Oh BOY! I have no idea where the hell i went with this but I hope you like it! I know you don't necessarily like angst, but this does have a little bit of angst in it as the reader does die, but don't worry, I think I tailored it to your taste well! At least, I hope I did <3 and yes! I'll definitely take good care of myself, but only cuz "requested" it hehe <3
Characters included: Kazuha, Itto, Kokomi, and Ayaka.
Back from the dead
Kaedehara Kazuha
His days without you were just empty. He wasnât as bright or cheerful and he certainly didnât have his usual flair with haikus. In fact, he would just silently stare at the distance horizon. Your death had only occurred about two weeks ago and he was still trying to cope with it. He often spent time right beside your grave, often falling asleep right on the headstone.
Beidou was worried to say the least. Kazuha barely ate, he slept on the ground by your grave, and he would rarely leave. She would bring him meals, force him to leave to take showers, change, and even just go on walks. Kazuha fought her every step of the way. So, she started using you as an excuse.
â(y/n) would hate it if you didnât eat.â âI think (y/n) would want you to shower.â âYou know what (y/n) always said, a walk a day keeps your mind at bay⊠or something like that.â And it worked. Little by little, Kazuha started taking care of himself. He was still quiet and there were no more haikus coming from him, but he didnât care and frankly, neither did Beidou. She just wanted him to take care of himself.
Then one day he was at your grave like always when he heard something. The wind stirred and he looked around cautiously before his eyes landed on your grave. A had shot out, making him scream and fall on the ground. He watched in horror as you- a corpse practically falling apart- crawled out of your own grave. Dried blood, bones with dried skin on it, grey and smelly; even the left side of your teeth were exposed through your rotting flesh.
âKaâŠzuhaâŠâ you croaked, making him scream as he backed away.
âN-no⊠no, stop!â He yelled as you weakly moved towards him. That wasnât you! That wasnât you!!
âHelp me⊠KazuhaâŠâ you whimpered but all Kazuha could do was flee. He fled like the coward he was, shutting his eyes and ignoring the pained scream that left your lips.
Arataki Itto
There was a significant change in Itto after your passing- everyone noticed it. Itto was quiet and his usual glow was gone. He did cry but usually he just sat there, emptily staring at nothing as he relived his memories about you over and over.
Itto spent most of his time around your grave. He didnât stray too far unless it was for showers. He wasnât eating all that well and he didnât really care about sleep. No one could even begin to convince him to move from that spot.
Then⊠something bizarre happened. It was a regular boring day at the grave, which he spent just staring at the headstone where your name had been carved. His eyes flickered down to the dirt when he thought it moved. Blinking and rubbing his eyes, he sighed when nothing happened. He was really losing it.
But then it happened again. And again. And again. Itto screamed when a hand shot out, grabbing the nearby dirt as another shot out. Slowly, he watched as your partially decomposed corpse dug itself out, reaching out to him. Another scream escaped to Oniâs lips as he backed away in fear. What the hell was going on!?Â
âI-Itto⊠h-helpâŠâ you said, reaching out to him. The man shook his head before you let out a groan. âIt hurts⊠h-help me⊠pleaseâŠâ you whimpered, making him bite his lip uncomfortably. Slowly moving towards you, he reached his hand out which you took. He almost winced at the way your partially revealed bones rubbed against his skin- and you certainly didnât smell like flowers. He helped you stand but kept a good distance. This wasnât real. As badly as he wanted you back⊠this wasnât right.
Yet it was you. Itto fell to his knees, tears filling his eyes as you reached out and dragged your bony hand across his cheek. If this was the only way he could have you, then he was ok with it. He just wanted you.
Wrapping his arms around your waist, he rested his head on your stomach as he felt you stroke his long hair.
Sangonomiya Kokomi
Your death occurred pretty much at the end of the war with Raiden Shogun. As the cleanup days began, Kokomi began to waste away. She could do nothing but sit on the floor and stare at the wall as he watched your death play in her mind over and over. No matter what anyone did, the Divine Priestess continued to neglect her health and wellbeing.
Most of her time was spent in her room, but some days she visited your grave so she could finally be at ease. There, she felt as if you were with her and for a moment- a very brief moment- she felt peace. She often wondered why she didnât die with you. She swore to stand by your side for an eternity⊠so where did that promise go?
â(y/n)... I miss youâŠâ she whispered, tears dripping down onto the dirt below, âI miss you so much that it hurts.â She placed one hand on her chest and the other on your headstone as she began to sob. âCome back to me! I-I canât live like this! I promised to stay with you b-but I canât just kill myself!â Her hand curled into a fist and she brought it down on the headstone. âYou jerk! You jerk! Why did you leave me!? Why did you leave me!?!â She yelled, her cries echoing in the empty cemetery all around her.
However, her sorrow was short lived as she felt the dirt below her shift a little. Through her blurry vision, she looked down and saw more movement. Wondering if it was bugs or something larger, she moved away but then a hand shot out. She screamed and quickly stood up, taking a few large steps back. Little by little, she watched as your decomposing corpse relentlessly dug until it was free.
âMy⊠KoâŠkomiâŠâ you said, reaching out to her. âMy darling⊠come⊠to meâŠâ you looked nothing like you did when you were alive. Your skin was grey, partially eaten away by bacteria and whatnot. She could still see the dried blood, bones were starting to peek through your skin, and the smell⊠that god awful smell.
But your voice was the same. Your beautiful⊠sweet voice. Kokomi blinked and suddenly you were whole once more. In her sorrowful delusions, she could see you as you once were- not as you looked standing before her. Reaching out, she took your hand, falling to her knees in front of you. Her other hand trailed down your cheek as she saw the blush that often covered them. Your soft pink lips were still so prominent under the moonlightâs pale rays. It was you. You were back. And that sweet scent⊠you smelled just like the day she lost you.
Throwing her arms around you, Kokomi embraced you, holding you so tightly. Tears of joy spilled down her cheeks as she let out loud sobs, thanking you for returning to her. Raising a bony hand which almost glowed under the moonlight, you stroked her blond hair to comfort her.
Kamisato Ayaka
All of Ayakaâs friends and family practically watched Ayaka fall apart after your death. All she did was cry, which would be followed by intense silence, then screaming. Ayakaâs mental and physical health suffered after your passing causing Ayato and Thoma to desperately try and find a way to save her. At the way Ayaka was going, she would die too and they couldnât let that happen, knowing that you wouldnât want something as awful as that.
Ayato took on the entire clanâs job, even what Ayaka did while Thoma and Lumine worked to help Ayaka. They kept her fed, forced her to leave the house, did their best to stick around. Ayato overworked himself, making sure his sister would never be alone. He would still find time to spend with her, often spending an hour a day just holding her. Ayakaâs moods were⊠frightening to say the least. Especially when she started screaming. She would hit the table and she would scream out your name, demanding to know why you left her. There was only so much the others could do to help her cope. You meant so much to Ayaka that of course your death would be extremely traumatic.
So, Thoma suggested she visit your grave. It was something she could never do because she hated the idea of it. She could barely attend your funeral, let alone just go there to see you. But when Thoma told her that you were waiting for her⊠something changed. Suddenly, Ayaka needed to go see you and she did. She began spending her days there and little by little, Lumine, Ayato, and Thoma started noticing a drastic difference. Ayaka was actually eating, she was crying or screaming as much, and she would enjoy leaving the house. Though, Thoma was worried sheâd pick up a nasty habit of pretending you were alive.
So, he- along with Ayato and Lumine- tried to gauge her thoughts. When they sat her down and asked about you, they received an answer they didnât like.
â(y/n) is alive! Of course they are! Theyâre waiting for me at the cemetery.â So Thoma made the worst mistake and told her you werenât alive anymore. That led to a full blown argument- practically a screaming match- before Ayaka fled to the cemetery. All three followed her where they found her crying over your grave saying things like âwhy do they keep saying youâre not real?! I see you! Every day!â
Ayato, Thoma, and Lumine watched in horror as the grave stirred. Ayaka backed away, all four watching as a hand shot out. Little by little, they watched a boney, half destroyed you crawl out of the grave. Your skin was grey and falling apart, your bones were now revealed as your skin was slowly eaten away. You had no hair and you were very horrific looking.
But Ayaka smiled. She cheered as she ran towards you, only for Ayato to grab her arm and pull her back. Ayaka growled, using her cryo vision to toss Ayato away before standing in front of you protectively.
âDonât try and take away MY (y/n).â

Hi, Pocket! I only got to know that your requests are open now, so... Forgive me for being kinda sudden with this >////<
For the request... What about Yoimiya with a special one that is very much interested in her work with fireworks? Like, they enjoy seeing her planning, developing and releasing them... Not to mention watching them in the sky together during a festival or just for testing them to see the results?
I'd love to see your view on this... And thank you so much for reading my ask X3 - đ»
Aww this is cute! I think this might be my one and only Yoimiya request lol or maybe there's a couple others but no one really requests her. Though, then again, no one really requests the girls often xD
Fireworks
You met Yoimiya a few years back and youâd hit it off quite quickly. You two were already best friends within a few months. One of the things you bonded over was the fact that you loved fireworks and she made them. She often let you watch the process, even coming to you for ideas and whatnot. Sometimes, if you were up to it, she would show you the process and youâd make them together. And the best part, you got to watch them be released too.
However, on this particular day, youâd gone to Yoimiyaâs dad for help. You wanted to make a special firework, one that only she could see. He was more than happy to help you, giving you advice to make it the best firework youâd ever seen- one that Yoimiya would eventually beat.
âOh, hey (y/n)!â Yoimiya waved with a smile. You called her over to your spot and had her sit down beside you. âWhatâs up? What are we doing here?â
âSo, I hope you donât mind⊠but your dad helped me design a firework just for you.â You said with a smile. âI wanted you to see it.â Yoimiyaâs eyes lit up and she gave you the biggest smile she could muster.
âOh my goodness! Yes, I would love to see it!â You covered her eyes, knowing the firework would go off any minute now. And the second you saw it fly into the air, you moved your hand aside.
The firework flew up as high as it could reach, exploding into a million little sparks with a big heart coming up right in the middle. Then the very last bit sent multiple fireworks into the air and they briefly spelled out âI love youâ with plenty of red, orange, and golden sparkles around it.
After it all settled, you looked towards Yoimiya, your heart beating out of your chest but she was still staring at the sky.
âUm⊠d-did you like it?â You asked, feeling your voice shake a little. Finally, Yoimiya turned to face you, tears glittering in her eyes. She still had that beautiful smile and she nodded.
âI loved it. I think that⊠that was my favorite firework⊠ever.â You felt your cheeks heat up and you looked down but it was only brief, because Yoimiya placed two fingers under your chin and lifted your head up. Slowly, she leaned in her, her lips brushing across yours for a second. âI love you too.â
