There's something so compelling to me about the idea of two people who have literally, either by deliberate intent or the tragic circumstances of war, been bred to destroy each other finding friendship. Maybe even something more. That's probably why Jetko clicks with me the way it does. Like yeah, it all falls apart the moment they have to face the reality they live in, but for that one moment, perhaps more, it was there.
