You are stuck. This is a room you do not recognize, because you have never been down here before. You did not even know this room existed, until you were seized by hands far stronger than yours and thrown in here.

You do not know how long has passed. To conserve energy, because you do not know how long you will be down here and you have no known ability that could help, you have been sitting there. Still. Silent. Drifting.

You have not been fully conscious for some time. Mostly, you sit there, and ignore the chafing of the cuffs on your wrists, and keep your eyes closed or half-open. Everything is painted in red. There is a single window, far above your head, and you cannot reach it because you cannot stand. The cuffs chain you to the wall, attaching so low that you can barely get to your feet.

You are sorry. For whatever you did, you are so sorry. You thought you did everything right. You thought they, somehow, trusted you. You thought you had proven yourself.

Risking your life in inane and self-sacrificial ways every week seems like enough of a reason to trust you.

But no. Now you are down here. And you do not know how long it's been. And you do not know how long it will be.

You only wake up when there is noise. Someone is being dragged down here with you. Someone with a booming voice, who is fighting every step of the way, like you didn't, like you should have. They are not in shock. They have kicked right into fight mode, while you defaulted to freeze.

You recognize that voice. It is but an itch in your mind, but you recognize it. That is someone who definitely does not deserve to be down here.

You get to your feet.

You start to struggle to the bars, despite legs unused to your own weight and hands locked to short chains on the wall. You do not get halfway there, but for the first time in who knows how long, you find your voice.

In cracking words, you plead for them to stop. That is a good person! They don't deserve to be down here! Please, they've only ever done their job! Please let them go!! For a second, you think they hear you. For a second, they hesitate. And then the person is thrown with no small mercy into the cell beside you. You hear their chains click, and the cuffs snap painfully tight around their wrists, as they are on yours. You're aware of it, now. How much those cuffs dig into your skin. How they feel like they're denting the bone.

You pull. You yank. You scream. No one deserves this! Neither of you have done anything! You do not deserve to be trapped like this!!

Your captors do not listen. They leave the room again, and the rusted door above screeches shut with a finality. Despite this, you continue to scream. You continue to writhe, and jab your hands out as far as they could go in some feeble hope of breaking the chains. But it does not work. The metal is too strong. Your voice breaks again far too quickly. How long has it been since you drank? Since you ate? How long will you rot down here? How long will this metal confine you to being half a person? How long will bars and stone and red be all you see?

How long until you and your fellow prisoner die here?

3. Favorite scene and why.When they’re all lined up on their horses looking over the town, making bleak jokes, and Goody and Billy are kinda just off to the side doing their own thing. Goody tries to share his (empty) water skin with Billy and Billy just slams its back so hard against Goody’s chest and Goody is just like “??? Whatever” like he’s used to Billy randomly being grumpy. It’s so good!!!!! And pure!!!! It does nothing for the movie except to show that they’re married????!!!!???

8. Favorite Billy Rocks moment and why?That scene a little after the first shoot out where they’re all gathering in the middle of town and he’s like “You alright?” and he’s just looking at his buddy so soft and he’s a little sweaty and his hair is just curling so sweetly. And like, this entire time he’s been this beautiful, mysterious, dangerous man and the just moment Goody starts to crack, Billy immediately gets all soft and worried and is instantly glued to his side.

Also just all of the scenes that highlight his sense of humor “That is funny” and “This’ll help” and when he cracks his first real smile at “what’s a syllable”. Like he is such a soft, sweet boy whose terrible sense of humor is completely unappreciated.

17. Most attractive character and why?I’m so into Goodnight? He’s just the right blend of fancy and frumpy?? Those long, long legs in the cavalier boots? That little bit of belly? Soft, gravelly voice? His accent???????????????? HIS GROSS, FLAT, GREASY HAIR??? The way he kinda looks like a baby giraffe when he runs? Gimme some of that sweaty, mess of a cowboy, hip swagger all day babah

23. Most improved character.I wanna say Jack Horne? I don’t think I can articulate exactly why because he was… on like… a different astral plane than everyone else but…..that dude…something happened to him
