I rode a bike today. I used to ride my bike and take a bus to and from a job I had in Westwood but then I got hit by a car. - lol - Had a nice little Sunday after work. We don’t deliver mail on Sundays so the day is definitely shorter and I’m home early. I’ve been at the job about a month now and I’m getting better every day. I am really enjoying what I do. Got certified to drive a mail truck today! I was so nervous to even take the test and I’m sure I’ll be nervous when the actual time comes to drive it which I think will be tomorrow. - My cousin, once removed got my first cousin (their mom (had to google that, I just call them cousins)) skates as a birthday gift. I was too tired to skate yesterday but I wanted to go check them out on skates and my kiddo joined me. - They live next door to me and in the house I grew up in, there house is perfect to skate in. My siblings and I would skate in the dining room all of the time. Santa vaca! I walked 24,000 steps and over 10 miles yesterday. My doggies were tired so I soaked them and today they were fine but dayum! When I woke up this morning, my body was so sore. Mostly my left side. I carry my bag on the right and the mail in my left hand. - I thought about not skating but I’ve been skating consecutively for over a month (all of December) and I didn’t want to ruin the streak. Shadow day went well but my feet are beat! (All songs have “beat” in the lyrics) I didn’t think I’d be able to skate today but my feet like didn’t hurt while skating. I was sofa king tired so I didn’t do much. - I got a trash can for my front yard so people have somewhere in the middle of the block to throw their trash. I want to create a dog waste bag dispenser so people have no excuses for not picking up after their dogs. I have a neighbor who doesn’t pick up after their dog so I hope this will help but I feel like that’s just the kind of person they are. Had a good Christmas considering everything that’s going on. - We don’t celebrate on the 24th but I guess we started a new tradition with a duo call on midnight. We had a discord movie night on Christmas Day. My friend gifted me a Christmas scented candle from Bed Bath and Beyond and my sister gifted me this awesome Back and Body Hurts shirt. I also got a fancy chocolate gift basket including cookie butter! Very last minute I decided to make these coasters for my family and a few of my friends. I plan to make many many more.
