utterly losing my mind that literally right as i was putting up our display for banned books week coming up in september, my boss got a call saying that the county higher ups have declared that we’re prohibited from saying “banned books” in association with any library programs or materials. “freedom to read” is okay apparently, but the phase “banned books” is, well, banned. if i tried to publish this scenario in a novel, my editor would probably send it back with a note saying that the irony is a bit too on the nose & that i need to tone it down a little. we have censored the discussion of censorship. i cannot handle how hilarious this is

What do you post?

I post any art I manage to finish, as well as fanfiction.

I plan to start writing and posting the book version of my comic/animation (TBD). My intention was to illustrate the comic and write the book along the way, but I now believe writing the book first would help write the script and plan the comic.

Can I DM you?

Short answer, yes. Long answer, not really. I'd prefer you send in asks, unless you find something needs to be private. Due to past experiences I don't like conversing with strangers on the internet privately.

What's your comic about?

It's very complex and hard to describe, with a main storyline and many side ones. Around 70+ fully developed characters that will all hopefully recieve a full short/side story. The goal is to have a character for each and every person to relate to in one way, and for there to be a decent amount of content on that character.

The main story is very much dystopia/group of misfits/magic/fantasy/etc. with a touch of sci-fi. Very helpful description, I know.
