My personal belief on the subject is that you don’t set a character up as incredibly loyal through all kinds of turmoil and conflict, have her build a strong emotional bond with someone, and then… not have her being able to put up with emotional/physical obstacles to stand by him when he needs her. like that would be a total waste of that part of her character. Lexi isn’t the kind of person whose friendship/loyalty is easy to gain or easy to lose

Fez and Lexi built the foundation of their relationship in season 2. They’ve spend hours and hours talking to each other, asking each other questions and opening up about their dreams and wishes. They’ve felt a connection they’ve never felt with anyone before. Whatever is gonna happen with them in season 3 it will be build on this solid foundation. No one can take that away cause it is just between them.

“i just don’t understand why we’re in here for!” anastasia wasn’t one to raise her voice to authority figures, but the fact that she would have to miss one of the lessons she was looking forward to the most because of a misunderstanding was just over-the-top frustrating for her. “you can’t leave us here!” she shouted once more, but the supervisor that had put them in that locked room was already gone. “we have to do something.” she couldn’t truly read her company’s expression, but hopefully she was just as exasperated so she could help sort the whole thing out.

i’m honestly devastated with yesterday’s episode. i’d read the leaks so i sort of knew what was coming, i just never expected it to hit me so hard?? 

lexi’s play was just amazing and i’m so f*cking proud of her, that’s my girl BUT FUCKKKK, her dedicating the play to fez that couldn’t make it just DESTROYED ME. they really had a chance and i don’t know if i’m an idiot to think that they still have a chance? because ugh i know it’s just a tv show but what they have is actually so magical. their love is what they deserve as characters :(( fez really had the chance to have something pure and wholesome in his life!!! lexi would be so good to him and would take care of him!!! HE DESERVES THAT AND LEXI DESERVES TO BE LOVED AND CHERISHED AND I JUST KNOW FEZCO WOULD BE SO SWEET AND SUCH A GREAT BOYFRIEND AND I CAN’T BELIVE WE’VE BEEN ROBBED AND WE HAVE TO WAIT TIL 2024 TO GET ANSWERS I’M SHATTERED

“ i’m not, i promise ! “ she laughed. “ may be a stone cold bitch, but i cry at pain and sad movies all the same. it’s kind of my kryptonite. “ though the jokes stopped and the laughter stopped once she saw the look on naomi’s face. “ hey, hey ! “ she whispered, stroking her hair. gigi’s deep brown eyes only widened when she saw tears fall down the other’s cheeks. it was then that she learned that her job tonight wasn’t to think, it was to just be there, giving optimism when the once-chipper brunette could no longer be an endless source of it. “ shh, shh, it’s okay. we’re gonna find him, okay ? “ she reassured, completely ignoring the fact that she and hana searched the streets for two hours after the piercing. whatever naomi didn’t know couldn’t hurt her. inching down to naomi’s chest, she laid her head beside it, cuddling up in a ball next to her. “ just sleep, okay ? you need to sleep. “ she whispered with a yawn.

it helped tremendously to have her by her side. it was one of those moments that, even though you could feel yourself drowning, you didn’t want to let go. her chest was tightening up, anxiety filling it almost completely but somehow gigi’s words and the intimacy they’d reached allowed the tears to keep rolling, somehow allowing the distress and all of the pain to subside, her tiredness replacing the restraint. “will you stay with me?” she meant that in a lot of different ways, but in that moment she only needed to know that she wouldn’t have to wake up all alone in a few hours. the way the brunette could bring her peace was a surprise even to naomi.

on days like these, where she sat above the world in a near-empty plane in a rare occurrence of ‘rich people shit’, lydia found herself to be somewhat surprised. she guessed that no amount of time in victoria of all places could get you prepared for a thing like this. it almost made her childlike. “ how much longer ? “ she whispered in awe, gazing out her window at the lights below. she almost let herself be, before she caught herself. clearing her throat, she decided to change the topic. “ i’ve decided that on this trip, there’ll be no funny business from me. “ she said, returning to her typical monotonous snark. “ and if there is funny business, it won’t be from me. “ she amended her statement by adding. “ maybe. “ 

daniel loved flying, watching the clouds in silence while enjoying a cup of coffee was his definition of absolute peace. he was doing exactly that when his daughter’s voice interrupted him. “i think we’ll get there in about forty-five minutes, dee” he had no idea, actually, but nobody from his team corrected him, so he couldn’t have been that off. “is that so?” a sly smile lighting up his face now, truly surprised by his daughter’s choice of words. “wanna bet on it?”

with a simple stroke of her daughter’s blonde hair, emma tried to feel a connection between the young woman’s present day with the older blonde’s past. she remembered how fickle her early-twenties were, and how much pressure was on her to ‘stay on top of her looks in her peak’, whatever that meant. she wasn’t surprised that kind of pressure was passed down to her flesh and blood. “ look like what ? a person who’s been working her ass off all year to get to where she is ? a person more than capable of taking whatever those assholes dish out ? my god, tasia, you’re smart, skinny, and blonde. you look like a pop star already. if people find that kind of effort ridiculous, they’re fucking stupid. “ she explained. if emma were to be honest with herself, she wished someone would have told her this when she was tasia’s age. she couldn’t change the past, nor who or what she did, but at least being able to tell her ambitious, talented kid to get a grip was her consolation prize.

as per usual, mom was right, and she had no choice but to break into a smile. it was so tough, though. most of the time she felt like the whole world was against her, and even when she’d manage to achieve things she’d always dreamed off, the feeling felt too heavy to carry: she would always fall short in comparison. but mom’s words of encouragement helped, to remind her that in spite of what her head would constantly convince her of, her hard work was undeniable. “i hope they’re not stupid then.” she sighed, the tension on hey body releasing through a laugh. “what are you gonna do, though? while i’m gone i mean, since i’ll be busy most of the day.” the last thing she wanted was for her mother to find it all boring and underwhelming.

God I can’t stop thinking about that scene of Fez hunched over the sink, just totally overwhelmed by everything happening. Like Faye and Ash had the benefit of knowing SOMETHING was up. But for Fez this was supposed to be Lexi’s night. Like I truly believe in my heart that he was planning to admit his feelings for her, I think the suit and the flowers and the note were because he was finally going to make moves to have something in his life just for him. like he encouraged her to reach for her dreams, and I think that she showed him that it’s okay to reach for something that he wants just because he wants it. So he’s tied up in that, he’s thinking for once about teenage concerns like looking handsome to his crush and whether she’ll say yes. And then he is suddenly, brutally dragged back into his real world. And his #1 concern has ALWAYS been for Ash so there’s no question what he’s got to do, but GOD he’s leaned over the sink with the whole world on his shoulders once again, and you KNOW he’s feeling the weight of everything he’s about to lose, all that hope, that window of time where he was allowed to just be a kid for once……
