omfg i can talk about this question with kakashi for SO LONG. theres. so much. we’re both fucking dumb as rocks sometimes.

when we were both genin he used to always wait around until my other teammates were gone because he absolutely despised them. well not despise, greatly dislike. i mean he disliked MOST people but. still. sora was too loud and rambunctious and rei was rude and didnt care for the rules and, also, rambunctious. he’d show up to talk/hang out with me once they were gone but i caught on eventually that he was waiting around like a sneaky goober. he wouldve probably gotten away with it too if he didnt accidentally fall down from the roof that one time, or accidentally lose his footing against the wall that other time, or accidentally body flickered right next to us. yeah. sora and rei would laugh and have a field day teasing him about trying to get alone with me and he’d pout and argue with them and storm off and, show up again 5 minutes after they left.

im completely dumb with my feelings and ive probably told kakashi that i love him but in, like, a friends way. he almost freaked out the first time i said this once i clarified and he was pretty annoyed and me being me was just like ????? but youre my best friend of course i love you???? as a friend!!!! and he’d just sigh and pout on the 20 stupid daydreams he has in his head from his stupid books.

much later on when he was genuinely interested in being with me he definitely, absolutely took advice from guy, sora, and rei. the first two ofc give the best advice possible.

sora: charm them with your looks!

guy: give them the most beautiful bouquet of flowers!

sora: oh! or take them to the cherry blossom forest at sunset!!

HMMM...... i think i mightve if kakashi didn’t confess first, but he never planned to either, it just kinda came out all of a sudden. both of us had some sort of idea what being in a relationship would mean in terms of both the village and being shinobi. we’re both some of the more well known ninja and being together could be used to our enemies advantage.

there were/are a lot of stressors in our lives (the massive bounty on my head, kakashi being in anbu) that prevented both of us from wanting to be in a relationship, but we took the plunge anyways because we love each other so much

15. Does anyone else know about your feelings for your f/o? Did they find out on their own, or did you go to them? How about vice versa? Does anyone else know about your f/o’s feelings for you?

“anyone else” you mean literally everyone?? so many people knew except for US lol it was basically a “don’t tell kakashi or kojika” secret even tho sora and rei lowkey teased us about it quite a bit. people either found out on their own (it was a lil obvious) or was told by others (tho it was mostly the former). people probably had like, bets for when we’d finally actually become a thing. it was a mess LOL

for myself i wouldnt say it was one special moment rather than a collective bunch of moments! just him always being there for me, always lifting me up even when he thought the reason i was upset was dumb, always supporting me and encouraging me. all the late nights spent together out in the empty training fields where we were each others support, where he told me things he told no one else and vice versa. it made me start to realize how important kakashi really is to me, and how much i actually really loved him

for kakashi i think he always had a feeling that he loved me from the very start, but there were a lot of things that just confirmed it for him. he especially liked seeing how i interacted with others, how cheerful and happy i was around my friends and how i always wanted to make them smile. how nice i was to even strangers and willing to be friendly and talkative to anyone; i held no judgement to anyone and he thinks i have just this.... pure energy that he adores. dfbdshbfhsd this is a lil dumb but yeah i love him with my whole dang heart

i think... kakashis just always had feelings for me. starting from just an admiration crush from afar to a full blown crush and eventually love. he probably realized he had a crush shortly before we became genin and realized he loved me shortly after what happened with rin :(

i think i always had a crush on him too but i didn’t realize i did until i figured out that i loved him, which was probably some time after the ninetails attack?? i am and always will be a mess with feelings :’3

im so... oblivious about my feelings so i didn’t realize this but it definitely started off as a small crush!! it took me years to realize how i felt differently about him and how i acted around him actually was a crush and that i loved him (despite all the teasing from my teammates/friends). i think kakashi always had a big crush on me? but didn’t know how i felt so just showed it through simple lil acts like holding my hand and just watching out for me/being protective over me

IM OBLIVIOUS so to me kakashi was good at hiding his feelings. to everyone else??? it was pretty obvious. it probably caused my friends multiple headaches. they’d just watch him struggle with his dumb crush for me and eternally sigh. i definitely acted differently around kakashi compared to my friends but i don’t think it was anything too obvious so i think i’m pretty okay at hiding my feelings!! but i definitely did small things that he started to pick up on. any way we were just so dumb LOL
