He'd had the satisfaction of a kill, a satisfaction he hadn't had in many long years. Not since his integration into Hylian norms. He'd forgotten how it felt to overpower prey, feel their life draining from battered bodies when their last laboursom breaths came. And the light left those eyes.
He'd only turned on Ganondorf as he neared, unbridled instinct urging him to defend his claim. He didn't blame his vevi for making him meet the ground, he couldn't, no matter how it stunned him. He calmed after a momentary stuggle, breathing heavy from excursion and shaking slightly from adrenaline. He swallowed thickly, " I saved you some, ne vevi. "
