3 dreams i had last night

1) i was on a train that was going at incredibly high speeds. It was a sleeper train but it didn’t have compartments, just very skinny beds lining the carriage, out in the open. It was a very modern and sleek interior. There were a few people sleeping there. I went to the very end of the last carriage in the train and as we went around a bend i was tossed around because we were going so fast.

2) i was walking on a forest path in a country where i had never been before, understood by me to be the place i had travelled to by train, even though the dream was separate. I had a rolling suitcase with me. I walked past an enclosure that had horses and a person who was in there taking care of them. I was then chased for a bit by a large, ostrich-like bird. I ended up off the path, in the actual forest, where I found the ground covered in things that were half-mushroom, half-flower, large and deep red with a piston in the centre. As I was walking, looking at these things, I found that the mushroom-flowers were suddenly covered by a layer of tulle-like fabric, through which their redness glowed and pulsed. When I walked on top of the fabric, pressing down on it, the mushroom-flowers broke through.

3) i was in a large abandoned art studio, which had a bunch of supplies lying around, shelves filled with easels and mannequins. There were some mysterious fabrics - one was white and lacey, and gave an iridescent sheen to whatever was underneath it. Another had a print featuring a lot of different eyes in a graphic style. I did not know where these fabrics had come from; I found them in my apartment. My girlfriend acted strange and avoidant when I asked her where they had come from. Eventually, it came out that she had been pressured by a door-to-door salesman of fabrics to purchase these as samples, and didn’t want to tell me because she was embarrassed. I wasn’t angry. I decided to make a dress for her out of the white, lacey, iridescent fabric. I laid it out on the concrete floor of the art studio and asked her to lie down on it so I could draw around her to create a pattern.
