in most cases, he could care LESS about gym leaders. they were something akin to CELEBRITIES in their own right, but jak had noticed they were a MUCH bigger deal in galar. sure, he'd met his fair share of BATTLE NUTS ( there are people who would say he was one himself, and they wouldn't be WRONG. ) but there was something about THAT GIRL -- minor league, sure, but from what he'd seen of her when browsing through the league members she'd stuck out. a POISON TYPE specialist ; that intrigued him more than ANYONE ELSE on the list. she was cute, but he got the feeling that there was MORE to it -- poison types weren't easy to train, after all ( he knew from experience. ) and with her being a MINOR league member she would hopefully be easier to approach than anyone in the MAJOR league -- plus, she was probably his BEST BET to solving his current ... problem.

-- which was why he had sent her an anonymous message to meet him by the WATCHTOWER RUINS in the wild area. he threw in some rare candies and a few POKÉBEANS he had left from the last time he'd been to alola with a " mysterious " message in the hopes of getting her to meet up with him. sure, it likely wouldn't work, but it didn't hurt to try -- and he felt like adding a little flair. in his head, it had higher chances of working than just MESSAGING her. still, looking back at the draft he'd typed out before actually composing the message he'd sent out of letters cut from magazines, he couldn't help but kick himself JUST a little. maybe he'd hammed it up TOO much.

hey guys!! i know i said that i would be back like, a month ago, but a bunch of shit happened. i’m not going to go into full detail about anything because i’m really not comfortable with doing so, but essentially my meds aren’t working so well anymore and i’m having major issues with college administration, plus i’ve had a ton of work dumped on me due to both industrial action and covid basically putting me out of classes for a week, meaning i have a lot of extended reading to do to make up for it.

i really want to get back into this rpc, but i kind of feel like i’ve blown that chance, haha. sorry if i bothered anyone with me not delivering. i’m hoping to be active maybe even tonight (i know right!!) 

but yeah, sorry for all the trouble ive caused!!

hey gamers !! thanks for the welcomes back. unfortunately it’s almost 7AM here ( i’ve been up all night babey !! ) so i’m not gonna get much else done as of right now since i spent most of my time getting this blog back together. i WOULD do a starter call, but the dash seems pretty firmly dead right now, so i’ll be doing one hopefully later when things are a little more active.
