the problem with mutants/yokai integrating into human society is the tons of humans that would cause such a ruckus and probably have riots or something over it. they would try to keep them out of their human schools, and try to make new bathrooms to keep them out of 'their spaces' and to 'keep the children safe'. because humans are awful.

You wouldn't be able to post your naughty pictures on tumblr anyway it's against TOS to post NSFW (drawn or otherwise) and if you post it your blog can get flagged and made unusable. Or the picture itself will be un-veiwable even if it it's a private post. Your best bet is to post it off site and then link it to people who wanna see it tbh

Yeah I know. I mean the policy thing doesn't stop nsfw from being posted but does make it hard and stupid. I've even had some of my stuff that wasn't even anywhere near nsfw flagged. I might just post it elsewhere and put a link here. I just don't have much other social media other than furaffinity. I don't even have multiple blogs.

So, the FOTNT guys used to have a regular, non-robot Mikey. But since I'm awful, Mikey was killed in the fight with Shredder 12 years ago, when he was 15. The family kind of... fell apart after that.

sghhsfs yes, Mikey happened.

Don is the most shithead. He acts coldly toward his family, rarely ever leaves the lab- and when he does, he avoids his brothers like the plague. He glares at literally everyone and will threaten your life.

Leo has that Rise arrogance that he puts on, trying to come off like he doesn't care when he cares so much actually. He acts like SUCH a douche- Like your typical cocky, jocky, party dude. He spends a lot of time out of the lair. It just feels too empty and quiet without Mikey running around...

Raph is the least amount asshole. She's like the mom friend, but comes off really mean and aggressive most of the time- Which is usually just a coping mechanism and to protect himself.

Leo and Raph start to reconnect throughout the story. They just want their family bond back... But it's hard to get through to Don when he's always locked up in his high-security lab.

There's a point when Raph actually moves out of the lair and in with her girlfriend, Mona. Leaving Leo feeling alone... Sure, Splinter and Don are still there, but Donnie is ALWAYS avoiding them to the point where if he disappeared they wouldn't even notice, and Splinter is their dad, it's just not the same...

No. No, he does not. At least that's how it was at first. And that's what he'd tell you if you asked him directly. It's a robot. It doesn't have feelings and it's not actually Mikey... But after a while, Don starts feeling a warmth inside himself when interacting with the robot. He brushes it off, buries it deep down, and refuses to accept that he might actually care about it.

He made it too good. It talks like Mikey, acts like Mikey, fights like Mikey. And for once he's upset with how good one of his projects turned out...

The others don't know about Mike-bot for a long while. Don keeps him in the lab, and his brothers can't get in to see him even if they tried. But they eventually find out. And man, it's a mess.

For your tmnt iteration why the fuck does Donnie avoid them like the plague and threaten them like I’ve heard of him in other iterations avoiding his brothers sometimes but that’s always a health thing and he gets over it but your Donnie will literally be so avoidant like it’s obvious that this wasn’t always the case if they “want the family back together”

Self-isolation is his coping mechanism. Life sucks, tensions in the family are high, and their little brother is dead. He made a robot that looks like Mikey as some twisted form of coping but now he's growing attached and that pisses him off. Leo is always trying to argue with him. Raph looks at him like he's a stranger, like she doesn't even recognize him.

They say they want to be close again, but Don thinks they sure have a weird way of showing it.

He can barely look into his brothers' eyes. He's supposed to be the big brother. The eldest is the strongest, right? But he's in his lab day in and day out, wallowing in sorrow over shit that happened 12 fucking years ago. How pathetic is that? Leo and Raph seem to have moved on. They go out. They make friends. They have lives outside of the lair. And yet Don, the eldest brother, doesn't.

He holes himself up in his lab, tinkering with who knows what, glaring at his brothers if he does exit that wall-to-wall electronic hell he calls a lab, but never looking them in the eyes. How can he? How could he ever? When he was there. He was paired up with Mikey when it happened. He was there. And he couldn't do shit to stop it.

Isn't it pathetic? To be so caught up on it after all these years?

Are mutants and yokai living integrated with humans in any of your aus? Or being introduced to society?

I have a few, but the ones that immediately come to mind are Rise of The Spiderverse and Fall of The Ninja Turtles (iteration).

ROTSV takes place in a timeline where Yokai were never forced into hiding. So the boys just live in NY like normal people.

And in FOTNT, mutants fully integrate into society a few years after Shredder is defeated.
