there's this concensus I've seen around aspecs and smut and I'm curious. so

don't like smut = avoid it, filter it out, skip smutty scenes in bigger stories etc

don't mind it = if it's like part of a long fic you're reading, for example, but you wouldn't necessarily seek it out on your own

actively chooses = willingly reading or looking up smut fics for the purpose of smut

if you wanna elaborate on anything (for example ik it's like a common joke that aces like particularly raunchy or kinky smut but i ran out of poll options to check these specifics) please go right ahead!

and of course, reblog to reach more people if you can!

i posted this on twitter a while back but I’ll post my theory here: the reason they're remodeling the bus is to turn it into a ship to explore an L Corp facility that's situated in the great sea (or whatever it's called) which would make sense since it’s gonna be ishmael’s chapter.  speaking of which, I wonder how they’re going to show her relationship with the sailors? or would they just show her relationship with queequeg (which is arguably book ishmael’s most important relationship.) i’ll do more analysis later.

that fanart @strobbylemonade got me thinking, like. ishmael had everything taken from her bc of circumstances out of her control. imo, her rage isn't directed outward but inwards, towards herself for being the sole survivor. she mentions in canto iv that every night she repeats to herself her wish - and what else could her wish be but to find survivors of her crew? bc that's her form of revenge against the monster that took everything from her. there's nothing else she can do against moby dick. moby dick is a force of nature - perhaps even beyond nature. moby dick is fate itself. moby dick is the cruel universal force that steals everything without rhyme or reason

the only revenge ishmael can take is to make a miracle happen. by defying the cold, hard fact that moby dick killed those she cared about.

(she can't look directly at the truth. if she does, she might stop moving towards the delusion she's crafted)

and then comes limbus company, promising the miracle she's chased ever since her fateful journey. they promise her what can't be attained, and she cannot help but reach out towards the star they're promising her - even if she's scorched into someone unrecognizable

Liu Ismael and Liu Gregor go eat noodles together pretty often. Gregor hasn't eaten noodles ever since him being drafted to the smoke war so Ismael makes sure to visit different places for Gregor to try different noodles

Uhm I'm really awkward and haven't posted in a long time. I was hesitant about making a gofundme since it has my name on it, but my family and I really need help for our dog. I also have never made a fundraiser or asked for donations before so I apologize if its all over the place or sounds too desperate (its bc i am dkfjdkdb) (⁠●⁠´⁠⌓⁠`⁠●⁠)

Long story short, my dog tore her ACL and her surgery costs more than me and my family can manage right now. This would only cover the costs of the surgery itself and not any additional blood work or x-rays. Any amount is appreciated, thank you for taking your time to read it.

Hey guys,

I’ll make this short. Today a racist idiot burned our car completely. It can only be sold for scrap because the motor, brain and sensors are fried.

We’re a family of black latine immigrants. we did not get any stimulus checks. I was forced to drop out cause I can’t pay for college so I’m using my shop to sustain my family, and without a car this is just so, so much more difficult.
