Gotta be honest, I’m laughing every time I see one of those posts that talk about when Luke says “I didn’t think you’d give them to Grover,” with like the most hurt in his eyes imaginable because everyone is only ever talking about how he regrets hurting one of his oldest friends and I GET that. I do. It is very sad and shows off the actors skill

BUT like from Percy’s perspective Luke basically just said, “I can’t believe you would give the death shoes I gave you to kill you to my best friend! Like ow bro,” and then asked Percy to join him in the same breath

Like Percy might not have noticed because he’s the kind of guy to be like, “Oh wait, oh no, I DID give my best friend death shoes!” But STILL

ngl clarisse's scream from pjo ep2 HAUNTS me. like yeah she's a bully, yeah she doesn't treat percy right, if she were to attack him again with that murderous intent i would be content to see percy destroy that weapon a million times over to protect himself. but also it just gets me how that electric spear is the ONLY thing she likely has of her father, the ONLY token of recognition she has of her worth, the only symbol of pride. dior had exactly 10 minutes of screentime to communicate the absolute depth of clarisse developed over 5 fucking books and she literally changed lives. what a fucking icon

shoutout to dior goodjohn's scream of anguish when percy broke clarisse's spear in 1x02. it was so striking from a character who has otherwise been very cold and controlled. she made it instantly clear that the spear was something special to her and the knowledge that it was a gift from her father places a whole new perspective on her bullying. she too, like luke, is pursuing her own form of ruthless glory. and she, like percy, is a child suffering from her father's neglect, desperate for recognition. a tiny moment but very impactful.

just finished season two of heartstopper and you guys have no idea how i felt when i heard the words asexual and aromantic and how i related to everything isaac went through: the confusion, the constant feeling that something is wrong with you because you don't feel the same as people your age, society's obsession with relationships and isaac's burst of anger because he felt like the group only cared about the romantic aspect of his life as if it's the most important one... i'm so so grateful to alice and the show for the aroace representation and i can't wait to see more of isaac's journey in the next seasons because this one made me feel seen and valid and i actually teared up a couple of times especially when he picked up the ace book from the library in the final episode :,) ALSO can we talk about how iconic it was to use "crush culture" by conan gray when that man was explaining the meaning behind his artwork to isaac? i was literally smiling from ear to ear

Linda in S3 finding out that Sara was dating August behind everyone's backs while knowing the whole time that he was the one who leaked Wilmon's sex tape, and now her children aren't speaking and Sara has left the Manor House after all of her friendships basically imploded in the fallout, and meanwhile the crown prince of Sweden just publicly came out to the whole country by announcing his involvement with her son who apparently is still deeply in love with said prince even though she thought he was together with Marcus and oh shit what is she gonna tell her friend, but oops no time to worry about that now because back to Sara who has taken it upon herself to call the cops on August, possibly triggering a national or at least royal scandal involving drugs, the crown prince, his cousin and her ex-husband whose drugs Simon stole to sell at school and oh that boy is dead dead:
