Hello everyone! Here is the receipt to the zine’s donation of 600 AUD towards WIRES! Hopefully this contribution will help in recovery efforts. At the end of 2020, the WIRES Wildlife blog released a webinar led by the CEO of WIRES who, alongside other wildlife and fauna exports, discusses the impact of the wildfires and the process to recovery within the last year. They mention that native trees and plants are sprouting, and birds are returning to their habitats! Hi there! We will get them shipped out as soon as possible, but can’t give you an exact estimate. It totally depends where you’re from, but for the physical order it should be within two weeks! As for the PDF, we do those in batches, so it will come soon :D -- Mod Charlie

My piece for the Beyond the Darkest Day pokemon zine! I picked Bea for my subject since she’s my favorite trainer (I love her design ;_;) and I decided to draw her and her Pokemon enjoying some sweets together on a day off.

The stairs were a challenge but I was determined to use scenery from the game for my illustration and the weathered steps with the banners and lamps are one of the more striking parts of her hometown.

I’m so glad I finally get to share my full piece from the @swordandshieldzine!! I had a total blast doing this and getting to be part of a zine with such wonderful and talented people.
