So if Ani’s Aunt has a name, Nettla, than she must have a second name. (Ala, Calib-Loncris, Napralina-Victery, Susena-Ofelienna, Rianno-Hancery) And this gives us leave to come up with names for Ani’s mom, Queen of Kildenree.

A Kildenreen tradition is giving your children names after their grandparents, (Talianna-Isilee being Nettla and Queenie’s mom) So also feel free to come up with Ani’s great-grandma’s names to give Nettla and Queenie full Kildenreen names!.

Anyone else remember Isi’s brother Calib? Yes? No?

Some people might not like his character because he became king of Kildenree when Isi was supposed to be queen, but I actually feel really bad for him. I don’t think he wanted to take away something that his sister was supposed to have, and only did when their mother forced it on him. Also, he was the second born, so he was never raised to believe he would be a ruler, and then when Isi got sent away to marry Geric he was suddenly the king of Kildenree with no idea how to rule. His life was going to be full of freedom, as a prince who didn’t have to worry about ruling, and he had probably already made plans for where his life was going to go, but then whoops, suddenly he’s king and that’s going to be the rest of his life.

I just really wanted to see him stand up to his mother, or defend Isi. Or just see him again in the series.
