to those complaining about female muses not getting any ships with male muses: stop making your female muses needy and throw them at any males they interact with and maybe you can plot something worthwhile. my male muses give plenty of attention to the female muses (and i have het ships plots) but i avooooiiiiid the female muses who are only thirsty for dick. so, it's not about the gender, it's about how YOU as the mun write your muses.

What’s the harm in women saying that men suck?… // It also means every1 knows that F muses (gen) are saying men suck but are also trying to get with men. I have a hard time with my M muse (who is het) finding a romantic connection because either the F muses will want to be babied which he's not into, bully him or be mean/degrading and call it flirting, or jump in on the "men suck". It's hard for him to find equal, good energy, but F muses will keep saying yaoi, etc. or say they get no attention.

the last few asks here reek of misogyny when you know damn well it's mostly cis fem het muns internalizing it, making their clearly fetishized gay muses do groupcest in a heartbeat, say women are "flirting" with them due to a simple hello, ignore women in general, prioritize male interactions.. // not even going to unpack everything here bc there’s so much i disagree with. but yes, weird fujos in krp exist, but don’t act like there aren’t normal muns who simply feel uncomfortable about their muses feeling trash talked in a gc without them (or even muns IN that gc who just feel uncomfortable with the energy that’s been created), and that should be enough reason to stop. if you have such an issue with the way men are written in that group (if you even are a member), leave it. i don’t want to add fuel to the fire, so let me just say that i’m not a member of that group either. if admins have already stepped in, i don’t see why this conversation needs to be continued if it’s just fueled by both sides making arguments that barely touch on the original issue anymore.

And prejudice is an opinion not based on reason or actual experience. anyone else tired of the “fem lean” / “hetflex��� muses in hot sugar straight up just chasing dick instead of giving the actual females chances? // idc if they identify as "fem lean" since that doesn't just suddenly erase their attraction to men (and thinking otherwise is weirdly biphobic, even in rp). the hetflex muses though, that's a little different, and it is strange if they're just dick-chasing. even weirder is a het male muse making passes at men too, which has happened.

Why do writers in gen undervalue friendship connections? There are anons in Connect complaining about the people they’re interested in being taken and they’ll only be friends. // i mean this in the nicest way possible but…. what did you expect from gen rp writers? the entire allure of them is that people can play pretend that they’re dating their biases and texting their faves. hence why most gen rpers don’t actually research the idol, they just take whatever face they want and write as their ooc self. i’ve found rpers that value platonic relationships the most in au rps. i was even able to have a non-het male muse have many friends without it turning romantic at all

what are your top rp mun red flags? // people complain about fem muses all the time but as someone that rps a lot of male muses, it is suuuuper obvious when the other male muses only want to either 1) do mlm only and face chase certain muses or 2) try to get with every girl and try to act like the badass main character of the group

so the first big red flag for me is when muns make their male muses the typical tattoo, biker aesthetic het guy with no real personality or depth outside of “cool and sexy.” usually they will flat out ignore making other connections with any muses that aren’t fem and/or wanting a romantic/sxual plot. and flirt desperately in the gcs with every girl.

2nd big red flag: the mlm obsessed people usually will go off about their muse’s kinks right off the bat or use overly suggestive language in relation to their muse.
