Yes, we need to take better care of our planet. No, solar and wind and electric vehicles are not the help you think they are and we are no where near capable of getting rid of oil. No rational scientist who has researched the damage these industries are doing to our planet thinks this is the answer to saving it.
I was talking to my dad about renewable energy and he was like “the only problem with solar farms is they take up so much space.”
And it made me think about a city and how much sun exposure all the rooftops in a city get and…why not just make the city it’s own solar farm by putting solar panels on every rooftop?
The evidence of the payoff in Trump's case is based on whether that money came from an account earmarked for campaign funds. If that is proven to be true then it's a violation. There are many more charges to prove also. Whether Cohen lied to Congress is troubling and of course, it will be up to the Judge to accept Cohen's word on where the money came from to reimburse him. By the way, it wasn't a one-time check for reimbursement. There were several checks involved. A coverup of those payments is also troubling because paying off someone to be quiet is not illegal. Why was Trump trying to coverup the payment? Was he trying to keep it from his wife? Or was he not wanting the news to get out in the midst of a campaign? He says it never happened if that's believable because he's had affairs before. So he's calling Cohen a liar and everyone knows he's told some pretty tall tales.
Cohen was convicted in court of law for...lying. Who should we believe? A convicted liar or a man accused of the exact same thing as the convicted liar, who was already found guilty of it and said Trump had nothing to do with it at the time, then suddenly changed his testimony, proving he was either lying again or lying before. Either way, the case is solely based on the testimony of a convicted liar who was already found guilty of what he suddenly claims Trump did? WTF? This is a witch hunt just in time for campaigning. Same with the other charges he was indicted for. Biden and Clinton were both accused (and proved to be guilty of) the exact same thing but the court suddenly decided to go after Trump right before election season? Really? I don't know if any of them are guilty or if all of them are guilty but prosecuting only one side is outright corruption by government agencies and illegal in every way, shape, or form unless they immediately charge all of them.
It is wacky if you accept alternate viewpoints. Let me translate.
Green: ...so we should take more of their money and give it to people who didn’t earn just cause we feel bad for them.
Pale pink: ...no one should be allowed to have more than us just because. We want the same benefits without the years of hard work to get to the top.
Light blue: We call anything we don’t like a crime and we shouldn’t have to prove wrong-doing. It’s wrong cause we say so.
Royal Blue: But screw the minority kids getting shot in inner cities. We only care about the tiny percentage that we harmed in schools.
Dark Blue: But we don’t want to fix the problems that caused them to be homeless, like drug addiction and mental health, so we’ll just give them free needles and let them trash our cities. That’ll make everything better.
Brick Red: Are you not listening? No one gets to be rich! Just because!
Pale Green: No one should get to improve their lives through talent or sheer hard work. Also, God forbid that someone working more hours or in more dangerous conditions should earn more pay than someone not willing to do the same. Why aren’t we just paid to do nothing?
Teal Green: unless vaccines are involved. Then everyone who doesn’t do what the government says should die.
Red: but minority and special interest groups should totally get to.
Orange: Unless they make electric cars or claim to be environmentalists. Then it’s totally cool.
Brown: Because the government has done such an awesome job with the VA and Medicare. Just ask a senior or a veteran.
Gray: But the universities that are charging the exorbitant fees and the government run lending institutions aren’t the problem at all. We want everyone to attend so we can make sure they’re all indoctrinated and no one is allowed to think for themselves or disagree with us. On anything. Ever. Also degrees should have absolutely no benefit to actually getting a job, like they did before everyone got one just because.
