MOMENTS OF INNER CHILD - muse edition show the world key moments of your muse's child and inner child.

Infant: Minthara was a very affectionate baby, eager to hide herself in her mother's hair as she clung to her shoulder. Always needed prompting to watch the ceremonies she was brought to attend because she was too busy watching her mother's face and then watching the other children who were brought to watch. Put in a little dress that resembles her mother's, She is safe here with Mother, because Mother protects her, she knows Mother will protect her.

Child: Obedience makes Mother happy. She cannot defy Mother. Minthara looks around quickly to make sure no one else was here to watch how she briefly neglected her training, she'll only be just a moment. "Come here, come here." She turns and reaches for the mewling displacer beast, leaning down on her stomach to prompt the cub out. Then once she has it she drags it into her arms and takes off back to the training ring, and runs quickly.

Adult: Minthara stares down at the dead drider, a foot moving to nudge the sharp pinnacles that made up his legs. Even in death, Kar'niss still cried out to the Absolute, acting as a lost lover who was left to the abyss of oblivion. "Hm.." She starts as they survey the flesh tomb of Ketheric's escape. "Did I ever tell you about the man who married a drider?" She finishes, fighting a smile as she turns to address the rest of the group. "It was a beautiful webbing."

what made you pick up the muse you have? i wanted to try tumblr rp again (i had once in the past but i never stuck with it) and a friend convinced me it wasn’t so scary so i got to thinking well… who can i write and who do i kind of want to write? in my former rpc community, marvel was NOT a hot place… garbage fire actually, and if you were writing a canon it was even more of a dumpster fire. that being said, i really wanted to try my hand at peter parker, and i’d already been writing a lot for him outside of rp for fun. i used to have a little fic type thing that was ic/first pov and it brought me a lot of joy. liam was a test, more than anything. i’m surprised that they’re still a muse i write. they were an oc i made with a friend for fun and i thought why not give it a go and the love has just been so overwhelming that i can’t imagine a blog without liam and peter. they’re a package deal

is there anything you don’t like to write? probably just smut? i don’t think anything else comes to mind

is there anything you really enjoy writing? chaotic and nonsensical threads will always be some of my favorite. often it’s something i can write a lot quicker but also makes me think and try new things. i love when a thread makes me learn. i love learning so also any threads that open my eyes to something or broaden my knowledge about a subject. crossovers are really good for this because i get to explore new shows/movies or revisit loved ones.

how do you come up with your headcanons? something probably happened to me in the moment or i stared at a pinterest board or i heard it in a song

do you write in silence or do you play music? it takes a very specific kind of music to make me write. i either have to be so disinterested and unfamiliar with it or extremely familiar, like know all the words and the pacing. this has led to some embarrassing top five end of year songs

do you plan your replies or wing them? mostly i just wing it but if i get an idea for a future piece of dialogue or concept i will write it down in my notes

do you enjoy shipping? yes, but i don’t think it’s a must or priority! i love it if it happens or if you have any interest in it, but i’m not really always thinking about it

what’s your alias/name? birdie! i’ve had some mutuals call me bird too. i think it’s funny when people use the phrase “a little birdie told me” and i love to see posts with it and laugh to myself about it.

favorite color? red, but i’m not sure what shade

favorite song? i don’t have one but anything by bleachers or florence + the machine i will always love. lately ive been enjoying my kink is karma by chapell roan

5 things you associate with your muse !

EMOTIONS.

001. elation - rodrick doesn't often feel his emotion's as half-lived things, he feels them full on and too - much and elation is often a part of that spectrum that he operates on for the public. it's a gimmick, but one that's deeply ingrained in him. 002. loneliness - at his core, rodrick is a very lonely guy. he pretends to be okay with that, but he also tries to forge meaningful, long term relationships in other ways. 003. fear - on a whole, rodrick is always in a state of fear that he hates. it comes in waves, and it's most often active at night, but fear is an emotion he's highly familiar with. 004. joy - it's a rarity to talk to rodrick in any state but joy. if he's actually sad, you'll never know; he's a professional at keeping his emotional range to a limit. 005. guilt - this is, by far, the thing that rodrick struggles the most with. it never leaves him. even when he's preaching, it's like a noose around his neck he can never escape.

WARDROBE.

001. cowboy hat - you'll never see rodrick without his hat on. if he takes it off, his hair is sweaty and flat so he just never takes it off. 002. cowboy boots - our preacherman is known for his boots. he has 20+ (not counting his grandfather or father's collection) pairs of boots and about half are comically bright, loud boots he wears on special occasions. 003. black, jeans. they sit high on his hips. he used to wear them loose before a snake crawled up his pantleg, now he wears them tight enough that nothing can slither up (or down) his pants. 004. black button down with lapel clips. 005. white wife beater. some are a little yellow because he's a sweaty boy, but they're otherwise very worn and white.

OBJECTS.

001. lighter. he's got an extensive collection of silver lighter holder's for his lighter and he's proud of them. 002. cadillac. if you see the blue cadillac comin', that's the preacher. 003. hankerchief. he keeps one on him and he'll pull it out to wipe the sweat off his forehead like a dandy in the 40's. 004. smokes. his back pocket has a permanent imprint from his pack in all of his jeans. all of them. 005. rosary. rodrick walks around with his rosary in his fist. if you see his fist clenched while he's walking around, it's most likely hidden inside there.

VICES.

001. smoking. 002. breaking chastity (considers his assault his fault) 003. greed. 004. wrath. 005. self flagellation.

ACTIONS.

001. rubbing his face. while he talks to people, rodrick often touches his own face (wiping his nose, pulling on his ear, scratching his jaw). 002. adjusting his hat. he often tips his head back, he'll take it off and run it over his hair to smooth it back or hold his hat against his chest, etc. 003. putting his hands on his hips. this gesture also extends to putting his hands on his lower back and on his ribs. his back hurts, leave him alone. 004. laughing with his head thrown back. he loves to laugh, make him throw his head back with laughter and you're in his good books. 005. staring. if he's really invested in what you're saying, he oftne forgets to blink.

this is like. what's the opposite of catnip. it's a bingo of things i hate. mental illness (all mental illness! everywhere! for everyone!) is purely biological, and also every mentally ill person has their "real self" and their "mental illness" and ne'er the twain shall meet, but it is not sad or bad to have a biological problem that makes your life difficult or even threatens your life and makes you feel very bad on a regular basis, and also mental illness (all mental illness! everywhere! for everyone!) does not control your life, so long as you can adjust. like you see this all the fucking time and it makes me crazy every single time: a concept of mental illness that (1) flattens all experiences of mental illness into one undifferentiated blob of Problems, But Not That Bad (2) medicalizes completely while also (3) totally erasing the possibility of untreatable or life-controlling (dare i say: life-ruining?) mental illnesses. mental illness is biologically inherent to you, BUT if it's controlling your life, well, that seems like a you problem because why didn't you just adjust to it so you can manage it in a safe way? and, bonus, posturing a level of expertise to suggest they are to be listened to in explaining this unbelievably complex topic which is poorly understood by even many trained professionals who spend their entire lives dealing with it.
