*62/100 days of productivity*
19.3.16// yeah my desk is a mess. Going through a lot of stuff and doing a mind map on Canetti’s main Topics. And I’m realizing that, after all, I like this fellow.
March 13, 2021 This will be a busy but (hopefully) pleasant weekend of Latin studying, English portfolio work, and Persian Wars note-making. Today has started well, with an excursion to my favourite local café (I had a lovely matcha latte). Wishing you all cheer and comfort! Incidentally, the book on the right is Agamben’s The Open, an Erasmus-like epigraphic collection of philosophies on the coterminous existence of humans and animals. It is excellent so far — clear and trenchant.
Goodmorging dear people on tumblr. It’s Monday, so a new week has started with new opportunities. I set my alarm quite early but stayed way too long in bed. Oh well, I’ve made a outlay for the introduction to my thesis and been writing an alinea. So, I’ve already been somewhat productive :p Later today I’ll be going to uni. I’ve started a new habit of walking from the trainstation to the campus. It’s a half an hour walk, which is good for the mind and body and I avoid public transportation in these times of a pandemic. But first, lunch!
25.01.2017 – Working on some dissertation reading for my proposal due mid-term. The Geography tripos at Cambridge requires you to submit a proposal, risk assessment and ethics form in your second year, (typically) conduct your research over the summer straddling second and third year, and analyse and write up your research in third year - super early compared to most other degrees here! But it’s something I’m so loving, and I’ve had two supervisions for my dissertation thus far, both of which have been exactly what I hoped for in Cambridge when I applied. V exciting!!
Studied from bed today because I have some mild covid symptoms 😬 yikes (hopefully it's nothing but I'm self-isolating until I can be sure)
What is the best thing about studyblr?
The community — I've only been here a couple of days but everyone has been so nice and encouraging!! There are also so many resources and so much helpful advice out there.
It smells like fall! I’ve been loving studying outside recently. I had a productive but tiring day and I’m still not done for the night :’( I’ve been doing my lit. homework alll dayyyy, which i mean isnt awful cause its one of my favorite classes.
Day 2 of Studyblr Community Challenge
Prompt: explain your studyblr URL!
ooo this is a fun one! So my url is a lyric from the song Soldier, Poet, King by The Oh Hello’s. It’s off of their album Dear Wormwood which is a fantastic album and maybe my favorite album of all time, each song is written like its a letter to the speakers abuser. It’s absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend it.
When I was making my studyblr I was absolutely obsessed with this song and I decided to go with it for my url because I was having a hard time picking a study related url.
