When an urgent mission means he needs to stay out of cryo, his handler orders him to bring in a high value target for his fuck toy. Soon enough, Steve Rogers is the Asset’s unruly, misbehaving pet who only needs to be broken in order to be properly trained.

Labor Day Splash

Hi folks, the Summer Trash Splash posting time is being moved to start on US Labor Day (Sept 5) and end on Sept 15.  What better way to take a day of rest (at least for those among us who celebrate) than to kick back and watch the Asset suffer a bit?

Join to create as much HTP-related content (fic, art, etc) for your Bingo Card.  You can also earn points for collabs, beta-reading, and commenting. We will post everything in a SPLASH during a week mid-August.

What’s the same: we’re still splashing, we’re still trashing, and there’s still points and collab bonuses.

Summer Trash Splash Points Info

Here’s how points work:

+1 point for every box that you hit with your fic. (Hitting the same box again doesn’t count)

+5 points when you get a row of Bingo (horizontal, vertical, or corner-to-corner)

+1 point per fic if it gets beta-read.  (The beta-reader also gets a point)

+2 points for every collab (each partner gets 2 points)

+2 points for leaving comments on at last 5 different works at the end of the event

+20 points for blackout (all boxes filled)

Here’s an example of how it will be tracked on the spreadsheet:

In this case, 3 fics that are all beta-read, and one that was a collab, results in 30 points.  Huzzah!  At the end of the event, we’ll post some relevant badges for those who got to different point tiers.

Note: mod intends to keep all Bingo cards as tabs ina single spreadsheet such that each person can easily view and update their own card and track their progress.  This would also allow others to easily brainstorm with you or find points of collab.  If you do not want others to see your Bingo card, please tell the mod this when you receive the card.

I only wrote 2 works for Round 3 of @summertrashsplash, which were:

Dog Days (art by @call-me-kayyyyy and 5k words by me), for Team Punk

I basically saw Kayyyyy’s lovely lovely art and said “UNF” and wanted to write something for it.  I was a little worried that it’d be too similar to the 4F Bucky fic, but this one has more petplay and also Bucky is more experienced. 

Tethered (4472 words), for Team Geezer

I drafted a picture of Bucky sitting on the couch with a leash tied to a nearby point, happily reading a book, with Steve sitting nearby.  I didn’t end up using that pic, but that was the initial idea for it – getting Bucky to that stage of contentment.

After his time with Hydra, Bucky is left unable to register pain. This makes him a liability on the team. So that he can continue going on missions, Steve is reluctantly roped into helping Bucky re-learn how to feel and express pain. It doesn't go well (it was a bad idea to begin with).
