Ist wichtig :)

Adam hat keine Ahnung, was Vincent von ihm will, aber wenn es wichtig :) ist, wird er sich heute wohl doch nochmal von der Couch bewegen, auch wenn er das eigentlich nicht mehr vorhatte.

Langsam setzt er sich auf, bedacht darauf, nicht gegen Dings‘ Kissen zu stoßen, auf dem sie friedlich vor sich hindöst. Er schafft es, schleicht in den Flur und öffnet geräuschlos die Haustür.

Er zieht zuerst einen Werbeflyer aus seinem Briefkasten und muss daran denken, wie oft Leo ihm schon sein Etikettiergerät angeboten hat, weil sein provisorisches Keine Werbung Post-It immer wieder wegflattert. Irgendwann mal, ja, danke, ich komm drauf zurück. Und dann vergisst er es doch wieder.

Er entdeckt den wichtigen :) Umschlag, versendet aus Słubice und ein Lächeln schleicht sich auf seine Lippen. Den Werbeflyer lässt er einfach liegen, verzieht sich mit dem Brief zurück ins Wohnzimmer.

Dings ist aufgewacht, balanciert gerade über die Lehne seiner Couch und miaut leise, als er sich hinsetzt. Adam reißt den Umschlag auf und spürt, wie seine Katze hinter ihm auf und ab wandert, neugierig über seine Schulter lugt, als er zwei Blätter herauszieht. Auf dem ersten steht ein kurzer Text in Vincents vertrauter Handschrift.

Lieber Adam,

ich wünsche dir einen fantastischen ersten National Cat Lady Day mit Dings!

Wir (!) haben Dir da eine Kleinigkeit gemalt, vielleicht schafft es das Bild ja an deinen Kühlschrank, ganz so, wie es sich für eine Mutti wie dich gehört.

Ich bin stolz auf dich und freue mich schon darauf, euch bald wiederzusehen!

Adam blinzelt sich eine Träne aus dem Augenwinkel, atmet zittrig ein und wieder aus.

Dann spürt er, wie Dings noch einmal gegen seinen Hinterkopf stupst und wie ihre Pfoten in seine Haare wandern, sie sich hochdrückt. Adam schnaubt.

„Guck mal!“, sagt er und hält den Brief ein wenig höher, damit Dings, die jetzt über seinen Kopf lugt, ihn besser sehen kann.

„Von Vincent“, flüstert er und zieht langsam die zweite Seite hervor. Miau sagt Dings und er lächelt breit.

„Von dir?“, sagt er und tastet hinter sich nach Dings, ohne den Blick von dem Bild abzuwenden, krault durch ihr dunkles Fell. Sie schnurrt leise und drückt ihre weichen Pfoten noch doller in seine Haare. Es kitzelt auf seiner Kopfhaut.

„Dann müssen wir jetzt auch was für Vincents Kühlschrank machen, oder?“ Dings lehnt den Kopf gegen seine Hand, schnurrt noch lauter, was Adam als eindeutiges Ja auffasst.

Er lässt von ihr ab, angelt nach seinem Handy und wählt Vincents Nummer.
