The two of them are insanely competitive with each other. They would have loud, kinda obnoxious tournaments when they played at the Arcade as kids. D&D isn't even a competitive game, but the party would all get seriously invested/overwhelmed with the drama and energy the two of them playing together could create.

Board games are where this really shines, though. No one is willing to play any form of board game when both of them are involved. Full-blown arguments erupt, but it doesn't actually harm their relationship at all. They love being competitive with each other, even if sometimes they need a day or two to cool off.

Watching ST1 and surprised by just how much Nancy lies. She lies even when she has no reason to, like when she's hanging out with Steve and his friends and wants to leave, she could have easily said something like "I need to do something" or "I'm tired" but she made up some excuse about her mom. When asking Barb's mom about Barb, she could have easily told her she was worried but she didn't. Girl just lies like it's second nature to her.
