I heard reference to something about how all anime are required to have good looking cabbage because of That One Time. So simply looking up "anime cabbage" I found the source.

Some harem anime way back in the day had an episode where the characters cooked, and they animated cabbage so terribly like this it left a bad mark on the anime community forever. Apparently this is part of the reason why all food usually looks good in anime, even moreso than the regular show sometimes. With cabbage being especially well drawn.

And high quality or low quality cabbage is sometimes referenced.

I learned of this because the most recent Hologra episode has noel eating cabbage, tearing apart a fine quality cabbage into two low poly halves.

I think a lot about that Fruits Basket story where the onigiri (rice ball) thinks its plain and bad with nothing special about it

but everyone else actually admires it because of the delicious plum on its back that it can’t see

anyway, I’m going on a second date with a girl soon and couldn’t help but think “Why would she want to keep going out with me?? I’m like, so weird and a little crazy.”

but then I remembered that there is also a plum on my back that I can’t see and that people often like others for reasons we don’t recognize in ourselves. Be kind to yourself. There’s always something good about someone– however little we remember it.

Really I got so many former friends who think talking about current events is "being negative!" ...But maybe that's why they are former friends, I can't be friends with people that starry eyed.

Makes me feel guilty for living in the US and makes me feel my problems are trivial. I live such a comfortable life in the US and people in Palestine can't even sleep due to bombings. Some people I know need to seriously be humbled.
