kitty’s work and was extremely sad to see almost all of it disappear. So I have gathered together as much of her CC that was not already on MTS as I could and thanks to @baufive @thepathofnevermore @raptorcock @doka-chan and @simsmidgen combined with what I already had I think I have almost everything. It is difficult to tell though seeing as her site is inaccessible. I am definitely missing some of her T-Shirts that had logos.

I have gathered or created as many images as I could but these are by no means comprehensive. For example I only found one pattern image and as far as make-up and beards go I have no idea- I haven’t used that particular CC of hers so I don’t know what it’s supposed to look like so use your own judgement when downloading.

I have the greatest respect for T.O.U.s and would never break them without very careful consideration. As Robo Kitty has not been active since about 2012 when she was expecting a baby and as far as I can tell has not returned, plus the purging of her site, I have come to the conclusion that circumstances allow for this archiving of her stuff. Of course if Robo Kitty is still active elsewhere and I have missed it or she re-appears and is not happy with this upload of her stuff I will delete the files immediately. If anyone is still in contact with her please do let her know.

I have uploaded everything to Sims File Share and you have several options. I have put EVERYTHING in one file and then also separated them into categories to save you trawling through tons of files just to find a couple of hairs or objects or whatever. *Please note that the zipped files include some images so you have an idea of what you are downloading which makes them appear larger than they actually are so don’t be put off by the full size before you open it!*

Also do please note that her naughty books/ magazines come in a few flavours so it’s up to you what you choose to download- some of it is explicit.

Also the “junk” meshes for boys comes in medium or large (only download one version as they will conflict) and make sure you download the texture AND the mesh. They only work on Base Game underwear and trunks.

Mass Effect 3: Miranda Eventing Dress + Thane Pack

As requested by many an Anon and many a @pxls and @morganaplays

This is 4 pieces of custom content; A Drell headpiece (Male only for now), the Drell webbed fingers and Thane’s outfit from Mass Effect 3 for our handsome Assassin, and then Miranda’s Citadel DLC evening gown converted for YA females. Date night anyone?

Fair warning; I am terrible at dresses, skirts especially. This one has some weird assignments and clipping depending on the poses used, so anything too intensive might give you some weird pokey legs. For most poses, totally fine. It’s fully recolorable with 4 different texture presets.

Thane needs the Drell Skin done by the amazing Astraea, who unfortunately seems to have her blog/tumblr down. Thankfully I found a link to the mediafire download so if you don’t have it you can grab it here! To reiterate; I didn’t make the skin, I didn’t reupload it either, I was an internet detective and just made a headpiece and fingers to fit its textures. <3

I am so so so so happy how these turned out.

This download includes a set of Alliance Dogtags, under Accessories as a Necklace and a pair of Alliance Fatigue Pants that work with most skin-tight clothing. Some meshes will play nice, others will clip horribly. You’ll have to see which ones work and which ones don’t. Enjoy!

How to make DV’s corn fix a DR

DouglasVeiga’s made some custom ingredients/plants which are duplicates of existing ingredients from expansions or store sets. In this guide I will explain how to edit these files to essentially merge the two ingredients into one.

So you have Grandma’s canning station from the store and would like to have DV corn fix work as a DR rather than ending up with 2 corn ingredients in game.

To start with you will need s3pe, DV’s Corn fix, and Grandma’s canning station in order to have a corn to replace.

For editing the corn you will be editing your ccmerged file this should be located in your mods folder if however it is not, copy it from your DCBackup folder into your mods folder. If for some reason you can not locate your ccmerged package you can download Nona’s CCmerged package here. If you have made edits to any mod by adding these plants/ingredients to another mod you will need to make the edits in the mod that has your edits.

Okay lets get started.

please read everything before downloading!!

okay so here’s a very early version of my default replacement plants! i think i’ve ironed out all the problems, (hopefully)

first of all, this WILL conflict with any mod that alters the Plants.xml, including cinderellimouse’s Cooking Overhaul. these mods will technically work together, but you won’t get the custom tofu plant that comes with the cooking overhaul.

plants that are already in game may or may not change on startup, although all newly grown plants and autosoils will show the replaced meshes

now you’re welcome to just have fun with this till i release the final mod but if you’d be so kind, let me know if you have any issues with -

the harvestables, including when being used in cooking etc.

the plant textures for wilting, dead etc

any conflicts with other mods

any other problems

i’ve finished the replacements for the following plants, as well as made a replacement for the plot of dirt

apple (v2 only atm)

lettuce

potato

watermelon

bell pepper

mandrake (REQUIRES SUPERNATURAL)

installing the garden plot replacement is necessary for the plants to look right!!

i would reccomment only installing this if you have all the required expansions/store content. the final version will hopefully use a modified version of CCLoader so you can pick and choose what plants you want to install. 

if you DON’T have all the expansions but you really want to try this, send me a message and i’ll modify the xml for you :)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

the download link will take you to a folder with all the files. the files labelled with each plants’ name eg. “omedapixel_DefaultPlants_apple” contain the necessary meshes and textures for that plant. these files can go in your regular packages folder

“ccmerged” and “plantXML” must go in your overrides folder. ccmerged is the file that makes all store premium content work, and if you have your store content installed as packages you probably already have a ccmerged. you can safely replace it with this one. if you have your store content installed as s3packs then i’m not sure if this will work, but give it a go!
