Text
I loved all the various music styles of Subspace Rhapsody too. It was such a diverse selection.
Typical Musical exposition and finale songs with chorus in rounds (Status Report and We Are One)
Acapella (Main Title)
Waltz (Connect to Your Truth), this one reminded me of Singing in the Rain
Power Ballads with different flavours (How Would That Feel and Keep Us Connected), Uhura's song was more Rock-y than La'an's.
Sung-Spoken Dialogue (Private Conversation)
Soft Pop Ballad (Keeping Secrets)
(Blue eyed) Soul/R&B (I'm Ready and I'm the X), these ones reminded me of Amy Winehouse and Adele
And while there were overlapping themes and motives as there should be in any good musical, all of the songs actually all felt unique and distinctive from each other enough that they didn't all blend into one.
