The new Honda WRV facelift, which will be propelled by BS6 engines this time around, won't feature Earth-shattering design changes.

The new Honda WR-V facelift will be launched in India later today. You know what that means? Yep, it is time for a quick review of how much the car is likely to cost. But first, let's quickly go through the basics, yeah? Honda confirmed the launch of the upcoming SUV in India only a few days ago, though the 2020 WRV had been "teased" much before that. In fact, the Japanese automaker had also started accepting bookings for the upcoming Honda car in India a while ago -- you will need a token amount of just ₹5,000 if you want to bring this baby home.

Now, on to the design changes.

As we have said before, the new Honda WRV will not look vastly different from before, i.e. it still has the same silhouette, for starters. The cosmetic changes are, let's go with subtle; it gets an updated grille with horizontal vents, revised LED projector headlamps, new bumper, redesigned LED tail lights, and new alloy wheels.

Inside, the car is not expected to come bearing a world of differences. So, perhaps new upholstery along with run-of-the-mill provisions such as keyless entry, push button start/stop, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, electric sunroof, semi-digital instrument panel, automatic climate control, etc.

The BS6 Honda WRV range will be available in two engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol motor and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine, paired to a five-speed manual gearbox, belts out 88 bhp with 110 Nm of peak torque, whereas the Honda WR-V's diesel engine generates a maximum power output of 98 bhp with 200 Nm of torque. Its transmission options include just a six-speed manual gearbox.

Considering the BS6 engines, the cosmetic changes, and features, the new Honda WRV's price in India shouldn't get much of an increase as compared to the BS4 model. The older range's price started at ₹8.15 lakh and went all the way up to ₹10.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). So, perhaps the 2020 Honda WRV's price ought to start at around ₹8.25 lakh. And if Honda really wants to give it a fighting chance in the market, may be it will adopt a more aggressive pricing strategy

Car on road price,variant and my pov(point of view) is given below :- Honda wrv vx petrol manual, 16.5 kmpl petrol showroom price - ₹ 9,76,400 Honda wrv vx petrol manual, 16.5 kmpl petrol on road price - ₹ 11,11,962 Honda wrv vx diesel manual, 23.7 kmpl diesel model showroom price - ₹ 10,99,900 Honda wrv vx diesel manual, 23.7 kmpl diesel model on road price - ₹ 12,60,759 MY Point Of View:- Well according to me, in the facelift of WRV there are changes in the exterior of the car like you now get led's in the headlight and the front foglight except for the indicators, the taillights also now get led's except for the indicators,when you sit inside the car you see that there is nothing much changed you get the same dashboard as you get in the 4th generation city , the company can bring some changes in the dashboard to make it dashboard look great but the company didn't, you get sunroof and front armrest, front armrest is of no use because it's very low in hieght, In the rear seat you will see that there are no rear headrest, no rear seat armrest, no rear acvents although the car get cooled very quickly and also there is no charging socket,at this price point the company should offer these features, the space management in front and rear seats is amazing, seats are also comfortable but again there is no rear headrest and rear armrest which is a big dissapointment, the diesel engine is way more good to drive when you compare it with petrol engine ,the petrol engine feels underpower, the diesel engine has lot of noise which you can hear in the cabin the company should work on this, the diesel engine in the new facelift produce less mileage when you compare it with the old wrv model, it's beacuse of the bs6 emissions,steering and handling is ok in this car not too good. if you ask me would i buy diesel or petrol wrv then i will pick the diesel wrv because it is more good to drive and gives better mileage than petrol, the only problem is the noise which you can hear in the cabin fron the diesel engine but if you can live with that than you can absolutely go for the diesel WRV.
