In an area in Egypt near the border between Egypt and Israel is a dry tree that appears to be dead, but scientists say it is "resting". In 2010, a case was reported where this tree had "revived" a bird that had died (reason for the bird's death: it had fallen from the sky due to some collision). Another case was in 1000 a.c. when a slave was running away from his king when he tripped over the tree and immediately died, no one knows for sure how it happened, but his bones are still there as if he had died a short time ago.

It is not know for sure what this tree can do, but it is already being watched for further analysis.
