Manhunt Dream my beloved

Okay here's me rambling about this drawing for a bit because I like writing little essays for whatever reason: My first official art post :D I was originally gonna draw him without the crop top, but the reference image I found had the person wearing a crop top and I was like wait I could do that, and so I did. It's meant to resemble Dream's MC skin a little, and I almost went more overboard with that idea but decided not to, because this honestly looked the best to me. I've seen some other people draw him in crop tops too, and I always thought those designs looked cool, so here we are. The pants were a pain to render, and the shoes too, kinda. And the axe! The axe was totally something, I gathered some photos that I thought had the vibe I wanted and then I did something based on those photos and that's the result. Idk how to feel about it, I don't draw axes that often so it was kind of a struggle but I don't hate it either. Also I do not know how to accurately do shading for the life of me, I just do whatever looks nice to me and hope there's a world where it all makes sense and doesn't look super unrealistic or weird. But overall I like this drawing a lot, it was so much fun to work on and the result looks good to me :)
