I had a dream I was at a Brandon Sanderson event to promote the new secret project.

There were clues hidden about and if one person found a clue with a certain number he would tell that person a small spoiler about what would be in the book.

I found it. I give him the clue. He gave me a paper and it said

Thomas the Tank Engine will be in the secret project...

I died laughing. Brandon couldn't stop laughing. I had taken an oath to not reveal that info till the book was out for at least 24 hours. I looked at a sea of people jealous of me, my own partner green with envy. I couldn't stop laughing.

And all I could think was. They think I know something ground breaking and all I know is that Thomas the Tank Engine is in the cosmere.

Leshwi smiled. He grinned back, a full-toothed grin, even while she was draining away his life.

Kaladin forced out a smile as he closed his eyes and leaned his head back, trying to recapture the wondrous feeling of taking to the air those first few times.

Syl fell in beside him, glaring at the Pursuer in a perfect mimic of his posture. Then, together, they smiled as Kaladin pulled out his scalpel.

Kaladin found himself smiling.

“Well, you do hate it when people waste time,” Kaladin said, grinning.
