Will u start writing again anytime soon I miss your writing
well, i must say that this gave me more motivation than i've had in months, but i'm still pretty dried up most days other than some role playing. i'm trying, i promise, but even when i can write, it's oc content that people only read when i pester them.
even if i do finish the inserts i have in the works and get new ideas, i don't promise to come back to tumblr. the only guarantee i'll make is that i'll post on ao3, the link is in my masterlist. i honestly might just hang my hat up on sharing my stuff all together.
we'll see how it all plays out, but all i know is that i've greatly decreased the amount of time i spend on this hell site and it's done me some good.
if i can get my mojo back as well as come up with a new name and some rebranding ideas, then maybe it will inject some life back into this account.
thank you for the ask, it does mean a lot.

top of my list
whoo. took some time off to chill and think up new ideas, and it worked. kinda. so i will likely only have twenty-five for this month instead of thirty-one. who knows?
the ideas come a lot easier when i'm not thinking in one on one characters. having multiple characters be central to the plot (what little plot there is in a lot of these) helps move things along. not great if you're trying to keep a low word count, which i gave up.
anyway, here's more uchiha stuff!
disclaimer: the plot and takara only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue, fuck off and leave me alone.

They weren’t hovering. Fully grown Uchiha men didn’t hover over a woman unless she needed help.
They were just shy of hovering, leaning against the kitchen island counter as Mikoto pulled out a batch of her cookies. She was humming Christmas songs, knowing her sons and nephew were watching her like hawks, like they had every Christmas season for over twenty years. Even Sasuke, who’d pretty much disavowed sweets since he was a small child.
“How much longer, Auntie?”
“They still have to cool, Shisui, as you very well know. Then I have to frost them.” “I swear, the minutes between when those come out of the oven to when we can eat them are the longest of the entire year.” “You know what might make the wait go faster? Spreading the Christmas spirit by helping someone who needs it. The next door neighbors haven’t gotten any shoveling done since it snowed yesterday. The three of you could get it done quickly, and by the time you get back, I’m sure these will be ready.”
“Why can’t they shovel it themselves?” Sasuke questioned.
“The Aimotos have both come down with the flu. They’ve got their daughter there to help out, but she’s got her wrist in a brace, so she really shouldn’t be doing it, especially not by herself. They’re really nice people and deserve some help.”
“Of course, we can do it,” Itachi spoke up. “I knew you would.” She smiled, then produced a plate of cookies, already done. “And give this to them.” Shisui pouted. “You’ve been holding out on us, Auntie.” “Yes, but at least these other ones will be warm when you get back. They’re the house on our left.”
With varying degrees of willingness, the three set out, getting shovels from the garage. “Do you think just one of us should go to the door, or all of us?” Shisui wondered. “We should all go,” Itachi said. “We’ve never met them before, so it would be polite.”
“Whatever,” Sasuke sighed. “Let’s just get this done.”
“Have some enthusiasm, little cousin,” Shisui chuckled as they all approached the door.
You had just sat down after doing what you could around the house and tending to your parents when there was a knock on the door. You could have screamed. You were so tired, having been kept up all night by coughing, and whoever was on the other side of the door was likely going to be horrified by the sight of you. After trying to tame your hair with your fingers, straightening your clothes, and forcing a smile, you opened the door. The three men you saw there had you floored, and you really wished you’d had two minutes of warning to make yourself more presentable.
“Hello, can I help you?” You asked.
“We hope we aren’t bothering you, but we’re from next door, and we would like to shovel your walkway and driveway, if that’s okay,” the tallest of the three said.
When he said next door, you remembered the woman you’d met at the store, and you noted that they all shared some strong features with her. The shortest one was practically her as a man.
You gave a soft laugh. “The Uchihas, right? Does Mikoto have anything to do with this?”
“She made us aware that you could use the help,” the one in the middle explained. “I’m Itachi, this is my little brother Sasuke, and our older cousin, Shisui. She also wanted us to give these to you.”
He held out the plate, which you accepted with your good hand. “That woman is an angel. Give her my thanks, and warn her that my mother was only delayed in her plans to rain her baking upon the neighborhood. She’ll be making your family twice as much now, if not more, knowing her.”
“And whose thanks are we passing along?” Shisui inquired.
“Oh, right. My name is Takara. It’s nice to meet you all, and as much as my pride is hurting, I’ll accept your offer. I would have gotten to clearing all that eventually, but that might have put on enough strain to mean another week in this stupid thing.” You indicated your brace. “It’s not much, but I can pay you-”
“Don’t even think about it. We’re happy to do it,” the same man said with a smile. “It’ll take the three of us no time at all.”
“Are you sure?” “Yes,” the formerly silent one said. “If our mom found out, she’d throw us all out into the snow.”
You laughed. “Our moms are cut from the same cloth. If you see mine around in the future, run. I’m serious, don’t walk, run. She’s one of the crazy ones that’s ready to shove her child off on whatever poor sucker looks at me twice. I don’t want to even think about what she’ll do when she finds out we’ve spoken to each other at all.”
The statement was punctuated with a roll of your eyes. “If she has her big purse on her, move like your life depends on it. I’m pretty sure she still has my headshots from high school in there, and she will try to slip you one.”
Shisui laughed as well. “Auntie isn’t quite that bad, but she is disappointed that one of these two hasn’t made her a grandmother yet.”
Itachi and Sasuke both looked away in embarrassment, making you and Shisui laugh even harder.
“Don’t feel bad. My mom is focused on planning my wedding day right now, but when that actually looks like it’s not just a pipe dream, she’ll start thinking along the same lines, and she’ll likely turn feral. I guess this means you’re all on my ‘off-limits’ list. Who knows what our moms would come up with before we finished the first date?”
“She’s not my mom,” Shisui pointed out with a playful wink. “Are you really any safer than those two?” You joked.
“Probably not,” Sasuke quipped, making you laugh again.
“Shame. Well, I need to go check on Mom and Dad, and I don’t want you guys to stand out here in the cold any longer. If you need a drink or something, come knock on the door. If you don’t need anything, then thank you so much, and I’m sure I’ll see you around.” “Definitely,” Shisui confirmed. “We’ll be back if it snows again.”
“I’ve got a love-hate relationship with snow, don’t go making me re-evaluate it. See you later, guys.”
You shut the door as quickly as you could without feeling like you were rushing, then let out a deep breath.
“Maybe there is a Santa,” you muttered to yourself as you went to set the cookies on the kitchen counter.
“Did either of you put her down on your wishlist?” Shisui asked his cousins. “Because I don’t remember doing that, but she would have been at the top.”
Neither of them answered, but even Sasuke was thinking that you weren’t a deterrent to shoveling extra snow a few times.

let it snow
uchiha #2 is here! and this is the seventh story i've written for a character i've never done before. that's a whole week's worth, and nearly consecutively. i feel like a boss ass bitch.
i really love this one. it's probably not my best, but it was as fun to write as it's a marshmallow world. i hope i did okay.
disclaimer: the plot, and the two unnamed characters only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue, fuck off and leave me alone.
song- i have eight different versions of this song on my christmas playlist. i'm a song hoarder if there ever was one. all of my playlists except ones designated for fanfic have at least one song with multiple covers.
word count: 1119- i don't even bother trying anymore. it is what it is.
enjoy!
Heavy snow tended to be hated or celebrated, with little grey area in between those reactions. You were of the former view. Especially when your boyfriend started laughing as soon as he opened the door to see you looking like you got in a fight with Jack Frost and lost.
“Will you let me in already?” You grouched through chattering teeth. “I’m freezing!”
Itachi stepped aside, granting you entrance, then helped you remove your coat. You brushed off and dried off any wet spots where flakes had clung and melted on your skin that was still barely warmer than snow. Then you ran a hand through your hair to get any stragglers.
“You’re lucky I love you, or I would have made you come to me,” you said.
“No you wouldn’t. I’m the one with a fireplace,” he chuckled. “That’s what you love.”
“Okay, you got me,” you snickered. “I’ve got the popcorn. Did you get the movies?”
“Yes. There’s this wonderful thing called a streaming service, so I didn’t even need to leave the house.”
You rolled your eyes, smiling. “Do I have to fish out your air popper, or did you do that for me?”
“I’m not a monster. It’s on the counter.”
“Great. Last question. Is Sasuke here, or do we not have to worry about him being a punk if he catches us so much as hugging?”
“He’s at Naruto’s, watching Die Hard with him and the girls.”
“Great. I hope they make him watch at least one cheesy, badly written, cliché Christmas movie.”
“You realize cliché encompasses the other two?”
“Not necessarily! Something can be well-written and cheese-free, but still be cliché,” you argued, going to the kitchen. “They just coincide more often than not.”
You were glad to find the appliance ready to go. You turned it on and got a measurement scoop to add the kernels you brought, humming happily as you thought about the treat you were preparing, and the day you had planned. As soon as you heard you were in for a snow storm on your joint day off, the two of you agreed to jump on the chance to have a real snow day. Inside. Hot chocolate, popcorn, a fire, and at least a day’s worth of your favorite movies that you hadn’t watched in the longest time… Okay, some of them you had watched the prior week.
Your stomach grumbled as the smell started to get to you, so you kept moving by getting out a giant bowl, butter that you melted in the microwave, cinnamon, and sugar. When that was done, you got the hot chocolate going. They finished around the same time, so you topped the drinks with a mountain of whipped cream each, took them to the living room and then doubled back for your popcorn, as well as pretzels and M&Ms. There was even a frozen pizza for when you needed more. To say you were prepared was an understatement. “All right, let’s do this!” You cheered, joining him on the couch, setting the goodies down on the coffee table.
He started the movie and draped a heavy blanket over the two of you while you cuddled up to him. It was paradise.
You really didn’t intend to fall asleep. It astounded you when you found yourself waking to the end credits of the second movie you swore you just started. The warmth and a stomach full of snacks was more sedating than any cold medicine you’d ever taken.
“Welcome back,” Itachi greeted you.
“You let me sleep through the whole movie?” You whined. “Not nice!”
He chuckled. “Do you want me to restart it?”
“Did you sleep through it too?”
“No, but it was your choice. It’s not fair to make you miss it.”
“We can watch it later. I don’t want to make you go through it twice,” you offered. “Then you don’t have to watch it twice, back to back.”
“It would be worth it, just to watch the cute faces you make when you sleep. Your nose twitches a lot for some reason.”
You felt your face heat to that of hot chocolate temperature and you gently elbowed him. “Itachi!”
He just laughed.
“You’re so mean! Just for that, we are watching it again right now!”
He didn’t complain at all as he restarted the movie. You leaned back against him, turning to put your back to his chest. He adjusted to fit you between his legs. You both leaned back against the arm of the sofa so your head ended up against his chest. It was even more comfortable than before, and you were afraid you’d fall asleep again. “Hey, if I fall asleep, wake me up this time around, or we’ll be watching this movie all through the night.”
“I’m okay with that.”
You looked up at him with a small smile. “You’re cute.” “Really? Even though my nose doesn’t-” “Damn you!” You laughed and twisted your body so you could pin him down.
He just smirked up at you. “I seem to be in a predicament.”
“I’d say so.”
In sync, you lowered your lips to his as he tilted his chin up slightly to meet them. Your hands went straight to his hair out of habit, tugging gently at his roots and drawing out a groan. His went to your waist, quickly slipping under the hem of your sweater, which was suddenly stifling and suffocating. You broke away to remove it, then got right back to business. He felt up under your top, and just as his thumbs had brushed over the sides of your breasts, the front door opened.
“Seriously?” Sasuke groaned in complaint as the two of you sat up, not feeling guilty one bit.
“Told you we should have called first,” Sakura said.
“They shouldn’t be doing that in the public rooms!”
The other girl with them, a short haired brunette, shook her head and crossed her arms. “Sasuke, just because you aren’t getting any doesn’t mean you can punish everyone else.”
He grumbled under his breath. “I can get some whenever I want.” “Yes, you can, so give everyone else a break already and make a damn call, because your left hand clearly isn’t cutting it.”
“Okay,” Itachi chuckled, trying to spare his little brother further embarrassment. “What are you all doing here?” “My whole block is out of power,” Naruto said, still trying not to laugh at his best friend’s expense.
“Fun. So it’s a party,” you stated, getting up. “Who wants hot chocolate?”
Even with the four new additions you couldn’t say you’d rather be anywhere else.
…and Itachi kept you warm all night. Let it snow, indeed.

greatest time of year
oi vei, i'm running out of ideas... well kinda. i have a few, but i want them to be later in the month. i was griping about things being too long, but now i'm hoping i can come up with enough of an idea to make them long enough. i'll do the best i can.
today is precious baby lee's turn! i've really never considered writing for him, but i do adore him.
i'm also running out of song ideas. i've got a good list, but half of them are too religious. i really hope i can make this work. if i pull it off, i'm never doing a daily christmas challenge again.
disclaimer: the plot and takara only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue, fuck off and leave me alone.

enjoy!
You loved Christmas. You loved the whole season. The warmth from drinking hot chocolate and warm apple cider, from gathering around a cozy fire, and from your own heart as you saw joy spreading like a wonderful contagion.
You thought you loved it more than anyone, until you met Rock Lee. His enthusiasm for not just your favorite holiday but everything he did was unmatched. It was admirable and terrifying at the same time. When the two of you were together, you were pretty sure he absorbed your excitement and multiplied it by ten. His friends both resented and thanked you. The resentment was for increasing his exuberance, but the appreciation-
“Come on, Takara!” Lee called as he dragged you by your wrist.
-was for being the main target of that exuberance.
You glanced back at Neji and Tenten, pleading for help. She just laughed, while he shook his head, as if to say you brought this on yourself. He was right. You agreed to go see all the decorations and set ups around town, knowing what Lee would likely do.
“Okay, but I have two feet! Please, let me use them!” You requested, and he slowed down just a bit.
“Is everything alright?” He questioned.
“Yes, but it is kind of icy, and I’m afraid of falling.”
He flashed you a grin. “I would never let you fall! I will always catch you!”
A new kind of warmth flooded your body. “Thank you, but I’d rather not take you down with me.”
“Do not worry! I will make sure neither of us touch the ground!”
“I trust you, Lee,” you told him with a smile, “but still, let’s be a little more careful?”
“Very well. Let’s still try to hurry! There’s so much to see, and it all looks so different after dark! We also must take advantage of the snow and build a snowman! This really is a time to celebrate and we should take advantage of every minute!”
“Okay, okay!” You laughed. The two of you turned back to see the stragglers, and you got an idea. You whispered it to Lee, and he chuckled as he nodded, worrying his friends. It was even more worrisome when the two of you disappeared on them.
“Neji, I don’t like this,” Tenten stated warily.
“I don’t either,” he agreed. “When those two work together-”
He cut off with a cry as Lee came up on his left, hooking arms with him while you did the same with Tenten on her right.
“Give us a break!” She groaned just before you started pulling her along. Not as fast as Lee had been pulling you, but faster than they’d been going.
You just laughed. The four of you spent all of the chilly afternoon wandering around, not evening thinking of going home until after you’d gotten the best hot chocolate you’d ever had and the giant tree in the center of town was shining like a beacon. If only you had a picture of the moment the four of you stood side by side, staring at it with smiles of varying sizes. You really wished you had one when you linked hands with Tenten and Lee, while she took hold of Neji’s. There was a special feeling you didn’t think you’d ever be able to replicate.
When you were all done, Neji went to take Tenten home, and you and Lee stuck together.
“Today was great,” you said as you headed home.
“It really was. There is something about this season that you do not find in the others. I like the rest of the year, but…”
“It’s just different. Each season has its charms that the others don’t, and there’s nothing with appreciating those charms. However, there’s no question that this season does tend to inspire more goodwill than the others. Even though it shows the worst in people, it also shows the best. Maybe it’s just because we put so much more emphasis on it.”
“I do not know about that, but whatever it is, it’s hard not to get that good feeling.”
You nodded. “For some people, yes, the love and cheer is natural, but it shines more at this time when it’s not as strange to show strangers how much you care because we’re all human. Sadly, not everyone feels that way.”
“Those are the people that need the joy the most, and we can only try to share it.”
“Absolutely.” It was much too soon that you reached your doorstep. “Goodnight, Lee. I’ll see you soon.”
“Yes, of course… Would you… Well, would you care to do this again tomorrow? Maybe just the two of us?”
You were taken aback by the invitation. You’d only ever heard Lee ask one person out, and that had been quite awhile ago. Still, you smiled as bright as the Christmas lights.
“I’d love to.”
He returned your smile, and he didn’t walk away until you were safe inside, not knowing you were giggling like a child, leaning back against the door, letting out a dreamy sigh.
“What a good feeling indeed.”

sleigh ride
...i was so proud. i thought i was going to have two days of being under 1k. even for a character i've never had any particular love for (okay, so that applies to obito too, and he was also a 1k+ story), i can't limit my word count.
*sigh* what can ya do?
anyway, here's another spur of the moment idea i had (which is all but the one on the fifth, since i'd been toying with that one for a month before i wrote it), and it got away from me. it's still cute, even if it's not that well written.
disclaimer: the plot and unnamed character only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue, fuck off and leave me alone.
song- this is the one that has the vibe i liked best for this fic, but don't sleep on the ella fitzgerald one.

enjoy!
If anyone told you your boyfriend would hitch the dogs that worked alongside him, his mother, and his sister to a sleigh to take you on a ride around the village, you’d have laughed yourself into a coma until next winter.
Yet that’s exactly what you found when you answered the door.
“Kiba Inuzuka, what in the name of the six hokage are you doing?” You questioned in awe. “Where did you get a sleigh?”
“Don’t worry about it, babe. I’ve got connections!” He proudly declared with a huge grin.
“Apparently. I never knew you were this well connected.” You walked over to pet the dogs, starting with Akamaru. “Hi, boy. Are you making sure he’s being good?”
You got an excited yip and a lick to your cheek in response, making you laugh. “That’s a good boy! I’ll have a treat ready next time I know I’ll see you.”
Then you moved on to the others, amazed. “Kuromaru, what did he do to bribe you into this? Whatever it was, I’m sure it wasn’t worth it.”
“He’s just lucky we all like you,” the giant wolf-like dog replied, “or nothing would be enough.”
“Aw, well, thank you. I like you all too. More than I like him half the time. Was Tsume-san okay with it?”
“She just told him not to screw this up.”
You laughed and scratched behind his ear. “Well, I greatly appreciate it. This is wonderful. Give her my thanks.”
Then you moved on to the Haimaru brothers, who were calmer than Akamaru, but just as happy to see you. “And you three can give my thanks to Hana-san. You all are amazing.”
“Hey, we’ve got to get going,” Kiba interrupted, gently coaxing you into the sleigh. “We don’t want to keep these guys out when it’s this cold.”
“Of course not,” you agreed.
When the two of you sat down and he had wrapped a heavy blanket around the two of you, the team of five took off, running just fast enough to keep the sleigh moving at a decent speed while giving you a chance to look around. They obviously knew right where they were going, skirting around the village enough for you to see the decorations and lights, but avoiding anywhere that had people. You marvelled at everything as it glittered. It was very different from anything you’d ever done before. After just over half an hour, you came to a stop at a familiar spot. It was just a little clearing, not too far from his home.
“Kiba, is this-”
“Where we first met as kids? Yeah,” he explained as he pulled out a thermos of hot chocolate and two small cups. “Akamaru has loved you ever since, I hope you know.”
“Good,” you smiled and eagerly accepted yours when he handed it to you, letting it warm your hands. “I’ve loved him since then too. You took a fair bit longer to get in my good graces.”
“You weren’t my favorite person either.”
You shared a laugh at the memory.
“We were both such brats,” you admitted. “You thought you owned this area because you and Akamaru trained together everyday, and I refused to leave just to prove you wrong, even though I could have gone anywhere else.”
“True. I still thought you were cute.”
Your smile softened into something sweeter. “I might have thought the same thing about you, but I was still too distracted by the puppy.”
“Everyone was, and still is, even though he’s not a puppy anymore.”
The canine in question barked.
“Yes, Akamaru, you’re still just as adorable!” You called, earning a proud sounding huff.
“You’re the reason he cares at all,” Kiba said. “He just likes you too much.”
“What can I say? I’m not his partner, but some people and animals just click.” You cautiously sipped at the drink, trying to warm up further.
“That’s true. You know, I don’t think he’ll ever forgive me if we break up.”
You eyed him, a little concerned. “Yeah? I’d still give him treats, if that’s what he’s worried about.”
“No, but he does love those. He’d miss seeing you all the time.”
“It’s not like we see each other all the time now. It wasn’t that long ago that we went almost two months without getting to spend any time together. Missions are always going to pull us away.”
“I know, and that sucked. I have an idea that might make it easier, though.”
Your confusion was clear. “What are you thinking?”
He sighed. It was shaky, and so were his hands. “Do you remember what today is?”
“Um,” you mumbled as you thought on it, trying to come up with something. When you remembered the date, it hit you, and you felt horrible. “It’s our first anniversary.”
You’d known it was coming. You’d thought about what you’d do, but with the busy season, it all went right out of your mind.
“Yeah. We made it official one year ago, but it doesn’t feel any different than what we were like since way before then, so it really doesn’t feel like we need to wait any longer, but we can if you want. I still just want to ask…”
You watched as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a box. “We can wait as long as you want, but I don’t want to be in the exact same place we are right now on our second anniversary. Will you marry me?”
He opened the box to reveal a beautiful diamond on a band of gold.
You weren’t the kind to get super emotional- which was one thing he appreciated about you- so you didn’t get choked up. Still, you were stunned. You never would have expected it to happen that day.
“Yes,” you found yourself speaking before you felt fully ready, but it was still the right answer.
Kiba had done his best to be patient, but he was still fidgety, knowing he was going out on a very high and tenuous limb. When you spoke, he felt safe again.
“Yes?” He questioned.
“Yes, you dork!”
He threw his arms up in victory, nearly throwing your ring as well, making you crack up. A celebratory howl followed when it was on your finger, which Akamaru and the triplets joined in on. Kuromaru just rolled his eyes.
“Well, they won’t have to ask him when we get back. They definitely heard that,” the black and white dog said.
You couldn’t stop laughing, until your fiance made you, taking you in a kiss that the dogs all pointedly avoided looking at.
“Okay, let’s get home!” He said when he released you. “We’ve still got to tell Ma and Hana. They’ve been telling me to man up and do this.”
“I’m sure they have!”
The timing for snow to start falling couldn’t have been better as you headed back. Nothing from before he picked you up, and even if it had gone terribly, nothing after you left the clearing would have mattered either.
It would always be remembered as the perfect ending to a perfect day.

it's a marshmallow world
i can't believe how fast i went from "i have no fucking ideas!" to polishing this off. it is probably the fastest thing i've written this whole year. yes, it's the shortest, but word count is no indication of time for someone who can be hyper focused and crank out 5k- not a huge exaggeration, if you take into account how many of those words i later cut- in one day, or have the attention span of a kid in a candy store, which means it takes me three hours to write 1k.
this is adorable, and funny. it's my second favorite so far, and a very close second at that. it was so much fun to write. it's in the canon-verse, but divergent since sasuke stayed long enough for there to be snow on the ground.
technically, there is no pairing, i'd say, but i'll still label it as a kakashi x reader.
disclaimer: the plot and takara only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue, fuck off and leave me alone.
song
word count: 971- it's under 1k! i do have self control!
enjoy the baby team 7 love!
The first snow day of winter was always a day to be celebrated. You had a special pair of gloves reserved just for the occasion, and you were dying to put them to good use.
What better use than to help some bright-eyed students take revenge on their sensei? “He’s had this coming since that bell test,” Naruto huffed, helping you build up an arsenal of snowballs along with Sasuke and a dozen shadow clones. The three of you were at the training grounds where they had said bell test, hiding in the shrubs.
“He’s had this coming a lot longer than that,” you cackled.
“Is that why you offered to help us?” Sasuke questioned. “It’s personal?”
“I wouldn’t say it’s personal, but yeah. I’ve been itching to get him just once for longer than you’ve been alive, but I could never find the right accomplices. Lucky you. That, and I’ve seen the attempts you three have made, trying to see him under his mask. They were hilarious and sad at the same time.”
The two genin each shot you a dirty look, and you just smirked back at them. “You know it’s true, boys. None of you have gotten even close individually, and your teamwork is laughable when you’ve tried working together. You may be great in battle, but outside of that, you trip over each other like kittens born five minutes ago.”
“You’re not very nice, Takara-sensei,” Naruto said, pouting.
“I’m helping you, aren’t I?” You teased him. “Give it time. I’m sure I won’t be saying that for very much longer.”
You had a decent pile built when another shadow clone came running.
“They’re almost here!” He informed you, and the boys each took a few shadow clones to different piles you’d set up around the grounds, leaving you a few as well.
Not a moment too soon, Sakura and Kakashi appeared. You weren’t sure how she got him there, but she did her job.
“Five, four, three, two, one,” you counted down as they neared Naruto’s hiding place.
“Fire!” You heard the feisty boy call, jumping out and unleashing his ramen-fueled fury.
Sakura jumped away to another pile and helped Naruto shepherd their sensei toward Sasuke. Kakashi had put his book away to keep it dry, so he didn’t have any distractions. He was having no problem evading the two, and he had obviously been anticipating the third adversary. That was okay. You were the ace in the hole. The genin were just a decoy.
An evil smile dominated your face as you watched them play their parts. When they had him on the next agreed mark, you sent the clones out ahead of you to help corner him. As anticipated, Kakashi finessed his way out of his students’ trap.
“When will you three ever learn? You can’t beat me yet,” he condescended as they all panted, looking defeated.
“Damn,” Naruto said, and that was your cue. You summoned a dozen clones of your own, each grabbing two snowballs, then jumped out.
Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke all smirked, then jumped away as Kakashi turned in surprise to see you right behind him.
“What?! You?!” “Surprise!” You greeted, then delivered the final barrage. You didn’t think a single one had missed.
All was silent as your clones dispelled, and you stood there, the picture of satisfaction. He had snow dripping off every part of him as he gazed back at you in shock.
“You… When?” “That’s for us to know, and you to fear.”
“Yeah!” Naruto cheered as the three re-appeared. “Takara-sensei, you rule!”
“And I wonder why they won’t give me a team,” you laughed. “I’ll just come steal yours when it’s convenient.”
“Oh, please do!” Sakura sighed.
“It wouldn’t be awful for a mission or two,” Sasuke agreed.
Kakashi finally shook his head with a laugh. “Great. You assault me, then you turn my students against me. What’s next? My pack?”
Your grin stretched further. “When I decide to do that, you definitely won’t see it coming.”
Taking off your soaked gloves and tucking them in a pocket, you tried to warm your hands.
“Okay, well, I better go before I lose my fingers to frostbite.” You directed your gaze to the genin. “Great job, you guys. If you need anything else, keep me in mind, and go easy on the old man. See you around.”
Seven eyes followed you as you departed, happily crunching snow underfoot.
“You know, she’s kinda cool,” Naruto said with a light blush, partly from the cold air and exertion. The three of them were all pink in the face, but they had a valid excuse. Their sensei didn’t have as much of one with the thermal mask he wore, but he certainly had some color underneath it.
“She’s awesome!” Sakura praised, happy to find someone she felt would make a good role model for her.
“She’s okay,” Sasuke countered.
“I bet Kakashi-sensei doesn’t think so,” Naruto chuckled.
Sakura eyed the jonin, then smiled knowingly. She knew that look in someone’s eye. She had plenty of up close and personal experience with it in the academy.
“He thinks she’s more than okay!” She declared, piquing both her teammates’ interest- just barely in Sasuke’s case, because it could mean trouble if Kakashi was distracted by someone. He was flaky enough with keeping time as it was. Still, maybe you could help the copy-nin clean up his act.
“What?” Kakashi asked. “I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
“Uh-huh, sure,” Naruto doubted. “You like her!”
“You three are too young to be thinking about that.”
Sakura rolled her eyes. “Whatever, sensei.”
He gave them the next time they were meant to meet, then disappeared. They glanced at each other, then Sakura spoke again.
“Alright, so here’s the plan to set them up…”

it's not christmas without you
i'm late. i had an off day, so this is technically a day behind. oh well.
there was a lot i kept thinking i needed to include in this note, but i forgot at least half of it. i'm pretty sure it wasn't all that important.
anyway, this is a special one. i normally use this generic character name for all my reader characters, and i don't include any specifics beyond that. this time, i decided to try something else. it's second person pov with one of my characters. she's still mostly undescribed with her features, but i did include one or two things that hint at her appearance. i had fun with it, but i was being extra careful to not include too much about her, and while i think everything is relevant, i still might have left a line or two that could have been cut.
i won't be surprised if this is my least liked story, but i'm pretty happy with it.
disclaimer: the plot and chii only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue me, fuck off and leave me alone.
song
word count: 2978- i really need help with cutting shit down. i tried so hard, but this idea just kept hopping around, so i was just trying to make sure i didn't leave any gaps. character explanation, as limited as i tried to keep it, didn't help either. there's just a lot more to be said about a character i've had for over ten years than a generic one i made up specifically to suit a single story.
enjoy!
The Christmas music called to you from inside Naruto and Hinata’s home, and the picture from outside made you smile softly. Bright light spilled through the front windows onto glittering snow covered bushes, and you couldn’t deny that it warmed your heart quite a bit.
“It’s not a party!” Naruto had told you when you had initially been resistant to the idea of the gathering. “It’s just a few friends!” That was a lie if you ever heard one. Naruto didn’t do anything small. However, it wasn’t as big as you thought it would be. Kiba and Shino were busy with their families that evening, as were Sasuke, his wife Usagi, and their one child (and a half). Sakura was working a double shift at the hospital. It was sad that not everyone could make it, but you were relieved. Kiba and Naruto were the rowdiest of the group, and Usagi could blend with them very well, very easily when she wanted to. Taking two of those people out of the equation meant a chance at a few hours of relative peace. Some others were arriving late, so it was the best time to be there.
“Yeah!” Naruto cheered when he opened the door to see you. “I knew you’d come!”
“I told you I would,” you laughed, stepping in and removing your long overcoat. He took it, tossed it on the pile of the others, and led you to the den where about a dozen others were. “Am I the last one?”
“Nah. Kankuro is still lagging behind. He’ll be here soon.”
You nodded with a slight ache in your heart when the name caused you to remember one of the reasons that you were there. It was so you wouldn’t stay home sulking.
“Chii!” You looked over just in time to get plowed into by Ino, your older sister by adoption.
“Hi, sis,” you groaned as you tried to stay standing. “How much have you had to drink?”
“I’ve hardly had any!”
“Uh-huh,” you said, not believing her. She had an average alcohol tolerance, so you knew she needed a few cups to get so bubbly, depending on the drink. She had been in an exceptionally good mood that day, though, so maybe she hadn’t had all that much.
“I’m telling the truth!”
“Okay, okay, but I still smell schnapps on your breath, so back up, please.”
“All right,” she said and took a step back. “Think you’ll be able to stay the whole time?”
Your eyes darted to the three children of Naruto and Hinata- crawling around at his mother’s feet with some of his toys in reach- Shikamaru and Temari- in his father’s arms, looking around with mild interest- and Choji and Karui- finishing off a bottle in her father’s arms as well. “Until the babies go down, at least.”
“Right. That’s something, at least. It’s been forever since you’ve been around this many of us at once.”
“A year. Last Christmas and New Year’s was the last time.”
“Now that you mention it, I don’t think that half this many of us have gotten together since then. Naruto’s gotten handfuls of us out for dinner a few times, I think, but nothing near this.”
You nodded. “As much as we may want to, it’s pretty much impossible to get us all, now that some are parents, half of the group is married, and we all have careers.”
“Yeah, but that’s boring!”
“You say that because you’re not married or a parent, so you just have your career while your friends have their families to tend to. That’s okay. You’re a good psychiatrist, and you’ve got Kankuro whipped over those blue eyes.”
“And then there’s you, who would turn down half the invites if we did get together as often as we want to. Admit it, the extent of your socialization outside the family circle is pretty much your students and their parents and-”
She cut off, looking a little guilty.
“Gaara. Yeah, I know. Does that really count in your book? All we’ve done is text since last year, and not talking about it doesn’t change the fact that he’s not coming this year.”
“You don’t know that. Didn’t he say that he might make it on New Year’s Eve?”
“Might, but I’m not holding out a lot of hope.”
“Chii, come on. I know how you feel about him, but don’t let this ruin your holiday,” she sighed.
“It’s not just that he’s not here,” you muttered. “I… I was planning on making a move. I wasn’t going to do it over text, but I’ve been thinking about it for months.”
She gaped in astonishment. You confided almost everything in her, but this was the first time you’d spoken it aloud. It was the first time you actually said anything aloud that confirmed that you felt that way. There had been teasing the previous year when couples had paired off, leaving you and him as the spares, and the two of you looked as comfortable with each other as any of the couples did. It didn’t help when your gloves got soaked when someone’s water glass was knocked over while you all were out to dinner before seeing the lights in town. Your hands were freezing, dry, and cracking. The jacket you’d been wearing had pockets so tiny, you couldn’t fit your hands in them. He had a solution, and if you hadn’t actually known him from well before then, you would have jumped out of your skin when he gave you his left glove and told you to put it on, then taken your right hand and stuck it in his much roomier pocket along with his left hand. No, he wasn’t holding your hand.
Ino glanced back to check on you when you weren’t looking and almost had a fit. Kankuro was with her, and when he saw what she was freaking out about he was only a little calmer. If they hadn’t seen how bad your hands were, and knew that your gloves were useless, they wouldn’t have left you alone. They definitely wouldn’t have waited until the four of you had separated from the group to call you out on it.
Ino fussed over you enough- not nearly as bad as she did before you left for school- while Kankuro gave Gaara just enough trouble to consider himself a good big brother, but they both took the protectiveness up a notch, even though you had just turned twenty only a couple weeks prior to that incident, and Gaara was a month away from turning twenty-three.
“Does that mean you were actually going to drink tonight to work up the courage?” She couldn’t help teasing, eliciting a roll of your eyes.
“Very funny. I’m going to go say hi to the others and kidnap the kids,” you said, turning away from her. After making it around to everyone else, you got on the ground and played with Boruto, who recognized you after a minute or two. Conversation flew over your head until Boruto decided to lay down on the comfy blanket he was on and doze off, which was when you decided to stand up and re-join the adults.
“Hey, Chii, you haven’t performed since you graduated, right?” Naruto spoke up when the talking had ebbed.
You nodded, a sinking feeling in your gut. You’d gotten your bachelor of arts in performance with emphasis on voice and dance over six months beforehand, and since you’d returned home following graduation, all you’d been able to do with the education from your years at the University of Ame was teach those lessons, along with piano. You were good, and you knew it, but you weren’t one of the self-assured performers that could be put on the spot.
“Why don’t you sing something for us? We could use some live music!”
“Naruto, it’s not nice to ask someone so suddenly,” Hinata said, picking up their son.
“But we’re all friends, and we’ve all heard her before.”
“It was the national anthem at a school assembly in senior year. That was five years ago. Besides Ino, Shikamaru, Choji and the babies, no one else here has heard me since then,” you pointed out.
“Don’t you have to be ready to perform at a moment’s notice or something when you do musicals? What’s the word for those people?”
“Understudies or swings, and they prepare for months. They know exactly what they’re doing when they’re called on. Big difference.”
“Fine, fine, I’ll back off, but if you do it, we’ll take you out for sushi.”
You weakly glared at him as everyone laughed or at least smiled in amusement. The local sushi restaurant was a huge weakness of yours, and they were all close enough to you to know it. “What do you want me to sing?”
“Anything! It can be Jingle Bells if you jazz it up a bit.”
“Please, anything but that,” Temari groaned.
“Do that pretty one you’ve been listening to a lot,” Ino suggested. “It sounds sad, but ends with a good feeling!”
“It’s Not Christmas Without You?” You confirmed, daring her to push it.
“Yeah!”
“Oh, I like that one,” Hinata said.
You sighed, figuring you might as well vent your feelings with a song that hit the nail on the head. You found a karaoke track of it and plugged it into the stereo. Despite knowing that it would be better form to stand, you weren’t going to. You were confident in your abilities, but you weren’t about to stick out further when everyone else was sitting.
“The year’s almost over. It sure looks like December, with snow and ice on the ground,” you sang softly when you knew to come in.
You really hoped Ino was the only one there who knew that it wasn’t just a song to you. You weren’t sure, but you knew that when your emotions ran high- a too frequent occurrence- you were an open book. If you got too emotional during the song, it would be obvious that it was personal, and the others would wonder. Only Naruto would openly ask, if he didn’t decide it was better left alone, but those people had all shown that they cared about you enough to be curious. If that was it, you’d be okay, but you knew some of them might not have to think too much to reach the accurate conclusion. It would be embarrassing enough for them to know you had a general someone in mind, but Shikamaru and especially Temari… That would just be awkward for them to find out that you felt that way about her brother while you were belting out the chorus.
When you were finishing the first chorus, Boruto stirred, recognizing your voice from when you’d sung him lullabies. He reached for you, surprising you a bit. It was rare that he chose to part from his mother when he was sleepy. You weren’t even sure that you’d seen it happen before. You glanced at Hinata as you started the second verse, and she smiled. You nervously took him from her and stood, knowing he’d be happiest being rocked.
It turned out to be a blessing in a few ways. For one, your focus was on him as you carried on. For another, you couldn’t go all in on the bridge and final chorus the way it was called for when he was that close if you wanted to spare his hearing, so you had to control your emotional output along with your volume. You altered the intensity to stay as true as you could while keeping your voice just loud enough for everyone to hear you. It kept you from choking up like you feared.
“It’s Christmas, all I wanted this year, on this Christmas, was for you to be near,” you sang as you watched the infant fall back asleep before lifting your head to deliver the joyful last lines. You almost choked on them when you saw that at some point while you were distracted, Naruto had slipped away to let two more people in. “I won’t wonder if you’re thinking of me, ‘cause you’re here. My one wish has come true, it’s no longer Christmas without you…”
You were trying not to shake as your eyes met Gaara’s while he smiled warmly right at you. Swallowing everything you were feeling that you couldn’t begin to process as you were. Looking for an escape, you turned to Hinata.
“Would y-you like me to put him in his crib? You tried begging her with your eyes. Luckily, she understood you and gave you the okay. You were in the nursery before you registered anything after that first step out. Trying to rationalize, you told yourself that it wasn’t a big deal. You just felt that way because you caved and gave that impromptu performance, which already had you anxious, but then you weren’t prepared for the sudden addition of two people, whoever they were. Finally, you admitted to yourself, it didn’t help that you had feelings for him, and you’d already made peace with the fact that he wasn’t coming.
You went straight back to Ino and asked her to get you a drink, knowing very little about alcohol. She was surprised, but complied, catching on quickly. You followed through with what you told Ino, but as soon as you saw that Shikadai and Chocho were both out, you were heading for your car. You were so glad you’d driven separately from your sister just so you’d be able to take off if you got too overwhelmed. However, when you stopped by the door to find your keys in your bag, you were cornered.
“Your voice is beautiful,” he said.
“Thank you,” you said, too softly at first, so you felt the need to repeat it after clearing your throat. “I-I guess you were able to get away from work after all.”
“I was. I would have messaged you if I had known it would be such a shock to you.”
You concentrated on rifling through your bag. “Please, I doubt you had any time to think about contacting me.”
“More time than you’d think.”
You finally sighed and stopped, feeling too frantic. “Shock or not, you didn’t owe me anything.”
“Maybe, but I’m sorry I caught you off guard like that.”
“Don’t worry about it. I was already feeling like a deer in the headlights.”
“Naruto mentioned that he bribed you to do it. Let me guess, that sushi restaurant you told me about over the summer?”
You blushed. “Am I that predictable?”
“I wouldn’t say that,” he chuckled. “I just think I’ve gotten to know you well.”
“It would seem so.”
“Would you be opposed to going with me?” His meaning flew over your head at first.
“Of course not. I’m sure Naruto would love for you to come with us when he-”
“I meant just me.”
For the first time, you willingly looked at him instead of doing it by accident, not totally confident that he was asking what you had intended to ask at one point.
“Oh, um… No, I-I wouldn’t be. I’m free whenever you’d like to go, for the most part. Just give me as much warning as you can, in case I have a lesson. I don’t have many to work around.”
He nodded. “I don’t want to keep you, if you have somewhere else you need to be.”
“I don’t… I just know more people should be here soon, and I’m kind of at my limit.” “I understand.” You noted the flash of a frown and furrowed brow, indicating that he was unhappy. “Would tomorrow evening work?”
You were pretty sure you had no prior commitments, and you were happy to deliver a positive answer.
“Yes, it would. I can come get you at six, or do you have a car you’d prefer to drive?”
“That works. Just be ready for any future teasing at my expense. It’s technically the first time I’ve ever asked anyone on a date.”
Everything came to a screeching halt as you realized it was more than you told yourself it was to spare yourself the disappointment if he meant it platonically.
“It’s technically the first time I’ve ever said yes to one,” you faintly laughed.
He smiled again, and you returned it. It was the perfect time to tell him, but you were afraid you’d stumble over yourself too much. Maybe it should wait until the next day.
Car doors shutting signaled the arrival of more people, but you found you weren’t quite as eager to go. He nodded in understanding when you looked back at him, figuring you were itching to get out of there. You had an idea that was so impulsive, you didn’t even register that you’d acted on it until it was over and you were up on the balls of your feet to reach him.
“Sorry,” you quickly said as he set you with a wide eyed gaze. “Let’s just say I’ve been waiting to do that for a year, and I guess I couldn’t wait any longer. I surprised myself too.”
Without warning, he returned the favor, giving both of you a chance to enjoy it.
“I guess I couldn’t wait any longer either,” he said when you broke apart, both of you sporting smiles.
Those smiles only lasted until there was a knock on the door, and someone cleared their throat, attracting your attention. Naruto stood there with a smile that he wore well, one that conveyed the promise of mischief.
“I’ll treat you to sushi for singing, Chii, but unless you want me to run back in there and announce that we just gained another couple, my next ramen bill is on you.”

baby, it's cold outside
whoo, pushing the deadline a bit with this one, but i'm kind of glad i dragged it out all day. it gave me a chance to be a bit more thorough in going through it, which is good, because it's about twice as long as the others (drabble what?).
so, shikamaru is in my top three naruto men (top ten, maybe even top five of all anime men i can think of). i've loved him to death since i watched him bury hidan when it aired on disney xd for the first time. he was technically my second major anime crush, the first was gaara.
this is further proof that i'm nuts. i took this cheerful, fun song and made something... not that. it's pretty dramatic to begin with, then it's just some back and forth, and then the ending is happy-ish?
tbh, i'm divided over this one. part of me likes it, because i love writing shit that makes me cry (not hard at all, i get choked up over anything happy or sad) while i'm writing it (yes, i'm a masochistic bitch) and still makes me feel the pain when i look it over later. the other part of me is like, "this is so underdeveloped for you, and it has more to it than any of the others." to be fair, the others were all lighthearted, and i didn't feel the need to explain the character background. it just doesn't feel well rounded off, so i really ask for feedback on this one.
song- this does not vibe with the story in the least, except towards the end, i guess, but this is what i do.
word count: 2403- i seriously thought i was going to cap it off around 800. nope!
enjoy!
You couldn’t believe it. You were fighting to keep Shikamaru Nara, of all people, in one place. What had the world come to?
“Come on, Shikamaru!” You pouted, bordering on begging. “It’s freezing out there!”
“It’s got nothing on how cold my mom will be if I don’t come home,” he smoothly shut you down as he stood up from his seat on your couch.
“Your mom loves me, and she knows you’re here, so I doubt she’ll have much of a problem.”
“I have to report to the Hokage early,” he argued.
“This place is closer to the main building than yours is,” you refuted the validity of his point, leaning against the back of the couch.
He sighed, “I don’t have any-”
“You’re literally holding an outfit that I just mended for you. We can wash it,” you muttered, crossing your arms.
“You know that Ino will spread rumors if she finds out.”
“No, she won’t. She cares too much about us, especially since Temari is due back right after the new year. She wouldn’t risk ruining your chance.”
“What about anyone else who sees me leave in the morning?” He insisted, and you gave in.
“I really don’t think that many people give a shit, but fine, Shikamaru. Sorry I asked.”
He groaned in response. “Don’t be like-”
“Just get the fuck out!” You demanded, storming off to your room and slamming your door shut. You leaned back against the wood and slid down to the ground, tears welling in your eyes. For as many reasons as he had to not stay, you had a few of your own for wanting him to. He’d come over to have you sew up a pair of pants and shirt- his mother could have, but you’d spare him a lecture- and the two of you got talking, laughing, and drinking a little. It was fun, and you didn’t want to stop. That was the easiest answer. The others made you cry just thinking about them.
It was all too obvious that you liked him, you thought. Ino definitely caught on quickly enough, and while she wanted to play matchmaker, she didn’t dare get involved because of Temari. She just told you that you should tell him. He’d be nice about turning you down if he really had no interest in you, but you’d never know for sure if you didn’t take the chance. That had been back in July, and you felt no closer to doing it five months later than you had when she first suggested it. You were alone with him, a golden opportunity if there ever was one, but you couldn’t pluck up the courage.
Neither of those reasons were enough to get you to the point you were at, not even combined, but the third reason was the worst, and it was enough on its own. It was the reason you’d been so pushy and desperate for him to stay.
It was your first Christmas alone, and that day had been particularly brutal in reminding you of that. You were the child of a single father- your mother walked out when you were still too young to even remember her face- and he had passed away earlier that year after losing a battle to bronchitis and pneumonia after a life of struggling with a compromised immune system. You’d barely made it in time to say goodbye to him after your aunt- with whom you had a bit of a prickly relationship, just because of personalities clashing- wrote to you about it.
The two of you had belonged to Kusagakure, where you’d been trained to be a kunoichi. You were conveniently out of the village the day it was destroyed, which had left you both a little shaken. From there, you went to The Land of Waves to live with your aunt and her family. You hated it. You didn’t get along with your aunt or your two cousins, no matter how hard you tried. There was no one to test your skills against.
The day you turned eighteen, your father asked you to take a letter to his friend in Konoha, just to give you some space. You had gone back to The Land of Waves for no more than three weeks a year in the five or so years since then. Sometimes it was only two weeks, if he was feeling up to meeting you somewhere halfway between on the mainland to celebrate your birthday.
The week you would have headed back for his birthday had been really difficult, but you had distracted yourself with missions. Your birthday was ignored all together, despite the friends you’d made trying to do something for you. Birthdays had been hard, but they weren’t like Christmas, where every turn of your head shoved some reminder in your face. To be fair, your aunt had invited you back, so you knew you at least had somewhere to go, but you both acknowledged that it was probably best you kept your correspondence to letters every other month at the most. You knew your father would have wanted you to keep in touch with the only other family you knew.
Tears trickled down your face as you broke down in convulsing sobs. Figuring that you were alone, you didn’t bother to muffle them at all, purging all the hurt that had accumulated that day.
“Why’d you have to go, Dad?” You whispered to yourself.
You didn’t know how long you cried in your miserable position, but when you were finally done, you knew you needed to get some water, and quickly, or you’d have a headache to be reckoned with in no time. With great effort, you got to your feet and opened your door. Just outside it-
“What are you doing here?” You hoarsely questioned Shikamaru, who was leaning against the wall. It hit you that he might have been there the whole time you’d been crying, so he was not only seeing the aftermath on your face, but had heard your misery.
He sighed heavily. “I wish I could say that I was doing it to be a good friend, but I almost did leave. It took the blizzard that somehow snuck up on us to make me realize I didn’t want to go, and not just because of the snow.”
“You’re not just saying that out of pity, are you? If you are, I’ll throw you out the door myself.”
“Have you ever known me to do anything out of pity?” He quipped.
“No, but I haven’t seen you in a position like this either. The right circumstances can change behavior easily enough, even if you normally suck at emotional support.”
“I wouldn’t say I normally suck,” he argued.
“I would, but I know that you do have a heart.” Your lips curved into a weak smile. “Which is why I’m having a hard time ruling out the idea that you’re only here because you couldn’t conscienably leave me when you knew I was upset.”
“Tch, you don’t know me at all. I’ve run away from Ino more times than I can count when I know she’s upset.”
You laughed with a slight shake of your head. “I think there’s a difference between me and her. She’s one of the three women that you admit you respect, even when they push you around and give you grief. I don’t have to name the other two. I’m nowhere near that level.”
“You don’t think I respect you?” He arched his brow.
“I know you do, just not that much.” You motioned for him to follow you to get a drink and offered him one when you got a glass of water.
He took his time in responding to you as he took a seat, which you were fine with, too focused on hydrating.
“I do respect you that much.”
You shook your head. “Let me put it a little more plainly. Those three women are the ones you care about most. Your mother, Ino, and Temari. Kurenai and Mirai are special mentions, but they’re different. What do those three women have in common, genius? Besides being lovably demanding, that is.”
“Well, the first and second put the fear of God in me whenever they got pissed,” he grumbled. “And the third definitely scared me when I wasn’t even her target.”
“Not quite what I was aiming for. Is it so hard to admit that those women are set apart from the rest because you hold strong affection for each of them? Your mother is your family, Ino might as well be, and according to the rumor mill, Temari will be part of your family in the future.”
“Since when do you pay any attention to rumors?”
“A broken clock is right two times a day,” you stated simply. “It doesn’t take a rumor for me to see the way you look at her and with the banter you two exchange, I’m almost surprised you haven’t acted on all that tension. The two of you are pretty patient.”
“And if it’s not what you think?”
You set him with a smile that you really hoped wasn’t as melancholy as you felt at your core. “Tell me it isn’t. Tell me I’m talking out of my ass and I’ll drop this whole discussion.”
It was a mix of victory and aching when he couldn’t deny what you said right away. During his silence, you started on making hot chocolate, starting to feel the cold seep in. You offered him a mug, but he declined. There was nothing said until you were sipping on your beverage. You’d just about given up on getting an answer and were contemplating checking if it was as bad outside as he said it had been so you could kindly kick him out and finish your dismal evening alone.
“You’re troublesome. Especially when you’re right, even when it’s only partially,” he spoke up, his voice low and quiet.
“Then please, correct me if I’m partially wrong,” you sighed. “You and Temari have something, what else is there?”
“Yeah, we have something, but we can’t go out.”
“Because of the distance? Are you kidding me? That’s the biggest cop out I’ve ever heard.”
“The distance doesn’t help, but it’s really because she caught me looking at someone else a few times too many.”
You almost dropped your mug. “You? Looking at another woman? That’s ridiculous. Not speaking to your morality or anything, but I don’t think you have it in you to cheat.”
“I never would, but she wants me to be sure it’s her I want before making it real.”
“So, what are you going to do? How will you know when you’ll be able to commit without second guessing? Does this other woman know? Does she feel the same way? If the answer is yes to both of those, will you be able to be with her without wondering what might have been with Temari? I mean, you two are a good match.”
“You ask way too many questions.”
“And you provide too few answers.”
He heaved another sigh. “I don’t know what I’m going to do. I don’t know how I’ll be sure about one or the other enough to commit to a relationship, however long it would last. No, the other one doesn’t know. I don’t know exactly how she feels, but she isn’t repulsed by me.”
You chuckled and stirred your drink. “That’s always a good starting point. I guess you can only tell her and see what she says, but Temari deserves more than to feel like a consolation prize if this other one shoots you down. I understand trying to figure out which one balances you out better, but this is a really precarious situation. Temari won’t take a chance until she knows she’s got your full attention, which I understand completely. This other woman doesn’t know, you think-”
“No, I know that she doesn’t have a clue. We’ve had moments where she might have wondered, but it didn’t go beyond that.”
“Well then, I can’t really give you any suggestions without knowing more about her and your relationship with her. I think your best option is to try to move on from this girl. Optimally, no one gets hurt that way, unless she does feel the same about you, and seeing you with Temari hurts her… Again, I don’t have enough information to really consider the variable. I can just see where you and Temari have the best chance with the least amount of hurt feelings.”
“If shogi was a game of emotional warfare, you might actually win a match,” he said with a sly smirk.
“Bastard,” you couldn’t help laughing. “I would totally kick your ass at any game like that.”
Speaking of emotions, he wanted to ask if you were okay, but thought better of it. He knew what the story was, and it wasn’t lack of caring that held him back. He just didn’t want to upset you again, especially when you had brightened up.
“Yeah, I guess you would.”
Half an hour passed, and the two of you went back to what you were doing before he tried to leave.
“So, you don’t have to answer, and I wasn’t even going to ask, but I’m dying to know what other woman could turn your head,” you asked, finally giving into your curiosity and hoping it wasn’t someone else that was so different from you. You liked yourself well enough, but you had already been beaten down enough that hearing he was into a woman that had qualities you didn’t feel you could ever possess would chip at your self-esteem.
He didn’t respond, or acknowledge what you had said at all. You almost repeated it, but decided it wasn’t something that you should. You watched the special on television and tried to relax. It had gotten to be dark by the time that ended, but going on his word, you saw that the blizzard had let up.
“I’m glad you stayed,” you told him, looking out the window, “but I’m sorry you had to hear what you did. You should hurry and get going now, while it’s barely snowing.”
He glanced at you, and with a small smile you loved to see, he answered.
“Yeah, but it’s still really cold outside.”

santa baby (18+)
yet another naruto man i've never written for. my masterlist for this month is going to be so much more diverse than my main one, likely until next christmas, but it doesn't have the deeper stories. i am glad that i'm getting around to writing for kankuro. gaara is my favorite, no contest, but i think kankuro and i would have fun, in one form or another.
this is one of my top five christmas songs. tell me it doesn't have a christmas themed striptease potential. go ahead. it's not a striptease, but this fic is definitely nsfw. note, i still don't have a ton of practice with smut, so hopefully this one is still decent, because it's a lot more chill than the others i've written, and it's more about the sex with less emotional charge. feel free to give me tips, or let me know what i've done well.
disclaimer: the plot (or lack thereof) and takara only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue, fuck off and leave me alone.
song- this is the version i like best for this fic, but the original is tops. naya rivera and eartha kitt are just two boss bitch singers. i also recommend megan hilty's version.
word count: 1143
enjoy! nsfw below the cut.
You were so going on the naughty list this year, you thought as you pulled on your special Christmas surprise for your overworked boyfriend. It was a good thing you knew he loved you in red. You hooked the front closure babydoll that had rhinestones studding the cups, with lacy material circling your midsection, providing no real coverage, then parting to expose your navel. For bottoms, you had a red garter belt- crotchless, of course- with white stockings. With a mischievous grin, you completed the look with a Santa hat and your black special occasion heels.
Perfectly timed, you heard him enter through the front door of your home.
“I’m home,” he called, his tone heavy with exhaustion.
“Good. I have something for you, so sit down and relax.”
He heaved a sigh you could hear all the way back in your shared room. “Just for a minute. I still have six more puppets to finish.”
You smiled softly, and grew even more sure of what you were doing. Kankuro could be a major jackass when he wanted, but every Christmas season, he showed how tenderhearted he was by dedicatedly putting his passion and talent into creating puppets for children in the local hospital. He worked as a mechanical engineer during the weekdays, then he came home to work on his contribution for the toy drive. The man was a total sweetheart, and you loved to see him be a loving brother to his older sister and younger brother.
You were grateful for the carpet that prevented your heels from making any noise as you made your way out to him. He had dropped on the couch and stretched out, his legs resting on the arm opposite the one he was resting his head on. It worked out that he had his eyes closed when you reached the living room. With a grin, you tiptoed over to stand where he could see you, then used your phone to turn on your chosen music through the bluetooth stereo.
His eyes shot open, and at first he was confused, but when he got a good look at you, he bolted upright.
“Um… Wow. Where’d this come from?”
“The mall. Where do you think?” You laughed, reveling in the way his dark eyes hungrily devoured you. “I’ve been saving it for over a week, waiting for the right time, and I figured today was as good as any. I thought you could use some… stress relief.”
“You could definitely say that,” he muttered.
“Then lay back. You’ve been a very nice boy this year, but it’s time to take a walk on the naughty side,” you joked, gently pushing him down as you got on top of him.
He chuckled, then noticed the song you had chosen. “Is there an ulterior motive to this?”
“No. This is just one of my favorite Christmas songs that I felt set the mood.” You sat on his hips, feeling the denim of his pants against the bare skin of your privates. You carefully rubbed against him, eliciting a deep groan and thrust of his hips. “Ah, ah,” you gently reprimanded him. “I’m doing all the work here. You just relax.”
He responded with some unintelligible grumbling, followed by, “don’t make me wait too long.”
“I won’t,” you promised and went to unbutton him. He was already growing fast and you knew he likely wouldn’t last long, which would be fine. As long as he was satisfied.
He sighed and lifted his hips just enough for you to pull them down a bit. When that was done, you felt safe to grind harder against the soft material of his briefs, drawing more noise from him that was getting you hot. It had been awhile since the two of you had been together with enough time to allow you to really enjoy it, making it harder on you to completely push your own pleasure to the side.
When he said your name, you leaned down to muffle his moans with a deep kiss that ignited you both. His hands began to greedily grope and grab you, and you allowed it as you shifted your mouth to his neck, nipping lightly while your hands tugged at his dark brown hair.
“Takara, if you want to take things further, you better move,” he panted, embarrassed by his lack of endurance.
You nodded and gave him a love bite he’d easily be able to hide, then directed your attention back to his groin. Fingers freed his erect cock, and after spitting in your hand, you gave him a few gentle pumps.
“Ready?”
He nodded. You poised your entrance over his dick, then sank onto it as you leaned down to lovingly kiss him once more.
“You’re lucky I’m so tired, or you wouldn’t be calling the shots like this,” he mumbled when you pulled back, straightening up.
“I know, but you are so tired, which is why I’m doing this. You’re more than deserving. Now, shut up and enjoy it.”
“Yes, ma’am- Oh…”
His reactive moan when you rolled your hips just the right way sent shivers down your spine. He stared up at you with eyes glazed over with want and need.
You didn’t torture him, your hips maintaining a decent pace. It was as fast as you felt you could go without losing your ability to focus on him.
“Faster,” he demanded, gripping your hips.
So much for that. Obediently, you sped up, but there was a stutter in your movement when he bucked upwards.
“Kuro, you can’t do that if-”
He did it again, and you moaned. It felt amazing, but you wanted him to relax, not strain himself further.
“Kankuro, I’m try-”
The smirk on his face said that he knew exactly what you were doing, and he wasn’t okay with it. Both of you would get off, or he’d likely stop it right there, difficult as that would be.
“Fine,” you said with an airy laugh. “Just because I said you’d been nice, you have to prove me wrong.”
So faster you went, growing louder and less controlled. He continued to thrust up into your heat until he emptied himself into you and became truly exhausted. You weren’t far behind him. Close enough that he hadn’t gone completely flaccid yet.
“Shit,” he chuckled. “I would have run home if I’d known that was waiting for me.”
“Then you wouldn’t have had enough energy,” you sighed, electing to stay right where you were and keep his cock nice and warm. You took the hat off and dropped it on his face. “Have I been good enough to get presents?”
“Baby, naughty or nice, you know I’ll buy you presents year round,” he said as he used the hat to cover his eyes only. “I’m the only Santa you’ll ever need.”

you're a mean one, mr. grinch
day two! score.
here's proof that i can draw inspiration for a story from a song that will probably leave you scratching your head. i wrote this while listening to the title song on loop for over two hours.
anyway, this is a first time for me! i've never written obito in my life, but @whatshernameis (doing her own monthly challenge, and it's super cute) and @half-baked-biscuit (check them out, they're awesome) got me thinking about him and... well, i tried. i need to invest in his character more if this is going to ever happen again.
i think that's pretty much all i have to say.
disclaimer: the plot and unnamed character only are mine to own, so if you feel inclined to sue me, fuck off and leave me alone.

enjoy!
You swore you were going to paint the man green and cover him in fake fur so his appearance matched his attitude. Why you thought he of all people would be willing to help you, you’d never know.
“Come on!” You urged. “Obito, I have too many decorations to do it all by myself!” “And whose fault is that?” He questioned, not looking up from his phone.
“But they get cuter decorations in the stores every year, and people keep giving me homemade ones!”
“Then start tossing old ones out.”
“I’ve already tossed out everything that’s not sentimental!” You pouted.
“Have you tried alternating which years you put up which decorations?”
“That’s sacrilege,” you scoffed, crossing your arms. “Look, I’ll see if Kakashi and Rin can come help, and when this is all done, I’ll make you dinner and bake your favorite cookies. Is that enough of a bribe?”
He eyed you with a faint smile and light sigh as he stood up from his seat. “Those cookies better melt in my mouth.”
“Yes!” You cheered, throwing your arms around him. “I’ll text the others, you can decide what Christmas music we start with, and then we’ll get the boxes out. Let’s hurry and find the mistletoe. If we get it up quick, you might be able to snag a kiss with Rin!”
As soon as you released him, your thumbs were flying over your phone screen, sending a message to the other half of your close friend group. When you had done that, you looked to Obito, who was standing there, in no hurry to do anything.
“Do you have the music picked already?”
“Christmas music really isn’t my thing.”
“Great,” you grumbled. “Somebody call Dr. Seuss to let him know his Grinch is loose.”
He gave a low chuckle and playfully flicked your nose. “I think if you rhyme enough and throw in a few made up words, he’ll magically appear. You’ve already got a good start.”
You felt your cheeks warm a little and quickly turned away. “Fine, go get the boxes while I get some Christmas cheer going.”
That first hour dragged on as the two of you worked around each other.
“Are they coming or not?” He asked as the two of you set up the small, artificial tree.
“They are, but Kakashi was in the middle of doing something for his dogs, and Rin was just starting out her Christmas shopping.”
“...So they’re not coming,” he sighed, earning a gentle whack to the arm.
“Is being alone with me really so bad?”
He sent you a faint smirk. “You don’t want me to answer that.”
“Dick,” you huffed. The two of you didn’t talk as you set up the lights and tinsel. Then you were getting out the little ornaments. “Please, be extra careful with some of these. They’re old and falling apart. I haven’t figured out the safest way to repair them yet, or if they even can be.”
“Then why are you putting them out?”
“Because it wouldn’t be Christmas without the memories attached to them. Nearly every single one of these was given to me over the years by someone I greatly care for, or are attached to a special event. Like this one my grandmother bought for my very first Christmas. It’s extra special since she passed away a few years ago.”
“I remember that,” he said, watching you delicately handle the ornament of a baby sitting on a cartoonish looking reindeer, hanging by glittering gold threads from a sign that read ‘Baby’s 1st Christmas’. It was clearly at least twenty years old, with little chips in the clay, and some paint peeling away. “We didn’t know each other well then, and I thought you were the most depressing person ever, but then Rin told me.”
“Can’t blame you for that,” you spoke softly as you set the ornament in a designated place, one of the most visible spots on the tree.
The rest went up, one by one. Occasionally, he would remark on some of the crazier ones, and you’d laugh as you told him the story behind them. The last one, you had set aside, making sure it wouldn’t be bumped by the others. It was a clear glass ball that started with some sort of artistic design, but became messy and reckless when the painter got bored.
His eyes widened a bit when he saw it.
“That’s the one I did two years or something ago.”
“Yep. You let Rin drag you along with the rest of us to make our own,” you said as you placed it in a gap, perfectly completing the arrangement. “You didn’t care about it, but it broke my heart to think of you tossing it, so you gave it to me.”
“I figured you would have tossed it by now.”
“I might have, but a certain Grinch became someone I deeply care about. So it joined the ranks and will stay until I decide it’s not something I need to keep, or the Grinch in question decides he wants it back.”
He softly smiled, touched to hear you talk about him so fondly. The two of you had been friends for years, but it never got to be an intimate friendship. You’d barely grown closer in the recent few years than you had in the first month. At least, he’d thought so.
“Well, we better get that mistletoe up, if you want to get that kiss,” you said, clearing your throat of sentiment. You glanced at him, and the emotion in your eyes did something to him. The tenderness in his did something to you.
“Obito, I-” you spoke barely above a whisper, but cut off when he gently pressed his thumb to your lips and hooked a finger under your chin.
“The Grinch never cared for any Christmas traditions, so forget that stupid decoration.” Then he moved his thumb and gave you the softest kiss you’d ever received. It was the gentleness of a snowflake landing on your face, the satisfaction of a spoonful of Christmas pudding, and the warmth of a low-burning fire.
A light, content sigh followed the end.
“Still the Grinch?” He questioned with a grin.
“The Grinch was still the Grinch after he saved the Christmas he stole,” you teased. “So yeah, you are, but you’re the Grinch that everybody loves at the end of the story.”
“Everybody?”
“Yeah, everybody.”
Later that evening, as the two of you cuddled and watched the movie you’d been referencing all day, it wasn’t only the Grinch’s heart that felt like it grew three sizes.

enjoy! putting a read more line here because even though it's not all that long, i don't want it hogging up your screen.
The party was in full swing with music and liveliness, but you were too busy pouting as you looked out the window, wishing you saw snow on the ground, or at least falling. Sure, it was still early in the month, but you wanted your white Christmas, damn it.
“Hey! Come on!” a familiar, rough voice called to you. “Why aren’t you having fun?”
“I am having fun,” you said, facing Naruto as he approached you, carrying two cups of punch. With a slight smirk, you took the cup he offered you and added, “I’m having fun speculating who’s going to win the ugly sweater contest. You’re in first place, hands down.”
Leave it to Naruto to find an ugly orange Christmas sweater.
“Some friend you are!” He griped.
You just laughed. “Hey, that’s a good thing. I don’t even know what the prize is. It might be free coupons for ramen.”
“That would be so cool!”
You gave him a little nod and sipped your punch. The two of you chatted a bit longer, and you promised him to join the party. So you made your way to the refreshments table, snagged some of your favorite cookies, then worked your way through the crowd, exchanging pleasantries with familiar faces.
“Oh, good, you’re here!” Ino said when she saw you. “Look, I need you to be chill for five minutes, and work with me.”
You sent her a bemused look. “I was feeling pretty chill, but now I’m really concerned.”
“Just go along with it. It’ll be over faster if you do,” Sakura said, standing beside the bubbly woman. “I promise, it’s nothing huge.”
“Okay, but why me?”
“Can’t tell you, now come here!” Ino chirped, grabbing your arm and dragging you away from the throng.
“Right this second?” You grumbled as you stumbled along.
She led you to an empty hallway, where you noticed a sprig of mistletoe hanging above.
“Ino, are you-?”
“Someone here really wants to kiss you, but they’re a little nervous about how you’ll react. If you agree, I’m going to blindfold you, then get them. You can’t take the blindfold off until I come back and tell you they’re gone, okay?”
“So I’m just supposed to kiss someone who could be a total stranger-”
“No, you know them pretty well!” She insisted.
“-and then we just go on our merry way? I don’t get to know?”
“They’ll tell you on Christmas day, and with any luck, you’ll want to kiss them again. Trust me, it’s completely safe, and I know this person would never hurt you in a million years.”
Once more, you were befuddled. “Against my better judgment, fine. I need something to liven up my holiday.”
A little squeak of excitement came from her as she produced a thick, wide red ribbon and tied it around your head, making sure it was secure, and that you couldn’t see through it.
“Okay, they’ll be here soon!”
Once you were pretty sure she was gone, you sighed and leaned against the wall. “I have no one to blame but myself if I wind up dead and stuffed in one of the closets here.”
It didn’t seem like very long before you sensed another presence. “Hello?”
No response. “Alright, I can appreciate a good mystery. I think I trust you enough just based on the fact that you got Ino to help you. We’ll just see how this goes, and if it doesn’t go well, you can maintain your anonymity. Fair?”
Their answer was to abruptly press their lips to yours. Your mind immediately tried to determine who it could be by using your senses. Their lips were soft. Soft like a girl who regularly used lip balm or gloss, you weren’t sure. Your own lips were a bit chapped, so you didn’t think you were getting an accurate read. They must have passed through the crowd at some point, because you could detect a variety of scents on them, making it impossible to go by that.
Their hands went to your waist, and while you could have tried to feel those, you opted to focus on the kiss itself. It was tender, and you could tell they were treading lightly. Your hands rested on their arms- they wore a thick enough coat that you couldn’t even gauge those- and you deepened it just slightly, giving them permission to take it further.
They did, and there was no question about your eagerness to find out who they were.
It evolved into a hungry liplock where moans were exchanged, leaving you wondering if it was going to go even further than just a kiss on the lips. Just as the heat between you reached its peak, they pulled away. Disappointed, you resisted the urge to pull them back, while they brushed a gloved hand over your cheek, then took your hand and placed a folded note in it before fleeing. You obediently waited for Ino to return and uncover your eyes.
“So, how was it?” She questioned, sending you a sly look that told you she knew. “You might want to go fix yourself in the bathroom before going back. Do you have any idea who it might be?”
“No,” you scoffed. “It could have been you for all I know.”
“Guess they covered their bases. Well, it gives you another reason to look forward to Christmas.”
You nodded. “Yeah, I guess so.”
She left you to go straighten up like she suggested, and as soon as you got to the restroom, you read the note your potential soon-to-be significant other left you. They didn’t even give you a hint with their handwriting, writing it out in what must have been painstakingly careful script that could have been typed.
Have a holly jolly Christmas, and I’ll find you under the mistletoe the day of to finish what we started.
To say the very least, you weren’t so hung up anymore on whether or not there’d be snow.

Rain Rendezvous ☁️
Literally nobody asked for this but I had to get it out to the universe. I really hope ya’ll enjoy!
Pairing: Sasuke x f!reader
Warnings: fluff, mentions of adult content, minor NSFW hints, soft sasuke, minor heartache, slow burn
Word Count: 6.5k
Tumblr media
Sasuke cursed under his breath as he ran along the muddied, contorted path. The field surrounding him was pitch black, the only illumination coming from the chaotic bursts of lightning in the distance, showing that this long forgotten path was leading him to one of the smallest villages he had ever seen.
Can you even call this a village? He wondered as he made his way past the first few, wooden houses and stood underneath a small awning. His dark hair dripped down his shoulders, his clothes fully soaked through, as he continued to watch the heavy downpour in front of him. His teeth began to chatter as he observed his surroundings; the village was small, maybe occupying one hundred civilians, if that. The houses were made of stone and wood, a cute likeness all throughout their exteriors, mirroring each other in design. They looked very much like the gingerbread houses he used to make with Itachi during the holidays, but sized-up so that actual people could live in them.

anything gaara is just about a guaranteed spot on this blog, but this was just beautiful.
i totally see gaara as timid about sex initially, but given time and experience, he turns into this. still really private (or as private as possible when the mood strikes) but that commanding attitude applies to every aspect of his life eventually. i can see the panty stealing as a reminder to both him and his woman (in this case) that she's his.
cue the huge ass wanton sigh.
now i have some writing priorities to rearrange...
Quickie

You squeezed your eyes shut, your mouth falling open and your head falling back. There was a loud thunk as the back of your head met the wall. “Ahh,” you groaned, both pain and pleasue coursing through you.
“Shh,” your lover hushed, a strained smirk on his lips. “You’re going to get us caught.”
“S-sorry.” Your grip on the back of his neck tightened, moving your hips in attempts to take in more of his swollen length. The stretch burned, a lack of preparation causing a majority of your struggle, but it just further spurred you on.
“Fuck.” The gravel of his voice made you shiver. “Too tight,” he grunted, his hands moving to hold your legs further apart while remaining wrapped around his waist. The soft texture of his sand held you against the wall, preventing you from hitting your head again. “Relax.”
Nodding wordlessly, you tried to relax your muscles but the more he sunk into you the more your walls fluttered around him. He felt like the perfect limbo, the familiar stretch and length a pleasure while the rushed entrance was a torture. His breathing hitched as he finally bottomed out, he paused to allow you both a moment to adjust.
It wasn’t like you weren’t wet, you most certainly were. Everything about him turned you on. The seafoam green of his eyes, the bright red of his hair, the commanding mannerisms of a Kazekage, your favorite was that voice. So deep, so rugged, and it only got better with the weight of pleasure on his tongue. You wished he would talk more.
“I thought we were supposed to be quick.” You were panting and once you were readjusted to his large size, you bucked your hips into his. He grunted, nodded his head, and began to move his hips with yours. The more he thrust into you the wetter you became, until you could feel your arousal ease his every move. “Mmm, Gaara.”
“Not so loud,” he repeated, his breathing just as labored. “They’ll be in the next room for the meeting any minute.”
His hand reached down and began searching for your clit, his slippery fingers briefly touched your widened entrance and you gasped. The redhead shivered at the sound, his thrusts beginning to increase in speed. When his fingers found that bundle of nerves his sand moved to cover your mouth to muffle your cries. The tightening in your abdomen told you that you were approaching your peak, but you didn’t want to. You wanted to stay in this broom closet, connected to the one you loved, taking pleasure in each other’s bodies, even if only a little bit longer. You locked your legs around his hips, preventing him from pulling out. An almost inaudible growl rumbled from his throat, his grip became bruising, and his hips smacked into yours with abandon. He squeezed his eyes shut in concentration and you wanted to remove the sand to kiss him, to swallow his delicious grunts and groans.
He paused and you let out a whine, but you couldn’t help but freeze when you heard the doorknob begin to turn. You looked at him with wide eyes, his sand quickly shuffling over to lock the door and push against it incase the person had a key. As you impatiently waited for the person to leave, his fingers began to circle your clit once again. Another muffled moan tore through you.
The Kazekage was no longer looking at you, he continued to watch the doorknob jiggle as he played with your throbbing bud. It was an intense feeling; the mixture of anxiety from possibly being caught, his deft fingers changing direction, his cock throbbing as it waited impatiently inside you. Your fingernails dug into his clothed shoulders and your body trembled as you came, quiet whines leaving you. His eyes squeezed shut, your spasming walls causing him to lose concentration and let out a shaky breath.
“Guess I’ll need to get the keys,” came the muffled voice of the disgruntled janitor. Your heart was thrumming too loudly in your ears for you to hear his footsteps as he left, but as soon as the Kazekage was sure he was gone he moved his molten orbs back to you.
“You’re so filthy,” he grunted, his hips resuming their brutal pace. You were oversensitive and the resumed friction made your toes curl. “Cumming with someone else in earshot.”
His thrusts were beginning to lose rhythm, his sack smacked against your ass loudly. His fingers hadn’t stopped moving. His sand left your mouth and you leaned forward almost immediately. You buried your head in his neck and began mouthing at the covered skin, wishing you could tear through it and leave your marks on his pale skin. “Are you going to cum again?”
You nodded as well as you could. The redhead’s lips began to pepper your exposed neck with sloppy kisses of his own. You were so close, for the second time. To further chase that high, you began to grind against him messily. The changing angles made him scrape against that spongy part inside of you with every drag out. “G-Gaara,” you warned.
“Me to-oo,” he stuttered, his hips almost erratic. The sand at your back began to shift, trembling with the one who commanded it. The grip he had on your hips became painful and his teeth dug into your skin, marking you in the way you wanted to mark him. His arms shook as he moved to whisper in your ear. “Cum.”
How could you disobey a command like that?
Your eyes rolled back; his tip pressed against your cervix like it belonged there. A loud mewl began to leave your lips and he quickly covered them with his own. His hips stuttered and you felt the telltale warmth of his spend as your walls massaged it out of him. You licked his lips, desperately seeking his tongue to try and ground yourself. He continued to twitch inside of you, spurt after spurt making you feel full, and he groaned into your mouth as your tongues met.
He removed his fingers from your sex and brought that same shaky hand up to cup your cheek. Your head tilted and you licked the roof of his mouth. After a few more seconds, he began to soften and pulled out of you slowly. A shiver ran through you at the feeling of his semen leaking out and onto your thighs. The Kazakage lowered you to the ground gently, his breathing still rapid. You clutched his shoulders, your legs not quite ready to stand.
“Sorry,” he began, adjusting his clothes and putting himself away. A shame, you thought. Gaara placed a gently kiss to your forehead. “Are you alright?”
“I’m more than alright.” You smirked. He smiled. His gentle hands began to help you fix your clothing, his sperm drying against your thighs. He gave you a hesitant look as he placed your panties in his robes, you snickered.
Once you were able to walk again the two of you went to the door. Gaara leaned down and placed a loving kiss against your swollen lips. “I may be a bit late today.”
“And I’ll be waiting,” you teased.
He opened the door, and you poked your head out, looking to the right before looking the left. You didn’t see anyone, so you both began to step out of the closet before you heard someone clear their throat. You flushed in embarrassment while Gaara sighed, his older brother was leaning against the wall hidden by the door. “Did you guys have a good time?”

not to be demanding, but if i don't see more reblogs along with the likes, i'm not going to keep pressuring myself to put stuff out. i've reached a point where i seriously just write for myself, which starts and ends in my google drive where my friends can see it.
i'm not big enough on here for my writing to be missed by more than one or two people, and i don't see myself getting any bigger, which is fine, but i'm not going to keep putting out content only to see a dismal amount of notes, with likes being the majority.
it's a hard truth, but if you're just liking things and not reblogging or at least commenting, you're pretty useless in giving creators motivation. if you're okay with being that person, fine, but don't complain when they complain about not seeing why they should release their content to please you.
in my next ted talk: the lazy asses who repost with no effort to find the real creator to credit, and the monsters who claim it for themselves.
pls… i beg of you… reblog creations… or else there won’t be any more creations
