Sol had always been aware of the hunters who came after his kind, but he never expected what happened that day. The sound of bullets, of knives tearing into flesh, of the vehemence with which those hunters wanted to wipe them out. His mom had been severely wounded, and his siblings murdered right before his eyes. He’d only survived because his father had thrown himself ontop of Sol as several bullets tore into his back. Sol can still taste the blood, can still hear the cackles of malicious glee as those hunters made it their business to let the bodies rot in the hot sun. And he remembered every face, every freckled, every crooked smile.

Filled with grief and rage unliked anything he’d ever known, Sol built the funeral pyre for his deceased, letting the skies fill with the smoke as his tears ran down his cheeks. Weeks had gone by and he still didn’t know what had happened to his mother after she’d been pushed into the river. But he knew he would find her, his Grandfather had vowed vegence against those hunters just as Sol had, and it had been easy to hunt them down. He hunted them just as they had the lions that protected this land. And he made sure to herd them to the water, tasting their fear and he watched them drown, heard them beg for mercy and he gave them none.

Beher had cared for his Grandson while the cub healed, but nothing could heal the scars in his heart, nor the grief of the family he lossed. But the only saving grace was the Mother that still loved. Months had passed before Beher finally informed Sol where his mother had ended up and had given him the resources he needed to seek her out. And so Sol set out on his journey, with a single minded focus on finding his Mother. And now that he’s been reunited with both her and his sister, there’s nothing stopping him from working to maintain the little bit of family he has left. The only thing left to do is to make sure nothign takes it from him again.

Roi fighting as a Dark Knight should be TERRIFYING. Not only is it bloody and violent, but the powers he uses are not common and look evil as shit. But it isn’t even just that. Roi looks like a monster fighting. He pushes himself to the brink, ofter breaking bones and nearly bleeding out while doing so. He is FUELED by his own pain, as it makes his dark side stronger. It is not one of those places rife with a thin veil to prod at. It’s a challenge, making compact enough technology to achieve the goal, and now it is a monthly ordeal. Hopefully no one will follow through that little secret portal the club fixed up by the shore here. It would be bad news to have... onlookers.”

“Not having a house to sleep in can be rough. Well, it is rough, really. The ramparts do well when in Kul Tiras to make up for some of it. Otherwise, a good hideaway alley will do the trick. Here, however, well! The Kul Tirans do a solid transition of their guards, and they are quite focused on marching in and marching out and not doing much else at all! Hopefully no one stumbles upon the few bed spaces that have been cobbled together among the ammunition and alcohol, because really, the only people through these halls tend to be military.”
