And this is my little sister Elise.” He said before bowing. “It’s nice to meet you, Kunimi.” He looked at the boy’s uniform with a curious look. “Hm, I don’t recognize that uniform.. what school do you go to?”

“That’s fair, I know someone who’s exactly the same way- although, he’s sixteen-” he tilts his head to the side, the inquiry had surprised him- Aoba Johsai was a private school and was pretty well known for it’s volleyball team, even given the nickname of ‘Seijoh’ but, if Daniel didn’t know it- it was preferable. He didn’t really like the whole plant connotation, to be entirely honest... “It’s nice to meet you, as for my uniform, I go to Aoba Johsai, it’s a private school. What school do you go to?” He’s merely curious, now, as if he did go to any school Kunimi knew, he wasn’t wearing the uniform for it.

“I’m not a little kid anymore Daniel!” Elise said with a pout.

“You’re not even ten yet, you most definitely are a kid. Now don’t go running off like that, I mean it.”

“Oh, so she runs away often? I think she might have mistaken me for my...parent and came over because of that.” He tilted his head to the side, wondering if that’s why he was approached as despite wearing the Seijoh uniform, he did still get mistaken for his mother often enough to be weird. He wished he could cut his hair but he looked like absolute shit with short hair, so he really couldn’t. His parents cared about his aesthetic. “It’s alright though, she’s really not a bother at all.”

“Oh. I forgot, my name is Kunimi...Kunimi Akira.” With that, he gave the other a bow, mostly out of being polite more than anything as he really was polite at his core, even if his resting bitch face implied he was a bit of an asshole. Well, he wasn't the nicest but he was polite, at least- to reword that. No need to be rude to strangers.

The little girl stared up at him and tilted her head. “Are you sure? Ya don’t really look like one.”

“Elise!” A redheaded boy came running up and picked the little girl up. “I told you not to run off like that! I’m sorry man, she wasn’t causing you trouble, was she?”

“Sometimes I wish I was one, but no, I’m a guy. I just look like my mom.” He shrugged, he didn’t really mind the mistake - after all, this was a little girl, not a creepy guy on the train like...they usually were. He was just glad he wasn’t called his mother’s name again, as if he was mistaken for a girl, he’d rather be a girl Kunimi than his mom. It was always weird to be mistaken for your mother.

As soon as the other guy had ran up and picked up the little girl, he felt himself sigh in relief, he wasn’t one to leave a kid alone if they had nobody around them and really, he was worried about her even if his amazing poker face didn’t show it. “It’s no problem, she didn’t bother me at all.” Adjusting the strap of his bag that contained his volleyball uniform, Kunimi managed an awkward smile as to convince the other that the little girl hadn’t bothered him. His resting bitch face doesn’t make things believable.

Kunimi was used to being on some level, confused for his mother or any female, as while he despised admitting it, his facial features leaned towards feminine, long eyelashes- and as everyone liked pointing out, delicate features. He didn’t mind the mistake, sure, but it was odd for someone as tall as him to be mistaken for a female, since most girls don’t tower over others- but, it was better to correct the mistake early, or he’d have to face some whining.

“...You know I’m a guy, right?” Most likely not, considering the other called him a girl.
